There is one thing that has to be understood regarding Roka. She has spent more time living as an animal than a human, so she doesn't have exactly the personality of a human being. Above all, she was raised as a pet, so her most outstanding feature is her obedience. She knows how to recognize those who rules and she follows orders without asking questions. She doesn't have morality, doesn't know what is good or bad so she doesn't consider those things when she's asked to do something - she just obeys. If her Masters are the ones giving the order, she'll follow blindly this said order, even though sometimes she has this feeling that she shouldn't do it. Fortunately for her, Loki was thoughtful enough not to give her the order to kill when they met in New York, because she wouldn't be able to know if she would have followed it or not. Regarding her fighting skills, she's a very strong person, not only because of her physical aptitudes, but also she never backs down, never gives up. She was raised to give her best, so that's what she does. She'll never stop until her body collapses and even then, she'll try to get back on her feet. She goes up front when they need to fight, she's always on the front line because she knows she's most of the time more dangerous and deadly that her opponents. Besides, it's the only way she can try to protect everyone. She's ready to put her life in danger if it means she can save her loved ones. She has a real confident on her abilities as a fighter and since she saw so many wars and won fights with her Masters, she knows what she can do and always tries to overcome her weaknesses. She's also very good at hiding her sadness and anger. Most of the time, she just keeps them inside, it can blow up sometimes but it's really rare. You'll rarely find her crying as well.
Since she's become human, she developed an endless curiosity, she wants to know everything about the world around her and she likes learning new things, maybe it be about any thing. She's really intelligent and can remember things very easily, though she's absolutely awful when it comes to numbers. She never did maths, so if you ask her to count something, she'll be totally lost. She works a lot when it comes to her studies and she could spent hours working at the library to get her homework done or her thirst of knowledge satisfied. Because she's so curious about the world, she's also very gullible because you can tell her anything and she'll believe it if you don't tell her that it's a joke. People think she's cute and naive, they don't think she actually doesn't know what they're talking about. Also, when she has a question or when she wants to do something, she has absolutely no patience. She wants everything to be done quickly and efficiently, she doesn't like waiting. Regarding relationships, most of the time she avoids people because she doesn't know how to go to them, so she's rather a loner. However, if you go to her, she'll become self-conscious and be very careful of the way she acts so as not to make you hate her. She's not a bad girl and she opens up after some time, you just need to keep talking to her. Just, don't talk about her past. She's really secretive about her past and if you notice, when she talks about her 'false' life, she gives a lot of contradicting informations, or strange things like "Oh, since you were in the US, did you visit LA ?" "LA ? O-Oh yeah, it's really close to New York, I went there everytime !" - which obviously shows she has absolutely no idea about what LA is. Finally, even though she hides her feelings, there are certain things that will eventually trigger a very big reaction : talking about the fact she's not a real human. Being considered as an animal despite all her tries to act like a human really bothers her. She knows she was born as an animal and she likes the fact she's a nine-tailed fox, but she wants to make the most of the gift her Masters gave her and she does her best so that they would not be disappointed in her.
Before anything, a little bit of history is necessary to understand Roka's life. She used to live in a part of the universe composed by one of the Three World Trees in the Universe, which was itself simply called the World Tree as its task was to carry Nine Worlds, all linked by its long roots. On the World Tree, also called Yggdrasil by the inhabitants of the Nine Worlds, lived several people amongst those Nine Worlds : Asgard (World of the Gods) ; Hel (World of the Dead Ones) ; Niflheim (World of Mist & Ice) ; Muspelheim (Word of Fire) ; Jötunheimr (World of the Giants) ; Àlfheimr (World of the Light Elves) ; Svartalfheimr (World of the Dark Elves) ; Vanaheirm (World of the Vanir Gods) ; Midgard (World of the Humans). All words were connected except Midgard, placed in the middle of the schematic Tree, which is separated of it by water where a gigantic snake was living, preventing inhabitants of the eight other Worlds to go in there. The only way to reach it was by the Bifrost, a rainbow bridge, that linked Midgard, the Human World, and Asgard, the Gods' World.
