- Chatterbox : pretty self-explanatory, it's because he simply cannot shut up, even if there is a language barrier in place.
- Cheetah cub : while zoren is a raven, fans will start to call Beam a cheetah cub, because of his cuteness, slim body but also because he still has a lot to learn.

Birthplace : Bangkok, Thailand
Hometown : Bangkok, Thailand

Languages
- Thai : 100% : his native language, he tends to speak quickly so non-native speakers have a hard time following

- Korean : 15% : Beam has only been in Korea for two months at most, so his Korean is still just the basics. He will improve a lot throughout the show though, since he is smart and got a lot of help.

001

Faceclaim : Xikers' Hunter
Back-up : here

Height : 185 cm
Weight : 62 kg

Appearance : Beam is a tall, slim boy who can't always control his limbs properly yet, since he got the growth spurt only last year. He got a very cute, gentle face with downturned eyes and soft lips. His cheeks are painted with an almost permanent pink blush, and he becomes red quite quick. If he's not flushed in any way, it means he is seriously sick.

Fashion : Beam really loves baggy, colorful streatwear. He almost never wears black in comparison to groupmate Zoren. He's often found in light jean shorts, colorful socks and a baggy graphic tee or jersey. He loves being comfortable and isn't really fond of tight clothes. Tops are passable, but tight pants are his biggest enemy. He's quite insecure about his thin thighs, so he hides them in big shorts or cargos.

PERSONALITY

- (+) optimistic, cheerful, courageous, compassionate, clever
- (0) talkative
- (-) blunt, childish, clumsy, foolish, forgetful

Optimistic and cheerful: Beam is a very bright personality. He always sees the glass half full (even if its actually three quarters empty) and even through many sorrows and battling loneliness, he will almost always show a smile. Beam isn't always smiling, however, but part about his charms is that he can push past his sadness quick and keep on fighting for what he loves. He is one of the happy viruses of the show and will probably get attention for his adorable smile and sunny disposition. Whenever someone else on the show is sad, he will jump in to help cheer them up and try his best to give some good advice and encouraging words with his broken Korean.

Courageous: this young boy has a lot of courage for his age. Sometimes it even leans into recklessness. Whenever they need to do something scary, Beam will always volunteer to be the first one to do it so he can show the others that it really isn't that bad. He's not afraid of taking risks, experiencing danger and combatting his fears. While he looks like the type who would get jumpscared easily, it is rare that you get a shriek out of him. Among the squad of younglings, he will be the pillar that protexts them all, especially the more timid ones. He will dare to stand up against anyone, no matter how much seniority they have, or how big and strong they are.

Compassionate: Beam looks out for others whenever he can. He always puts others first and will sacrifice lines and spotlight for other people. Not only because he thinks he doesn't deserve them, but also because he wants to help them get attention. He will get good screentime, but he will use that time trying to push lesser popular contestants into the screentime with him. Whenever anyone is sad, his little heart breaks as well. He's usually sadder for others than for himself. When he gets a D grade, Beam will accept it, but when Zoren gets one as well, he will be shattered.

Clever but foolish: while he looks a bit sluggish, Beam is actually a smart guy. He learns things quickly and will pick up many new skills on the show, and he can easily come up with unique things for a stage performance or a solution for problems. But the issue is that Beam is what they say 'book smart', but his judgement is really poor. That is how he got into this mess. Both his courage and innocent friendliness can get Beam into trouble. He doesn't always judge risks accurately, or gets with the wrong people, thinking they're absolutely fine. Others have to constantly get this guy out of trouble, even though he's probably the most clever. Judging is just not his strong suit. He usually doesn't really overthink or judge at all before jumping into something new.

