teaser 1.

They said a dream is speaking to you.

Jiae breathed in heavily. The sudden jerk made her head pound. and the immediate clutch from her hands barely helped either. She silently rubbed her shoulders, and looked around. Almost nothing is there but her own bed and an old mahogany wardrobe.

So you do listen carefully, young one.

She sighed. It's been only a few days since she had her own apartment, her own room, and her own personal space. Her own breath. All of her own, no longer cramped with seven others who barely know each other.

You're now all alone, all because of your little temper.

Jiae smiled bitterly. She could have just not lost it in front of the older trainee, but she did anyway. She shouldn't, but she did. Not much could be said about it. But not much could be done to turn back time either.

Their time is nearer, and there is nothing you could do about it.

Jiae didn't remember why she ended up awake. Dreams don't last longer than usual, and so does this one. They can went from a bit uncomfortable to straight-out weird, and this one also came about the same.

They've fallen. Same as he would be.

Jiae's breath hitched. Something became clearer to her now; their screams echoed through her body, hands trying to outreach to something, or someone, just at her direction. Just away, far from the gaping black hole that tried to take over them.

Just like before.

Jiae jumped from her bedroom, and ran across to the old wardrobe. She harshly pulled open the clothes and removed them all. Not all of them are hers, but she couldn't care less about it. Cold sweat ran through her body, and her hands became increasingly shaky as she threw away the pieces of garments.

Why are you still trying?

She remembered the girls' smiles. They're only minutes away when they heard their debut showcase announcement. She remembered their shouts. Someone said something really wrong, and others weren't having it. She remembered their tired, sweaty faces. Hours before their debut and they didn't sleep.

They're hopeless cause.

She saw the tears. Being with each other constantly, the hours wasted on their works, and the possibility of making money not coming true, and general anxiety. Everybody's worried about money running low, but now it just seemed to be a real problem.

You made it that way.

Her eyes became hot and watery. Jiae's hands slowed down, and then, she became completely still. The sensation of her cheeks being wet has become so unfamiliar to her. It's not comfortable, but she couldn't help but start vigorously wiping them away.

Why are you still trying?

"I'm not." And worst of all, was their upset faces. She signed her termination contract, and agreed to go to their separate ways. She knew well that the shock still came over to them, as it wasn't completely gone either, but what scared Jiae the most must have been the sheer lack of emotion from their faces. Either they knew it all too well, or they were too surprised to actually said anything.

Jiae looked again to the wardrobe. It's all messed up with her clothes, piled and let off all over the floor. But at the bottom of the brown mahogany, lies a silvery box. Jiae slowly crawled nearer to the wardrobe, and picked it up.

"Still trying?"

although individual teasers have always been rather idol-esque, there is a very 'unnatural' element playing around. of course, it would follow on about EMANON's journey, so it's not as heavy as this implied. the reason why i put this separately was because it focuses on the main storyline first. as the story goes on, there would be more hints appearing, so keep an eagle eye on the sentences, and stay tuned.

and honestly, i really want to start the fic really soon, so please submit your apps fast. deadline would be established once all seven plotlines are filled out.
