"Seo-ah, you can't keep on frowning all day, believe me by the next time you see him he won't recall a thing about it" Jisoo Nudged her when she noticed how Seohyun kept spacing out while watching a movie with her and Jennie

Being filled out on the last night's events by Jennie, Jisoo now took part in comforting her embarrassed friend thoroughly

"I don't think so, I just hope I never see him again" She sighed

"Are you sure you really want that? I heard he was a super handsome fellow" Jisoo giggled

"Yah, what does that have with me" She hid her face, afraid that might blush

"By the time you spark some office romance with him and you enjoy every moment, you'll know what we're talking about, very well" Jennie interjected, pausing the movie since it was futile to keep watching with a hot topic at discussion.

Feeling like She had enough with her friends' silliness, She got up to get her phone from the charger, turning it on, her inbox was flooding with messages, She bit her lips, finding lots of messages from her father must meant he needed her.

She called him immediately, but to her relief he was just checking up on her, and giving her heads up about a business dinner

Business dinners being almost a ritual, she didn't give much thought to it, she'd know what it is about later, but she never thought about asking 

"Girls, I'll take my leave, for now Adios" She made a slight salute and made a run to Jennie's room to grab her things

"Yah Jen, I'm borrowing and outfit" she yelled from the room

"The wardrobe is all yours, " Jennie yelled back

Moments later She emerged from the room dressed in plain white T-shirt and black skinny jeans and her heels from last night.

"I'm leaving" Her purse was going to give way from the things she was trying to hurriedly stuff inside.

"Are we meeting in the middle of the week? I haven't gotten enough of you" Jisoo pouted.

"We'll text each other, let's try to squeeze a date midweek , if not then definitely the weekend is all ours" Seohyun assured.

"I'll have your dress properly washed and taken care of , and I'll send it over" Jennie suggested

"Aniyo! Don't send it so soon, can u please keep the thing till this embarrassment ends? Too much haunting memories on the poor fabric" 

"Hahaha, arasseo, no worries. I can change the design if you like? or I'll just stick a large hideous bow on the chest" Jennie laughed

"Oh, please it went through enough torture already" As she opened the door Rosé was there, and she threw her arms around seohyun;

"Seo-nah! Are you going already?" Rosé hugged her friend so tight "But I have a juicy night's events to share" She pouted

"I'll listen to every bit of it, just not now, I need to check in at home and get ready for tonight's dinner"

She explained while fixing her heels' straps.

"Ooh! This dinner sounds important, is it with Mr, Handsome from last night?" 

"Aniyo, It's business related"

" I see, but how was last night?" 

"Not as fun as yours , that's for sure, If anything it was traumatizing, Jennie can fill you in" She kissed her cheek hurriedly and disappeared through the door.

As she came into their mansion, Seohyun walked tiredly to her room, the maids were weirded by her awfully silent behavior, even when Auntie Kim, their house keeper asked if she wanted a scoop of her favourite dish, She just gave a slight smile and shook her head

"Is the Agashi feeling unwell? She looks pale" Jae Mi asked in concern

"That I don't know, just prepare her a honey tea and takeit up to her room" Auntie Kim sighed

She was almost done, she was seated at her vanity applying a fine touch up of powder, her puffy eyes were no joke

'Just great, now anyone could say you had a rough night' She pointed the brush at her reflection in the mirror spitefully

'Am I being paranoid?'

She sighed 'Should I just call in sick?Ugh, but I promised dad already'

She was already thinking of not going,

The no biggie ended up being a being deal, when their company for the dinner became known to her

Thoughts were running wild inside her head, as if someone had pulled the fire alarm in there

"Where's omma when I need her" She sighed for the nth time, her mother was in a trip to thailand, and when she facetimed her earlier, she had no heart to ruin her mother's fun time with her complaining.

A knock was heard 

"Come in"

Her father peeked inside "You ready?" He smiled warmly and She nodded.

He walked inside and produced a velvet box out of his pocket as soon as he stood next to her 

"What is this?" She asked as she received it carefully

"A gratitude token? You've been a tough pillar among the ones holding the company up high since last year, thanks for being the best daughter appa could ask for" He patted her shoulders

"Aww thank you appa, but is this dramatic speech is all that is?"

He laughed "What else" 

She narrowed her eyes at him so he laughed harder

"Okay, okay the little birdie told me you were kind of disturbed today and not so yourself, and that you almost freaked out for not finding a suitable jewelry for your dress, so I figured I start off by sorting this little problem first and then if you wanna tell appa about the rest we can try sorting that as well"

"Aren't you just the best appa ever?" She hugged him, "But it's really nothing to worry about , really! let's just say I drank a little more than usual last night, and suffered a slightly longer than usual hangover that sent my emotions haywire" She tried to sound as much convincing as she could, She wouldn't tell him about the stint she pulled with Yonghwa, and almost kissing the son of her father's latest partner wasn't really something she could give away.

She was thankful her appa was always there even at his busiest, He never made her feel like he doesn't have time for her , and he never let his work ruin his family bound.

"Is that so? I thought that maybe we would be in the middle of a relationship discussion by now, agreeing upon a way to kill him and bury him somewhere no one would discover, all for upsetting my princess"

She laughed nervously at the mention of a man being the responsible for this, even tho her father was joking 

"Aniyo we don't have to kill yet because there's no one, let's go already" She pulled him out 

Unlike at club the last night, Yonghwa was focused and immersed into the conversation, and not melting her under his intense gaze. 

Much to her relief and disappointment...

He would only glance at her direction whenever she was commenting on something

'Who would be interested in you after the things you did, Seohyun oh Seohyun, you brought this upon yourself'

"Isn't it Seohyun?" Her father asked and she had no idea what they were talking about,she looked startled for a second as all eyes were on her before she regained her composure 

"I totally agree" She smile nervously

"I thought so too, it was your idea" In Sung smiled warmly at her

'Which idea of mine is it ?' She was sure if she grabbed a mirror she would see the reddest face she could ever pull

Glancing up she spotted his amused smile
