this is a sunggyu centric drabble
i decided to put it here because this series
"mapping the trajectory of feelings"
is about the vast spectrum of feelings each of us experiences

i wish i could take your loneliness away.

He watches. The grand silence is set upon him, surrounding him in the embrace so strong he can feel it in his bones. Aching. The pain penetrates his body throughoutly and within the way in which thousands invisible needles press into the surface of his skin, he finds an odd sensation of serenity.

And he closes his eyes.

It’s like theatre’s curtains, the darkness spreads itself before him and the force unknown tugs the corner of his upwards.

He feels.

The wind caressing his cheek,

the hair of his fringe tickling his eyelids,

shivers dancing down his spine in a calm waltz,

and the pain.

The sweetness crawling closer to his heart, reaching a small hand out to catch it, chasing it, desiring. A pair of hands grasping it and tearing it apart, releasing a cage of butterflies which wings flutter, colourful pieces eloping to the sky. There is a mellifluous sound they create, soft tunes splashing his heart in tranquillity. And the dusty corners, encountering warmth for the first time, bathing in the rays of Sun, blossom. They spread their petals with a grace so extraordinary he can feel each caress of enchantment, each weak beat.

When he opens his eyes, colours collide.

They coalesce, blend, diffuse in the grand velvet spreading itself above his head.

They embrace each other.

They dance together.

They become one.

And Sunggyu reaches his hand out, only to meet nothing.

He paints.

He tints the canvas of the Sky in his feelings.

And he smiles.