Roka was born amongst the waterfalls of Àlfheimr, the World of the Light Elves. At this period, war was raging between Odin's armies and rebels of Àlfheimr, so there were huge battles in the territory. They ended up fighting in the forest, and soon the rebels started using any kind of tricks to defeat the Asgardians, destroying trees and animals without even realizing it. Soon, Odin's amry won the fight. Thor and his team were on their way to the tents, trying to avoid the fallen trees when suddenly a loud whine was heard in the middle of the fallen branches. Loki and his brother looked at each other and the magician decided to go see what it was. He moved the branches, ready to attack, when he stopped astonished in front of the little white fox cowering in fear and weeping, a bloody leg close to its body. Thor arrived next to his brother and his soldier appearance made the little animal cower even more, trying to hide from them. Loki pushed him away and crouched next to the creature. Hello, little one, do not fear me. Somehow, the little fox felt that the man in front of her didn't mean harm and it came closer. Loki grabbed it carefully, entranced by its beautiful golden eyes and pure white and red fur. He craddled it in his arms just as Odin arrived from the battlefield. The King immediately noticed the baby animal and came closer. He recognized with awe the race of the nine-tailed foxes, a wonderful magical creature considered as a pure majesty among the animals of the Nine World. The sons of Odin immediately brought the little one back to Asgard where their mother took care of it. She told them it was a young female fox and after some researches, Odin proposed to call her 'Roka', which meant 'fox' in one of Midgard's language (Hungarian). They all agreed and adopted Roka as the royal family's pet. At first, it was difficult for her, everything was new and she was just a baby. Loki and Thor spent a lot of time playing with her and petting her, laughing at her cute antics. They lost count of how many times she tried to catch a butterfly just to end up falling on her . Years passed like this, she grew up and as she grew older, new tails starting appearing, an indication that she was close to adult age. She was recognized in Asgard as the pet and symbol of the Royal Family and Odin tattooed Mjölnir's symbol on her leg to show she was linked with them. Although she belonged to the whole family, she spent way more time with the sons than the parents. She took walks with Loki who liked to show her the beauties of Asgard, and Thor played with her to train her and they had a lot of fun. She was an intelligent creature, so she could somehow understand a bit what they were saying, even though she couldn't communicate with them.
However, several years later, when she reached the age of 60, an incident happened. She had grown as a fine seven-tailed fox, taller than a human and bigger than three horses. Slim and agile, she was a beautiful creature and people of Asgard loved seeing her wandering around in the streets. But her size was becoming too much and some people started complaining a bit, even though she was very careful not to hurt anyone. Yet, a few months after her birthday, as she was walking down the stairs of the Palace, a sudden pain struck her back, a pain so strong she let out a yell of agony and shut her eyes tightly. She lost her balance and fell down the stairs, until she fell on the market place, crushing two stands. She yelped in pain and thrashed around, her long tails destroying stands and projecting people around. Scared, she tried to stop moving but the pain was way too strong. The guards, who heard the screams of the inhabitants, immediately thought she had attacked the people so they pushed her outside of the city. She felt arrows pierce her skin and she wailed, then raised her head when she heard her Master Thor's voice. He asked the soldiers to stop attacking her but the disappointment she saw in his eyes as he looked at the damages done struck her more than anything. She gathered her forces and ran away from the city, as far as she could, before finding an abandoned cavern where lied down, her legs giving up under her body. She spent three hours in her agony, a bloody eighth tail appearing next to the others and blood patching her white fur. Weeping, the poor fox felt rejected and lonely. What she didn't know was that Thor was busy screaming after the guards who had attacked her while Loki was searching for her. It took three days for him to finally find the fox. He entered the cavern and his heart ached seeing their precious little (big) friend so sad and hurt. She heard him enter and cowered, afraid of what he could do. But the magician only looked worried about her. He calmly walked next to her. It must have hurt, I am sorry I was not close to you to help you. He petted her calmly, using his magic to take care of her wounds. This night, he slept wrapped in the warmth of her big body, and she felt warmth in her heart again, that her fears were baseless. When they came back to Asgard, the whole family decided that something had to be done. Loki was the first one to bring up the idea. What about using magic to give her a human form ?
