"You're so in love with him!" Yejin yelled, munching her burger. 

We're at our usual cafe that we usually hangs out after school, which were just a few walks away. And apparently I'd told her my encounter with Chanyeol earlier and immediate regret took over my conscious, Yejin is acting like a typical fan-girl spazzing at me and him. She was almost literally yelling, making us the center of attraction in the cafe, I'd lost count of how many times I'd told her to quiet down.

"God, you're making sucha big fuss over something." I blew a sigh, throwing the fries into my mouth and chew on it grumpily. 

"Me? Making a big fuss?" She looks at me incredulously. "C'mon! It's the hottest school's bad boy we're talking about! It's worth the 'big fuss'! You don't know how many girls in the school wish to take your place, be grateful."

"Including you?" 

"Chanyeol's yours! I've my own to fawn over." A blush crept over her cheeks as she turned to look outside the big glass window. Oh, I didn't knew the mighty Lee Yejin, my best friend could have a crush on someone. This is getting fun. 

"Who is it?" I smirked, leaning over the table to poke on her shoulder. A brighter shade of crimson appears on her cheeks as she shakes her head no. "C'mon, tell me. Please?" I made a puppy face, always her weakness. 

She stole glances at me, I could almost see her giving in. "You know I'll be extremely sad if you didn't tell me right?" I pushed in further. And finally, she hits her limit in resisting me. "Alright, fine! It's..." her voice trailed off. 

"Its?"

"Baekhyun.." She said, her face back to being crimson red as she continue munching her burger profusely, too embarrassed to look at me. I remained silent for awhile, processing what she just said before I burst out. 

"YOU LIKE BYUN BAEKHYUN?!" 

A bunch of fries was toss towards my face, an angry and also flustered Yejin was glaring at me. "Can you ing lower down your volume? Do you want me to be the center of attraction?" 

"Well you know how I'd felt when you screamt me and Chanyeol earlier." I giggled. 

"Fine, you won." 

"Say, Yejin. Does Baekhyun knows about it?" 

Yejin sighs, shaking her head. "I've tried my very best to keep my feelings whenever he's around me. I..it's just he's one of the most popular boy in school, who am I to be with him? Lets not say falling in love with him. I guess I can only keeps my feeling to myself throughout my school years.." 

I stared at Yejin, the first time I heard her so dejected and loss before. We'd been friends since we were kids and Yejin being serious about something is something I could count with my five fingers, I guess she's really serious Baekhyun this time round. 

And then my mind suddenly flashes an image of Chanyeol. My hand involuntarily moves towards my chest. Why is it everytime I thought of him, my heart will beats vigorously. And the thought of his lip close to mine earlier send electric shock through my veins, his soft lips were so alluring, as if tempting me to taste it. Everything about Chanyeol is driving me crazy and the its frustrating me that I don't even know why I'm acting like this towards him. 

"Earth to Seojin!" Yejin waved in front of me, snapping me out of my trance. 

"S..sorry?" 

"I was just asking you what's your thought about this? Y'know..Me and Baekhyun.." She chuckled sheepishly, scratching the back of her neck. 

My stares soften, my hand reaching to grab hers. "Its not a crime to fall in love with someone. So what if he's the most popular kid in school? When two hearts are meant for each other, no distance is too far, no time is too long and definitely both of your status couldn't be the obstacle standing between two fates. You hear me?" 

Yejin squeezes my hand softly, smiling at me. "Thank you, Seojin ah. I hope someday, you could find someone who could make you feel happy too. And I sincerely hope its Chanyeol." She wriggles her eyebrow teasingly. 

"Oh no, we're just being so dramatic and you just had to do this." I rolled my eyes and chuckle afterwards. Who knew Lee Yejin, who always claimed her heart is made of stone could fell in love? Sometimes, we just got to expect the unexpected. 

But I wonder, does it applies to me as well? And throughout the entire day, there's always one thing stills lingering in my mind...

Park Chanyeol. 

After spending time with Yejin at the cafe, we decided to head home as the sun was setting.  I was taking a short cut down the alley that would take me approximately 20 minutes to get home, whereas taking the street would at least take me half an hour. I couldn't afford to waste more time as I needed to rush my homeworks that was due tomorrow. I heaved a sigh of exhuastion as I take a turn into the alley when my eyes made out a figure of a person running towards me, I squinted my eyes with the help of the dim light and before I could fully make out the appearance of the person, he grabs my arms and pulls me with him.

"Don't go in there! Its dangerous!" 

I couldn't process everything that happens withn that split second as I retardedly ran along with him with his hand still gripped onto mine. And when everything clicks in my head, I realize I was too late to retort as we were already across the road. "What the hell?!" I spat, turning around to face the stranger- 

"Park Chanyeol?!" 

He was crouching down as he pants heavily, sweats dripped down from his temper and there are slight bruises on his face. Did he get into a fight? My hand involuntarily reaches to touch his bruises when he suddenly looks up, causing me to jerk my hand back. 

I let out a cough. "Wh..what do think you are doing? Huh?" I look at him with an annoyed expression. I was truly annoyed by the fact that he was disrupting my schedule for tonight. I was planning to finish up my work so I could catch on my dramas! Now he ruins everything. 

"Listen up." He says in a low voice, catching his breathe. "I'll leave the explanation till next time. But right now, you're in danger." 

"Mwo? Me?" I pointed to myself.

"Yes."

"And why is that so?" I crossed my arms as I raised a brow at him. 

"They saw me running with you, and they definitely saw your look." 

"Who are you talking about?" I questioned him, getting confused. "It was a gang from the other school, I was on the way home when I met them. We always had a rivalry relationship with them, so we engaged in a fight and..." His voice trailed off, leaving the rest for me to process. 

Since when did Park Chanyeol involved in gang fights? 

Oh right, EXO are the top bad boys in the school, its normal for them to involve in such activities. Its like their hobbies, what can you expect from a bad boy anyway? Study? Education? That'd probably happened when the human population ceased to exist. No offence. 

"So why am I involved?" 

"They had saw your looks, and they must have probably think you're involve with me some way or another. It might be possible if they were to get you too." He said casually as he stood up and dust off his pants. 

"What the ?" 

"So I suggest it will be better if you go with me, so you could have a better protection when you're with us." 

He turns around and walk another way. "I'll see you in school tomorrow then." He waves his hand, with his back still turned against me. I watched as he turned round the corner to another street, leaving me dumbfounded on the ground. 

What has this bastard got me into?
