A broken group and an extra babie
2LITE is a group that, while unknown, has been going strong since 2012. Well, they're more like a walking corpse of a group, but their company likes to believe that they can keep hanging on to this name. With more former members than current ones, a fandom thats 90% akgaes and a strained relationship between the members, it's pretty wild that this group has not disbanded yet.
Instead of freeing the members, Choeun starts replacing old members with new fresh faced foreigners in the hopes to have an excuse to go promote in their homecountry. Zoren and Beam aren't welcome, however. With the group falling apart, the older members really don't want to deal with the company's bull, and the foreigners are collateral damage. At least Zoren has heaps of talent, knows korean and has been in one comeback, but Beam only got added to the group like 10 seconds ago, because they really wanted him in Genesis88. The poor child doesn't even know what his position is yet. He expected to be training for at least a year and suddenly he's caught in this mess of a group full of drama between people that aren't from his kpop generation.
2LITE was able to receive a sprinkle of hope when two of the members went on produce 101 season 2, and they did really well. One even went to debut with wanna one (replacing Jisung). Unfortunately, after that, the second member left, and the one that was in wanna one was never allowed to speak of 2LITE again by Choeun, because of his newfound popularity. 2LITE was just going to drag him down.
After that, another member made it into UNB on The Unit and also disappeared to never return to the group again. But 2LITE seems to be doing good on survival shows, so when Genesis88 announced recruitment, Choeun threw Beam into the group and forced this badly glued together lineup on the show. And as a bonus, they added their best female trainee last minute... Not like they had many of those.
A group with 5 people that all have entirely different concepts and views on the show is bound to be messy.
Kitae wants to leave asap.
Siyoon only wants to gather more fans for his acting career.
Zoren wants to fight but is quite timid among strangers and mentally affected by how he's been treated.
Beam is not survival show ready, not even idol ready and feels lost.
Sumi is perfectly fine, but should've never been thrown into one group with the guys.
Will they be able to fight this uphill battle and get what they want, or will Choeun and 2LITE go down in flames, finally? (well Choeun will go down in flames no matter what cause they STINK)