Talkative and blunt: Beam loves talking. There's not much that he loves more than talking. He's a big yapper and people are surprised why his cheeks don't get sore on the daily because of his constant mouth moving. More often than not, Beam got a sore throat because he talks and screams too much. He really needs to learn how to take care of his voice but so far, he hasn't really needed it to sing yet so he never did. Because of all this yapping and this lack of judgement he has, Beam sometimes says things that he didn't really think over. He's awfully blunt and while he never really means anything bad, it still can come across as mean to others. He gets shocked and shuts himself up when he discovers it himself, and will apologize profusely if he ever hurts people with his words. Some people do want to sew his mouth shut, and it's not because he's not the best singer.

childish: Beam was a spoiled only child as a kid. Because of this, he got this childish, naive mind, but he's not a rude spoiled child. Beam often gets emotional when something hurts him and sobs from the smallest pain, to only get back up later in a minute and be completely fine. He also argues like a child if he does ever get mad, and it's absolutely hilarious. He got this innocence to him, but he himself doesn't like it, he wishes he could be more mature like Zoren. You still got some growing to do (mentally), child.

Clumsy and forgetful: Another thing from this immature mind is that Beam still doesn't really know how to control his body and brain. He only got his growth spurt last year, but his mind hasn't fully adjusted to this tall, skinny body yet, resulting in many trips, falls and item drops. You can almost guarantee that he will sprain his ankle at one point during the show. Not because he trips during dancing, but because he tripped over his own feet while being distracted by Koi, or something. He's also quite forgetful. Again, book smart only. His mind is a cheese with many, many holes. When Beam is focusing on one thing, he forgets everything else. His brain is very out of sight, out of mind, so when he reminds himself at the practice room that he needs to do something when he returns back to the dorm, that thought will be gone once he leaves the practice room. He also often forgets requests, promises and tasks, even though he never really wants to. He has learned to write it all down in a notebook so he can remember everything and do right for everyone else.

BACKGROUND

Beam Chaiya Kawarek was born as the only child from a quite wealthy family. His parents were new, modern wealth, making it all work themselves by establishing businesses out of their passions. They always considered themselves very lucky that they managed to make it this far. They decided to just have one kid that they could pour all their love, knowledge and life lessons into to ensure that they can be succesful in life. And so Beam was born.

As a child, Beam was very loved, popular and quite spoiled. But despite all of this luxury, they also ensured to teach Beam that he should value everything and everyone he has, and that not everyone is lucky like him. So the boy grew into an adorable, sweet and compassionate child. He was put into a private school where there were a lot of kids that were of the same health, and he was the kindest, most down to earth of them all. He never had a feeling of superiority towards kids that had it off worse, and he welcomed anyone into his friend circle, except for mean kids.

His parents always told Beam that they would support him in any way regardless of what he ended up picking as a profession once he grew up, but they also pressured him to really throw himself at it, and to not half anything. As a result, Beam was at the top of his class, and was even the class president through most of his school years. But so far, he hadn't really found a dream to pursue yet.

In elementary school, Beam was classmates with a particular rich girl, who was a bit spoiled but friendly nontheless. She went by the name of Princess, probably just as fitting of a name for her as Beam is for our sunny little ray of sunshine. Once at a school fair, she performed a ballet performance with her club, and it stuck with Beam. Dancing was so cool, but he didn't really want to do ballet, but he wanted to find something else...

Once he became a teen, he discovered B-boying and breakdancing from a random video on youtube, and Beam was fascinated. He immediately started to do that, and learned a lot of tricks, but asides from those, he would always struggle with learning regular choreography. He was the one who would spin on his head and jump around, but a basic body roll was hard to execute. On top of dancing, Beam also discovered kpop and found the energy of it all extremely cool. He all discovered this through Produce 101 season 2. His favourite group at first was Wanna One, of course, but once they disbanded, he turned his attention towards Oneus, SF9 and Ateez.

Beam knew that there were thai idols in the industry, and he knew that his friend, Princess, was loudly dreaming of doing that herself (and becoming Hoshi's girlfriend), but Beam never dared of dreaming that he would be one himself one day. But that all changed in the spring of 2021, when he was taken on a holiday to South Korea with his parents, wanting to discover the country and possibly view some artists live. He didn't expect that his holiday would be extended.

