PERSONALITY »
Nam Kyunghee is a calm and confident person. She makes her decisions with her brain and not with her heart; she's really reasonable and the type of girl that likes to be independent. She likes keeping things neat and clean and makes her decisions with her brain and not with her heart; she's really reasonable and the type of girl that likes to be independent.
She isn't a person who does much aegyo and uses too much expressions, in fact, her face is often unreadable. Therefore some people's first impression is that she's stuck-up and having an attitude. But this is not the case, she is actually a pretty down-to-earth and hardworking girl. Kyunghee is strict with herself and around strangers she's always very respectful and uses honorifics with everybody.
Once she comes out of her shell, she can be surprisingly blunt. Kyunghee sometimes blurts out things without having even the intention to do so. It takes her some time but once she opens up she can be surprisingly blunt. Her outright, honest answers often cause other people to chuckle since she seems to say things that infringe common manners and the etiquette. The reason why everyone is amused is the way Kyunghee is honest - she doesn't mean to say anything bad, just states her opinion.
Kyunghee is also observant. Since middle school she has that strange liking of psychology and philosophy books and whenever she's bored or waiting she discreetly observes the mimic, gestures, looks and behavior of the people around her and tries to analyze their mood, situation, relationship to other people or their background and personality. Kyunghee usually interprets too much into simple gestures and sometimes her characterizations are wrong but she usually reads the mood well and finds out interesting things easily (like fears, secret relationships, the real self of two-faces people, etc.). The other trainees also vaguely know that she's very attentive and has the ability of 'reading people's minds'.
She possesses an eidetic memory and doesn't forget things easily. If Kyunghee sees a picture she knows weeks later still the smallest details and is able to imagine said picture in her head 1:1. Same goes for everything, really - vocabulary, chess positions, conversations and even dance routines. Kyunghee usually watches someone doing the entire choreography for like 2 - 3 times and she's able to repeat the same steps by heart. But even though she knows how it should look like, her movements aren't immediately fluent or graceful and so she needs a bit longer to learn a choreography.
Usually Kyunghee is happy with her memory, after all she never had to learn much for school but sometimes it gets really annoying. She remembers so many things that she sometimes gets a headache, her brain sometimes recalls memories at the worst times and she sometimes wishes to be more average and forgetful.
BACKGROUND »
Kyunghee was born and raised as an only child in Seoul. She kind of fit into the stereotype of only children - her parents doted on her a lot and treated her like the apple of their eyes. They treated her very well and spend a lot of their time raising her. Kyunghee knew that her mom wished to have a large family and many children and sometimes she felt like her father would have liked to have a strong and manly son. Kyunghee's birth was a problematic one and because of that her mom lost the ability to ever get pregnant again. Luckily, Kyunghee was a healthy baby but since her parents knew that this would be their only child they were very protective and cared a lot about her safety.
Kyunghee's dad had three things that meant the most to him; his wife, his daughter and the small material arts club he owned. He worked there with two employees and all three of them had black belts and the license to teach material arts and his job was to give lessons in Taekwondo and other types of combat. Her mother was soft and a bit worried that her daughter would hurt herself if she learned these fighting methods, too but her father assured her that he won't let their daughter face any potential dangers and so he started to train Kyunghee in matrial arts since young age. Kyunghee inherited exceptional strenght and agility from her father and she was very talented and interested in everything he taught her. She started to go to tournaments at age ten and she won many competitions.
At school she wasn't too popular and she had only few friends but she didn't care much. At least she didn't get bullied. Kyunghee wasn't good in any subject except PE, she was smart but too lazy to do her homework. After all, she wasn't interested in an academical career anyway. Her mom sometimes scolded her a bit but her father was endlessly proud of her. She was pretty happy with her life and had her life planned out - she would be working along with her dad, teaching students material arts until she would inherit the club one day.
With fourteen she won first place at the national U16 tournament for matrial arts (*U16 means for people under sixteen). There she was scouted by the CEO of JTune Camp. Kyunghee never cared much about idols and she was sure that she had no talent for singing but somehow the offer intrigued her. The CEO seemed mysterious and even though she told him that she didn't want to become an idol and only took his business card hesitantly, three days after the tournament she was standing in front of the company, asking whether the trainee offer was still up. She figured out that she could try out trainee life and go back to her material arts if she didn't like it, but in the end she got pretty passionate about debuting.
Her mother was happy when she started training because she thought that Kyunghee started to be more sociable and befriend some other trainees there. Kyunghee stands up every day at 6:30, showers, gets dressed and eats breakfast before going to school. Afterwards she goes directly to the company and trains for some hours. She soon discovered her talent for dancing, because of her memory she learns the steps easily. She usually leaves the company between 18:00 to 20:00PM to go home and do her homework. Kyunghee still does material arts and in fact she started as a trainer for the younger children and beginner at her father's material arts club. It is a perfect job since it keeps her in shape.

LOVE INTEREST » Woo Ji Ho (Zico) - Block B
Zico is someone who has clear goals in mind and is actually very hardworking when it comes to them. However, he is quite lazy about the things he doesn't care about and he's also rather blunt and straightforward and got into trouble for that. He's vey passionate about rapping. He's also smart, talkative and really confident in himself. Other than some idols he doesn't even hide the fact. He can be sweet to the ones he cares but he totally at aegyo. He doesn't like rules and he isn't pretending to be anyone he's not. When he is dating he's a very sweet person who gives a lot of compliments but he's also skinshippy and doesn't like hiding his feelings. Still, his band would be his first priority and he wouldn't have much time for his girlfriend.
I think that finding a video of a Korean dancing to specific themes might be a bit hard, though. Does it have to be a female Korean dancing, or is a male also okay? Girl groups usually have easy choreos (like, could I link a video of Yunho dancing to 'Ballons' as mission?)
