Chapter 9
Memories of YouWoobin tossed his phone onto the ground.
He felt a movement of the bed covers next to him. A pair of arms smoothly slid onto his chest.
"What are you so pissed about?" a seductive voice whispered.
Woobin leaned his head back on his pillow.
"I don't really think I have to tell you," he muttered.
"Seriously?" the female voice laughed, "And I was thinking I deserved better."
Woobin's eyes met the pale gray ones of his partner.
"Kanako, you stress me out," Woobin sighed and placed his hand gently on her forehead, her bangs.
"Hey," she said, "It's the girl you like, isn't it?"
Woobin glanced over at his phone that was lying on the floor.
"I wouldn't say I like her," he said, "It's the fact she keeps secrets from me."
Woobin wanted to switch the subject.
"But I was surprised with you too. Kanako Amachi, Japan's top model, decides to suddenly appear at my front door, after dumping me on the streets of Tokyo three years ago, and asks if she can crash in my room."
"I just needed a friend," Kanako buried her face into the covers, "I'm going through depression, you know."
Woobin sighed and got up from his bed.
"That's what you get for living the life of a celebrity."
He bent down to retrieve his phone.
"So," Kanako asked him coolly, "What are you going to do with the girl?"
Woobin gave her a sly smile.
"I don't know."
Kanako giggled.
"What? Kim Woobin doesn't know what to do? That's a first."
Woobin reached for his coat in his closet.
As he slid his arms into the sleeves, he said,
"With her, it's just so unpredictable."