It took months for Loki and the Queen to perfect the spell but in the end, they took Roka to a closed space and Frigga petted her head, explaining her what they wanted to do. It was her Masters' wish, so she immediately accepted. It was a long and painful process for everyone but eventually, a young girl was lying in front of them. Frigga immediately ran to cover her body with a blanket and examined her. She was a fine young girl looking like a teenager, a cute pair of white ears and a long white tail. She was perfectly normal and safe, only scared. She was given clothes and the Queen immediately decided to teach her the basic skills she should have. She was taught how to speak, read and write, she learnt a lot of things about the world. She was always eager to learn. Loki was the first one who noticed her magic potential. He started teaching her how to use her magic and he realized she was really talented with that. She started living with them as an Asgardian. It was really funny for her and she really loved this life. Of course, years passed and the incident with Thor happened. She would only weep as her Master was sent away. She was an unfortunate witness of Loki's madness and she didn't like what he was becoming. She was spending more and more time with Heimdall, pleading him to tell her what was happening. She assisted, helpless, at Loki's death and it destroyed her. It was the Queen who brought the idea that she should take a break and go to Midgard to discover this world. It would be a perfect way to forget her sorrow. She immediately accepted and even though Thor was not happy with that, they didn't ask for his opinion. She was sent on Earth with clothes hiding her ears and tail.
It was only two weeks after her arrival that she met Song Joongki and Nick Fury. Apparently, the first one was following her for a while, and the second was the director of an organization called the SHIELD. After he explained that he somehow helped Thor, the girl immediately followed the tall man. She revealed she was from Asgard and also had magical powers, but she kept secret her animal identity. They explained a lot of things about the organization and somehow, the Joongki guy was appointed as her guardian and teacher. He taught her English and tons of things and she absolutely loved her lessons. She grew close to this male, so close that her heart started beating faster when he was close to her. She didn't know what it was at this time, she was not accustomed to human feelings. Besides, she didn't have the time to know what it was that Loki attacked the city of New York, where she was living at this time. Of course, Joongki and she were sent to support the Avengers in the shadows but nothing had prepared Joongki to see the beautiful woman morph into a big white and red eight-tailed fox - while nothing had prepared her to see Loki in front of her. The magician had managed to knock Joongki down for a bit and was as surprised to see his precious pet against him. He slowly walked to her and she sat down, yipping like an excited dog. He petted her, in the middle of the battlefield, hugging her furry form calmly, before leaving rapidly. Needless to say, Roka was interrogated by the SHIELD after the fight. Fortunately for her, Thor was here to explain everything and Roka kept on claiming that she wouldn't join Loki. She didn't agree to his ideas and was ready to prove it. During the next years, she worked for the SHIELD, showing her dedication at protecting Midgard. When Thor appeared again, she didn't even try to go to see him, she asked to be sent somewhere else so as not to have the temptation - which pleased Fury a lot. Finally, this new mission came out : a mutant had supposedly a very particular power and she needed to watch him where he lived, in an Institute for mutant in Korea. If she succeeded, she would become an official agent of the SHIELD. She accepted, and she became Hwang Jieun, a Korean girl who had lived in the US. And here we are.
- Illusion | She is able to create illusions to anyone. Her ability consists on modifying the surroundings and troubling the senses. She can create different kind of illusions : optical illusions (modifying what someone sees, changing the surroundings, changing a person's appearance, showing a big creature...), auditory illusions (making someone hear something that does not exist, amplifying a sound...), olfactory illusions (troubling the smells...), tactile illusions (making people think something is touching them...). She can also create a false feeling of pain, or a false feeling of not being able to move. The subject tries to move but thinks he can't. She does not have any restriction as what she shows is not real, it is only tricking the mind. She can create illusions to one person up to a group of people, an army if she uses all her concentration and energy. It can affect enemies as well as friends, even herself, and she has the control of any little thing in her illusions. If she focuses her mind on one person, then it will be the only one who will see and/or feel the illusion.
- Shapeshifting | Since she is similar to an Earth's Korean Gumiho, she has 2 forms : human and fox. Shifting doesn't use her energy as it is a part of her being. Also, since she was born as a fox and she became human only thanks to magic, when she becomes human, she still has ears and tails. Or to be more precise, she has white fox ears with red tips and only one red and white tail stays. Her nine-tailed fox appearance is actually quite big, her height is about one human and a half tall. As she was born as a fox, even as human she has the abilities of a fox : big strength, very good sense of smell and hearing and a great agility.
- Spirit possession | She has the ability to take control and inhabit the body of an individual. It can be an enemy or a friend, she can enter their body and control them. However, if her possession is hurt, she will have the same wounds ; and if the being is killed, she'll leave its body and die a few moments later if not immediately. She can maintain her possession during a certain amount of time which varies depending on the strength of the person. If it's a really powerful creature, then her possession will last only some seconds, while if it's a weak one, it can last several minutes.
