Scenes from a rut
“I’m going to get some snacks. Do you want anything Jeonghan?” Joshua looked at him, with those pretty eyes and pretty mouth that scolded him earlier.
The guests applauded thunderously. Everyone smiled, happy for the bride and the groom. Everyone, except for Joshua. Granted, he faked his smile as best as he could. Even when his heart felt broken in two and the urge to cry and hug himself was damn near killing him, he faked a smile. Faked because of the person who was getting married tonight, Joshua's friend turned lover, Joshua's former lover now.
If he was in the mindset that Joshua’s attention should be purely on him then he’d be that annoying mosquito that never went away. Not until Joshua gave him and looked at Jeonghan like he should.
Joshua’s head followed, his slightly glazed eyes blinking themselves back to sobriety. “A jersey? What’s so special about that.” Jeonghan pinched Shua at the hip, smiling as he elicited a tiny squeal. “It’s who the jersey belongs that makes it so important and special you brat.”
Joshua has heard it a plenty in his life. Despite the new age of thinking and how people tried not to put such an emphasis on secondary genders, he couldn’t stop the slight pang when he heard those damn words. “Betas are nothing special.” So why the hell was this Alpha following him around!
“Newbies? Seniors? Juniors?” “Seniors,” Vernon threw in. “Juniors,” Jun said. “Newbies,” Jeonghan said evenly, eyes lighting up as a fresh-faced bunch of kids came into the room. Everyone owed him now.
4 scenes where Jeonghan and Joshua called each other a pet name.
“You’re like a cat,” Joshua laughed, running his hand through Jeonghan’s hair.
Slowly, Jeonghan slipped it on. “It’s a ring I’m giving to you.” He smirked. “Don’t go losing it now. Take good care of it.”
Extras for all of my current stories. Doing a little anniversary celebration as it's coming up for me. Ch 3: Send me a love letter extra
They made a promise on blood to always find each other. Joshua broke the tie after so many lifetimes of Jeonghan being with someone else. But as Fate said, "He can come after you. Instinct may lead him to you no matter if you severed your side of the tie." Jeonghan doesn't know why he's so interested in professor who teaches magical history and theory, not when he teaches science for crying out loud. But he can't help but want to know more.
“I do like it when you’re a tease.”
There were never enough words, never the right words. Too many ways to say I love you and yet never the ones I want.
He jabbed a finger in Jeonghan’s direction, “No more kissing until I feel like you’re sufficiently punished for what you did.”
“You can’t have the Hong heir,” his father snapped. Eyes blazing, he scowled. “That omega isn’t worthy of your time!”
“The twins are here,” Mingyu hissed. “What about them,” Joshua huffed, stirring the batter for the muffins. “They won’t let anyone take their order,” Mingyu whined. “They’re looking for a certain someone.”
Joshua laughed and leaned into Jeonghan. He was clearly drunk and wanting love.
Throwing Joshua a smile, Jeonghan grabbed his hand, lacing his fingers in between Joshua’s. “Light as a snowflake,” he whispered, moving in so his lips were centimeters away. “Will you grant me kiss baby?” “Yea,” Joshua whispered back, leaning in the rest of way.
“Yoon Jeonghan,” Joshua sounded out, clutching at the roses like a lifeline. “Don’t wear out my name beautiful,” he said with a wink. “You can call me baby, darling, honey, or whatever else you need to.” Where Joshua hires an to be his date for a rather important wedding
Jeonghan was a very naughty kitty. One that Joshua loved.