While in the streets of Hongdae, just playing tourist with his parents, a company official approached Beam and scouted him. Beam was immediately sold with his poor judgement, but his parents were suspicious of the guy. He revealed himself to be a scouter for Choeun, and praised Beam's looks and height. The guy offered up a really good looking contract, one so good that even his parents got convinced that this was a legit and good deal. He would be trained adequately, debut with a new group with other people his age and achieve success. But in the end, Beam fell into the same scam as Zoren did. Beam could hold a note, but had obviously never had any vocal training, and he still had issues with choreography, but he was a fighter. He trained separately until after just a week, he got the news that he was being added to 2LITE. He was flabbergasted, but excited, not thinking much of it. But when he entered the room with the other members, things quickly turned around.

There were Kitae, Siyoon and Zoren. Siyoon was almost never present due to his other activities, Zoren was friendly, but held back because of his shyness, and Kitae was just ice cold, often not even saying hi to the boy. They were all much older than him, and Beam often voluntarily did chores in the dorm to try and get on their good side. Siyoon and Zoren would ensure him that he didn't have to do such things, but Beam was still afraid of Kitae.

His time in the dorm didn't last long either, because he was immediately thrown into Genesis88 as Siyoon's official replacement. Being totally underprepared and Kitae forcing him to sing and do a difficult choreo without giving him any time to adjust, the boy was terrified. He would look like he was half assing the show, which is something he was teached to never do.

Quotes :
- here
- Optional but much appreciated!

Hello, please introduce yourself : hi there! I'm Beam from Thailand! It's awesome to be here! How are you? I hope you're doing good!

What is your reason for joining the show? : My group is here, and I got added because one of them couldn't make it. Wait- Am I not allowed to say that? Uhh... I'm here because I want to prove myself! Well, that's also true, but the first reason is the main one.

What do you consider your strengths? : I don't have much skills yet, but my strength is my work ethic, kindness and desire to work hard and improve.

Is there anything new you want to try on the show? : Well, is it weird to say that everything here will be kind of new to me? I want to discover all about the idol world and meet many new people!! Can you tell that I'm not really experienced yet...?

What is your view on Genesis88? : It could be my group's savior, and it also is a place to prove yourself and work hard as a trainee. I was a big fan of produce 101 season 2, and many of the trainees debuted after that, succesful or not... They still could achieve their dreams.

Would you ever try to compete for the center or leader role? : Oh no, not at all, I am not deserving of these things yet! Just let me learn my things and support the more experienced trainees that deserve these roles.

And finally, what advice would you have for your younger self that's about to audition for the first time? : Uh... This is quite a hard question, because I didn't ever audition, and that past self was only like... three weeks ago? I don't know-

Relationships :

- cold leader : Seo Kitae / leader of 2LITE, fellow contestant / apathetic, determined, cold / 10%
Kitae has never given Beam any light of day. Beam expected him to be kinder towards the more experienced Zoren, but he is treated just as badly. Beam does not like Kitae, and while he is intimidated and still wants to get on the man's good side, that is solely because of his status as leader and much older guy. If Beam wasn't such a respectful child, Kitae wouldn't get anything from him. He's given up on this group and doesn't work for it at all and that ticks Beam off to no end. (Boys republic's Minsu)

- sweet hyung : Zoren Ajero / member of 2LITE, fellow contestant / caring, shy, respectful / 60% (for now)
While they're still a bit awkward at the moment because of the language barrier and shyness on Zoren's end, they're kind of partners in this situation, and greatly care for each other. Zoren is such a ball of talent, Beam greatly admires him and if he is ever asked to bring up his role model, Zoren would be among the ones mentioned despite their short time of knowing each other. Zoren just shares a lot of values and passion with Beam, and he really loves that about the older guy. Zoren feels bad for this kid, since he's much younger and Kitae treats him even worse, so he decided to take this child under his wings. They're friendly at the moment, but by the end of Genesis88, Beam will be Zoren's sweet little chatterbox of a brother. (fc if they have one)

- previous classmate : princess linchee kanlayasarairat / fellow contestant / spoiled, sassy, sweet (?) / 70%
Beam and Princess have been classmates since elementary, and until Princess suddenly left for Korea. Beam thought she was just on exchange, and didn't expect to meet her on this survival show. But they're both excited to have an old friend around. At first, Princess didn't like beam, but throughout the years, they grew close. Princess often teases Beam, but also keeps an eye out for him, and helps him regularly on the show. (4eve's aheye)

