spring day

"Hm, you wanna see this?" The blonde turned to the other blonde, scrolling aimlessly on her phone.

"What about it, Byul?"

"Well," Yoonbyul shrugged. "I want something more... spring, so what do you think about this, Ji?"

Jiae listened intently to the sample. Yoonbyul may have sounded a little ridiculous at times, but the track she came up with mostly sounded decent. Jiae took off her headphones, and glanced at the expectant Yoonbyul.

"I haven't really seen you make bubblegum pop, but I think it's pretty good for a first try." Jiae nodded.

"Oh, anything I could do to improve?" Yoonbyul nodded. Jiae saw she seemed to have deflate, if such physical capability is even possible within the limit of the human body.  Then again, Yoonbyul hasn't been seen in the vicinity of the dorm in the last two days.

"I'm not too sure?" Jiae said, slightly cringing when she heard the downcast voice of Yoonbyul. Quietly, she contemplated on her next words; one more mistake and she'll see actual waterworks in the making.

"Umm, maybe something that sounded more authentic and original?" Jiae cringed to death. If any producer in ANMO had heard her speak like this, it would have made her the joke of a lifetime.

"Original? Like, natural?"

"Yeah! That word. More spring-like?"

"Oh!" Yoonbyul suddenly sat up from her chair. Even Jiae was caught off guard from the sheer mood change, subtly moving her chair a little to the back.

"Hmm, I was thinking—maybe something that makes you feel like the blue sky, or the blooming flowers and the nice wind—something like a sakura tree thing then? Hmm, or the pastel feeling that you get? I was thinking more synth and bell chimes—"

"How much coffee did you drink the past two days, honestly?" Jiae said.

"Uhm, seven today? Anyway, can you give me ideas on how rustling flowers sounded?"

Jiae had sworn herself that she's going to regret this.

"Three members altogether?" He turned to her.

"Yeah, I feelt it was more balanced and appropriate, considering  their skills." Aeran said, as the two walked on the park. The air had felt nice and clean, something sorely missed at the central of Seoul.

"True," He nodded. "I was wondering why you'd pick Choseung and Jiae, however. You had decent singers and dancers too."

"I was surprised you balked at the choices I made." Aeran turned to him, raising her eyebrows.

"I have common sense." He said. Aeran chuckled at that notion, and she spotted a nice bench around the area. Noticing her head turning, he scurried there too.

"It's a very you thing to say that and it makes a lot of sense but," Aeran said. "talent doesn't purely lie in being able to sing or rap."

"To be honest, if it's not even a bad girl/good girl concept, you don't really need rappers."

"I pick Hana and Yoonbyul because they're good at what they're doing," Aeran said. "although one of them could outdo you someday."

"Surely." He scoffed. "what about the other two?"

"Choseung and Jiae? You don't always need very talented members, but you'll need people who are good at entertainment—or, I liked them enough for their special factor. But that explanation wouldn't suffice for you, does it? To the least of it, they're good dancers."

"Yeah," He nodded. "if you're going to make a girl group with that kind of release even I'm going to have questions."

"That's good for you to doubt." She chuckled.

"This is annoying." She muttered under her breath. She quietly turned to see her blond member discussing it with a brunette woman with checkered plaids; and this isn't the first time she'd seen this woman wore the same plaid of the same pattern.

Choseung just scrunched at the possible outcome of having those kind of dressing habits. Is being a producer hard? Remembering how quiet the dorm has been the past few days and how Yoonbyul is practically the queen of her own kingdom for the last five days, Choseung cringed. Workaholics.

"Just focus on your parts, you giant baby. You sounded like a broken radio already." Jiae muttered. Choseung pouted, and turned back to her paper.

After a while, the brunette nodded at the blonde girl, and left the studio. Yoonbyul turned to the girls, smiling brightly.

"Is the song finished already, Byul-unnie?" Choseung asked.

"Yes! Oh, and producer-unnie really liked the release, and now we just have to record our parts and then film the MV later on this Friday, and then we're done! Gosh, it's been quite a while—"

"Okay, we totally get it now. Thanks, unnie." Choseung rapidly nodded, turning back to the paper. Jiae just chuckled.

"Sorry to keep you guys waiting." Yoonbyul smiled sheepishly.

"It's fine. It was kinda an annoyingly long time, but I still love you and you did well." Choseung pulled Yoonbyul close to a hug, and Yoonbyul returned it. Jiae stared back at Choseung with a disbelieving look, but Choseung shrugged at that.

"How about we get some nice dessert at the coffee shop after we're done practicing?" Jiae said.

"It's expensive." Choseung pouted.

"My treat."

"You sure?" Choseung raised her eyebrows, and Jiae scrunched her face at that moment.

"Oh, absolutely, just for our hard working Yoonbyul. Not you." Jiae shrugged.

"Hey!" Choseung pouted. "I worked hard too."

"You both worked hard!" Yoonbyul laughed loudly. "Come on, we can go now. Oh, I was also thinking we could go downtown and look for some clothes at the thrift store, and then—"

"I think you need sleep more than all of us after this, Byul-unnie." Choseung patted Yoonbyul's head sympathetically.

we're slowly releasing more teasers until the final lineup is revealed (which should be really soon). also, i've decided about jiae's faceclaim and the backstory of anmo (which... is very important lol) is almost solid, so non-member chapters should be very interesting (and darker. i've hit the limit of my sub-funny bone). which... should be in the next teaser.

question:
1) what would you like to see more in the upcoming chapters?
2) (for those who never specifiy it) what's their height and weight lol sorry i forgot to add that
