They walked among the guests, around the dancers, almost captivated by each other. Neither noticed the other glancing at them slyly as they talked... They talked about everything, and nothing at the same time, filling up the silence of the field away from the wedding, away from the fairylights and candles. There was something about weddings that made them seem timeless, Minghao thought. But maybe that was because he’d never have one.