- Pyrokinesis | As she is a creature of Fire, she is able to create and control fire, but she does not master it at all. In fast, saying she is able to control fire is a HUGE word. For the moment, all her attempts to use fire were a failure as she can't manipulate fire more than 5 seconds, and sometimes less. She tries harder and harder, but her use of fire is worse than a child's. But she knows she can use it, so she practices a lot.
- one: Fire. She's a fire creature, so she likes being warm and being close to fire. She also loves the smell of fire.
- two: Raw meat. Ok, let's not forget she's a hunter, a canidae. She needs meat, and if it's raw it's even better !
- three: Animes. She discovered that when Joongki was teaching her things about Asian culture and she absolutely loves them !
- four: Nature. She loves going out for walks or just lie down on the grass and look at the sky, it feels like home. Especially Thunder, actually, since it's the symbol of Thor.
- five: Coffee. She discovered it when she arrived on Midgard and she really fell in love with the sweet taste of a sugary cafe latte.
- one: Vegetables. She can eat some but they're not good ! Especially cabbage. COME ON, IT'S GRASS !!
- two: Cats. Yep, rivalry between cats and dogs, it works even with a fox !
- three: Ylvis' song "What does the fox say". Come on, are they serious ? That's not the sound of a fox !!
- four: Rain. It makes you sick, it's cold, it's wet (no, really ?) ! Who could like rain, seriously ?
- five: Tea. She tried once, never again. It's tasteless !!
- one: Being thought as a monster. She knows she was born as an animal and she didn't choose to be able to become human, but she would like being considered at least 'humanoid'.
- two: Losing her Masters. They raised her up, made her grow up as a fine lady and gave her the chance to experience human life. She would die if she had to lose one of them. She already hated the idea of "choosing" a side...
- three: Loud noises. It's so loud and it always startles her, so it starts scaring her as a whole, because her sense of hearing is better than humans'.
- four: Being hated. She just wants people to like her so she does her best, she just hopes it'll be enough...
- five: Hurting innocent people. She's got only eight tails now and she still remembers how she was when the eighth came out. She's really scared that the ninth tail would make her lose control for her body and that her thrashing around would hurt innocent people again.
- one: Observing humans. She's really curious about them
and even though she doesn't ask any question so as not to
blow her cover, she observes them with sparkling eyes. - two: Listening to music from Disney animation movies.
She doesn't know why, but they are maybe the only music
she knows and she finds them brilliant. - three: Jogging. She likes running, it's her way to exercise.
- four: Studying. She's very diligent, intelligent and curious,
she wants to know as many things as possible. - five: Eating. She's a stomach with legs. She can eat
whatever whenever she wants and she'll never be sick !
- one: Playing with her beanie. Not a good habit when she
knows she can't take it off, but she touches it when she's
thinking. - two: Going out for night walks when she can't sleep,
which is quite often. It helps her to calm herself. - three: She curls her tail around something she sleeps.
Usually, it's her own leg but sometimes it's Joongki's. Not
that he ever told her, though. - four: The first thing she does in the morning is going in
the kitchen to drink a glass of cold milk. - five: If she doesn't understand something, she'll lean her
head to the side with a curious gaze. It can happen pretty
often and also for common things !
- one: She her lips a lot.
- two: She doesn't like tying up her hair.
- three: She hides her power of shapshifting. She's known
in the Institute to be able to create illusions, that's all. - four: She keeps on sneezing whenever she smells flour.
- five: She likes sniffing and smelling things, it's just a part
of her, she's a hunter, an animal, so it's totally normal for
her.

Maybe the fact that she's a fox ? Not to be more serious, when she's human, she doesn't really have any particular feature, apart from long ginger hair and dark golden eyes. People think they're lenses and she lets them, they don't need to know they're real eyes. Also, on the crook of her right wrist, she has the same symbol written on Mjölnir, tattooed in black metal ink.
Dress to impress ? Haha, no. She dresses just like everybody - because going out would be totally stupid. She doesn't have a particular type of clothing, though she has distinct features. She always has long and large black pants, no matter the temperature outside, simply because it's the only way she can hide her long ginger and white tail. She ties it around her right leg and the large pants are the only way to hide it. Regarding shoes and tops, sweaters, anything is fine with her. She also always wears a black beanie to hide her fox ears and she takes it away only to sleep or when she's in her room.