- role model : koi pattamawan chittsawangdee / member of Ultraviolet, fellow contestant / hard worker, slow witted, silly / 55% (for now)
Beam is a fan of ultraviolet because of Koi, and he will freak out once they show up on Genesis88. Koi is a fun, hard working dancer from Thailand and Beam admires her a lot. Once he started training himself, he would always tell Zoren that he wants to be like Koi once he debuts. She often does long hours at the dance studio and is an incredible dancer in many styles, and on top of that she has a personality that works really well with Beam's. In short, she's everything that Beam likes about a person, and out of the admiration and future friendship, Beam might even develop a puppy crush on the older girl, which Youngsun is very suspicious about (she knows before he does lol). But for now, nothing will come of it because Beam doesn't want to date, and Koi is this older active idol so he doesn't want to be in her way. (Kiss of life's Natty)

Stagename : Beam 빔

Group name : 2LITE
Brief group history : 2LITE is a big mess of a group, more like different pieces of a group that's glued together by a toddler. Out of the original lineup, only Kitae is still left. Jasper was the original leader despite not being the oldest, and he still feels more like a leader than Kitae despite him not being allowed to really talk to the current members. They were floating by, Super fly gaining some good popularity internationally. But they were managed horribly so all the popularity they got was fumbled by Choeun.

The first time they really made waves was when Jasper and another member named Jisoo joined Produce 101 season 2. Jasper debuted in Wanna one while Jisoo made top 35. They all got hope, but the group didnt realise they'd never get Jasper back. After that, Yonggi and another member named Taerae joined The Unit. Yonggi got 3rd place and joined UNB, but Taerae placed 10th.

Check out Zoren's app for the general member timeline.

Notable songs
- Beam has not released any songs with 2LITE yet.

Group twin : 24K (before the rebrand)

Position : he literally has none assigned yet
Talent twin : the boyz' haknyeon (p101s2 era)

Trainee and/or idol life
It's been two weeks since he began training before the show starts recording, so he barely has had anything. He can kind of sing on tune but it's definitely not good enough to cover the vocal lines of one of the most incredible main vocalists in boy group history. He also still has a hard time learning choreography, but this will improve. Beam is a very hard worker and often would just practice by himself or with Zoren because of a lack of proper lessons from Choeun.

Life on Genesis88
It's a journey of learning for Beam as he builds the foundation of his idol skillset. He will learn basically everything on this show, Korean, singing, choreographies and how to learn them and how to act as an idol. Beam will be a pitied but loved child, and many of the other contestants will be willing to help him, teach him valuable things and just offer some love for when Beam gets worried. He will be notable for both his cute personality and massive improvement, and will be partnering up a lot with Zoren and Princess (and potentially Koi if he manages to build up courage to ask). He will also hang around a lot with Haein and the rest of the 05 squad, dubbed the baby roosters.

The audition : The audition was horrible. Kitae decided that they would perform B.A.P's One shot Asides from Kitae, only Zoren kinda fit that song, and they literally had no vocals to carry Daehyun and Youngjae's lines. While the leader was unbothered and really didn't want to be there, Beam and Zoren were both nervous wrecks.

When the audition began, Zoren started the song off, as he was the low voice guy of the group. He started well, dancing, spitting his bars, but in line 3, he messed up the lyrics. Because of that, his performance completely crashed. He tried his best to recover but he couldn't, causing poor Zoren to panick and start messing up the choreography as well. It didn't help that the whole first minute of the song was only him. He only managed to recover himself a bit near the end.

Kitae gave a very lame performance without enthusiasm. Beam was very enthusiastic, but his dancing wasn't on point and since he got all the vocal lines, he couldn't hit the notes well. The only part where Beam was actually a stand-out was during the floorwork of the choreography, and he did get praise for that.

It was an overall mess and they got a lot of negative comments, but the mentors also showed pity for zoren and beam. They were not offered any more opportunities to redeem themselves because they weren't in the right mental state to do so.
