{Friday Evening}

They were all gathered in Rosé's flat, Makeup and Outfits were scattered everywhere, as they were getting ready for a Party At Je Won's place in honor of his and Rosé's 44th day together, It sounded all mushy and teenager stuff but their friends thought it was cute as hell, And Seohyun out of all, thought that it was a relief that her friends could make most of the circumstances and get what she wants without drama unlike her,

But most of all she was nervous, since going to Je Won's means She'd meet him, after getting consumed into effort to avoid him at the office,

Temporarily until she sorts out her mind and her feelings and decides what she could do about everything.

That night , there was literally no escape

Even the peace offering little event he made for her, she just started feeling even more uncomfortable around him, Because it was kinda hard to be friends when she's feeling more for him, besides the effort he made just to bring her into a low key date and make it look like nothing, was stirring something into her.

And still on her 'being invisible' mission, she opted for a simple outfit, A Grey printed Tee , a pair of washed jeans, black ankle boots and black leather jacket.

Little did she know, she looked low key y.

The other girls went for a little flashy outfits, but the Flashiest was Rosé's since she was the party girl, and she simply always loved that style.

She could hear a car honking outside,

"Sé?? Are you expecting someone?" She asked Rosé who just emerged from the en suite bare-footed

"It's Kyu!! he's going with us" She said cheerfully

"Kyu oppa? Why?" She nervously asked

"It's a party meant for friends? inner circle, And kyu belongs?" She said matter of factly,

Kyu was indeed in their inner circle, but it just stopped being 'so inner' in Seohyun's eyes ever since he confessed and things got awkward, and then him showing up everyday at the office, forcing her out on lunch 'dates', sending flower and all kind of cliché moves

"She's setting you up, She wants to squeeze Yonghwa's guts out, so he would spill his feelings to you" Lisa came in with two pairs of shoes "So this or this?" She asked for Seohyun's opinion.

"YAH! LISA" Rosé shrieked "What do you take me for?" 

Seohyun eyed her skeptically,

"Fine, maybe I wanted that a little, but uhh, I just want all of us to have fun, so If you feel uncomfortable, I'll make sure He stays withing a mile away from you"

"White shoes Liz, It'll be perfect on your outfit" Seohyun commented "And just don't bother Sé-yah, I'm a big girl, I'll handle myself"

As the night went on, Seohyun found herself seated at a calm corner with Kyuhyun as the party was on full blast  , although there were only them along with Je won and his three friends, Jisoo's (blind date turned boyfriend), and kyuhyun who was invited by Jennie, saying that it'd be fun seeing a little drama unfolding firsthand.

Yonghwa's face was hotter than the grill that he was supervising, as he glances at Seohyun every now and then

He disliked Kyuhyun's attendance, since he wanted to have Seohyun all to himself that night, since he barely sees her at work, makes him wonder if she was avoiding him on purpose.

His blood were definitely boiling when he saw Seohyun assisting the now drunk kyuhyun inside the apartment, His mind ran wild on the possibilities

It's not like If he walked inside he'll find them all over each other but, They were all alone inside aren't they?

He was holding himself hardly to not just bolt inside, But what would he even say? he had no right to do anything

How he hated that fact

"Yah the sausages are overcooked now, where's your mind?" Jae Wook shrieked as he hurriedly took the sausages into the plate

His friend was still in a daze so Jae wook waved a hand over his face "Yah, where'd you gone to?"

Unable to hold himself anymore, he handed the tongs to his friend hurriedly " I need to use the bathroom" and rushed inside.

He looked around, but was met with silence, only the faint sound from the party outisde in the patio

Until a loud shriek broke the silence, his head whipped into its direction, it came from upstairs, and he wasted no time to run there, a few more screams followed,

Arriving in front of the bathroom, tearing the door open,in time Seohyun came blasting through it and onto his arms, she looked terrified as She looked up at him startled, and her eyes registered relief upon finding it was him, but she was soon terrified as his own face went from worried to furious as he looked over her shoulder to a staggering kyuhyun who was trying to catch up to her,

His hands that momentarily wrapped around her, soon left her pushing her lightly aside and rushing past her landing a punch on Kyu's jaw knocking him down.

{Seohyun's POV}

Kyuhyun was getting ahead of himself, drowning alcohol like a deprieved teenager, I tried to talk him out of it but he just told me to loosen up and enjoy the party, and he wasn't eating anything, I was sure he'd be knocked out in no time.

I feel burdened enough that I was kinda stuck with him for the night, since he didn't know any of Je Won's friends and he didn't fancy Yonghwa although he knew him briefly, and to be honest I never expected him to attend to begin with

On the other hand, Yonghwa's accusing stares that he occasionally shot me with, made everything more uncomfortable

"Seo-nah! My stomach feels queasy, can you help me to freshen up?" Kyuhyun blurted from beside me breaking my thinking, whith a sigh I stood up

"Let's go" I lent him a hand and he took it, getting up, I helped him inside, asking JeWon on our way , where his bathroom was

I guided him upstairs, and upon arriving I helped him roll up his shirt sleeves and let him wash his face as I stood behind him, tilting his head up, he looked at me with his blood shot eyes through the mirror, Something in them I've never seen before, and as he turned my way, I instinctively took a step back as he walked towards me, suddenly engulfing my into his embrace,

My body went rigid "Oh, my lovely Seohyun" He caressed my hair

"Kyu Oppa, L-let's get outside, Fresh air would help" I tried to push him but he didn't budge

"Aniyo, let's stay a little longer, don't you want that? Stay with oppa? I've always wanted this" He said as his hand was aiming lower down my back and I pushed him a little harder stepping away

"Don't come near me" I held up my palm in the air as he tried to walk up to me

"What is it now? Are you afraid of me?" He scoffed "Seo-nah, Is there someone else?" He looked into my eyes looking all sober as he took fast strides towards me and I was too afraid to exit through the door as that meant going past him "I know there's someone else"

"I said don't come" I repeated as I searched for something I can defend myself with, but found nothing but few bottles of shampoo and skin care

"Is it That Bastard that you can't stop ogling the whole night? The one I cought you with in your office that day" He spat and I was dumbfounded, how..
