Good Job / Reward

With much difficulty, Jaejoong pulled open the car door and pushed his legs off the comfortable seats. He pulled his leather bag onto his shoulder with a grunt, cursing at the weight of the luggage he packed himself yesterday morning. After three months of tight schedule, constant lack of sleep and food, and another, last, over-nighter, he finally finished filming his parts for his upcoming drama.

After bidding his manager goodbye, he turned around and walked towards the lift, hearing the sound of the car door shutting and the car driving away. 

It was quiet on a Sunday morning at 8am, without the bustling noises of his fellow residents filling the lifts trying to get to work. The lift arrived quickly, and Jaejoong leaned against the back wall after pressing his apartment’s floor; it was a long way up for him.

Pulling off his sunglasses, he eyed himself at the mirrors that decorated the insides of the lift. There were heavy bags beneath his eyes, and his dark circles are clearly visible. His brown hair was a mess underneath his pulled up black hoodie, overall appearance lacking the stylish gleam star Kim Jaejoong used to hold.

I look like a homeless guy with depression instead of a celebrity. 

The lift sounded announcing the approaching of his floor. The door opened soon after and Jaejoong straightened himself, and dragged his body to one of the two apartment doors on the floor. 

Home at last!

The loud sound of his bedroom door bursting open sounded and he winced unhappily. 

“Joongie, wake up!”

The singer groaned, eyes unwillingly prying open to the smiling face of the love of his life. 

“Come on, Jaejoongie! We must hurry!” His lover ushered, turning around to pull out one of his suitcases from his walk-in closet. He turned to look at the digital clock on his bedside table: 12pm. He cursed and groaned loudly, throwing the duvet over his head, “Yunho, its just 12! I got home at 8 this morning and only managed to sleep by 9, leave me alone!”

At the back of his mind, Jaejoong knows he was being harsh to his lover, but mind muddy with sleep and body dead-tired, he couldn’t help but bursting out in frustration. Being him, although he wanted nothing but to drop cold to the world the moment he came home, he forced himself to take a shower, dry his hair, brush his teeth, and do basic face care before burying himself into the covers one hour after he arrived home.

Nevertheless, the leader did not mind him and Jaejoong could hear his lover running to and fro his walk-in closet, possibly packing his clothes into the suitcase.

“Joongie, we really need to hurry! I know you want to sleep and you could do that on the car, and then on the plane, but first, get up up!” Yunho nudged his body gently, and resumed packing for his older lover.

That caught Jaejoong attention, and he asked, “Plane?! What are you talking about? Where are we going?”