Joongki is two people in one body. Just like Jekyll and Hyde, he had two sort of personalities but the one they can see the most is actually Hyde (Xavier actually tried to give him this alias but Joongki refused). He's cold, almost never smiles and is harsh with pretty much everyone. He doesn't show emotions and judges everyone based on a priories. He doesn't try to know people or try to change his opinions, he's extremely stubborn. He thinks he's always right and he doesn't stand people saying he's wrong or disobeying them. He's professional and hardworking, but he also has a very strong pride. He doesn't consider himself working under Fury's orders, and he often looks down at people who want to control him. He's old enough to be everyone's granddad, so it treats everyone like babies. He's hot-headed and often gets into fights, but if he's angry at someone, he won't destroy everything. He's more the calm destructive type. His words are his weapons and his judging eyes are a perfect help to make people feel like crap. He looks dangerous despite his angelic face and he deceives a lot of people like this. He's very intelligent and manipulative, his brain is very well trained and his skills are endless. He likes competition and always tries to be first.
However, behind his cold demeanour lies a scared child. When he was younger, Joongki was carefree and always happy, he loved making people smile and helping everyone. He thought that acting like this was the only way for him not to live again what happened in the laboratory, so he hid deep inside his insecurities and peace. His contact with Roka actually makes him remember these peaceful moments and he finds himself smiling genuinely. If it was all an act to protect his cover, he starts liking playing the boyfriend because he feels like he's going back to what he really is, a childish male would likes showing affection and protection to the ones he loves. He's someone who worries very eaisly and who's scared to lose his loved ones. He's a gentle lover who seeks for attention and affection, for the warmth of a family he's been deprived when he was young. He rarely shows his feelings but he's insecure. He is only a child sobbing in a dark corner, waiting for someone to save him.
Beginning of the mission
Those two are a handful. When they're alone, they can't help being sassy and harsh to each other, especially Joongki. Basically, Joongki is totally open about the fact he doesn't like her and doesn't trust her. He always criticizes what she does, saying that she'll never be enough and that's she just worth being a stupid animal. He keeps on insinuating that she should just go back to Asgard because she doesn't belong on Earth. He always points her failures and weaknesses. She's not particularly bad with him nor criticize him, she just talks back and is sarcastic with him. However, most of the time, she just ignores him and stays silent, just doing what she has to do or creating an illusion of sound to cover his voice without him noticing. She avoids his touch as if it was burning her and also avoids his eyes. To be totally honest, Roka never really hated him. On the contrary, the feelings she developed for him when he was her guardian are still present even though she tries to forget them. The worst in all that is that being a couple is a part of their mission. So as to be able to work together, they were forced to pretend they were a couple so that they would be in the same room. They actually live together, sleep in the same bed but back against back and never touching each other. However, outside of the room, Joongki morphes into a teasing and loving boyfriend. He's always close to her, smiling sweetly at her and stealing 'discreet' glances at her in place, making his close classmates laugh at his cuteness. He takes her hand and kisses her cheek randomly, has a lot of cute attentions. Nobody guesses he's constantly watching her because it's his mission, they all think he's infatuated and when they tell Roka how lucky she is to have such an attentive boyfriend, she just laughes and smiles while her heart breaks more and more. At least, he doesn't flirt with other girls, so she's greatful for that.
Along the mission
When they're not together, Roka actually takes her role of student quite seriously and when she knows her target is sleeping, she often goes to the library to study and read. In class, she's an outstanding student and is praised by her teachers. Joongki noticed that and after a while, he finds himself smiling and remembering the lessons he had with her. He liked her at this time and being a shapeshifter didn't change her personality. More and more, he realizes that his 'boyfriend smiles' are becoming genuine and he truly longs for the moment he can kiss her and hold her. But... it also scares him. She's a monster... right ? His feelings are conflicting and the only way he knows to reject that is to be harsh with the poor girl. Roka quickly cannot handle Joongki's renewed agressivity towards her and she starts rebelling. She starts screaming at him that she knows she's not human, that she knows she'll never be, that she doesn't have to be reminded of that every day. They fight a lot until he sees her break down and turn to someone else. Only one thing echoes in his mind, what have I done ? He's ready to fight this time, to fight for her, to apologize. He tried to steal her attention, he doesn't say harsh words anymore, he congratulates her when she does something good and helps her when she does something wrong. At first, Roka thinks there's something fishy but finally gives him another chance.
Have you ever heard of the story Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde ? Yes ? So you can start imagining how Joongki is and what is his 'power'. When he was 15, in 1950, he got kidnapped - officially, requisitioned - by the Korean army. It was the period of the Korean war and some Korean scientists had heard about a mysterious serum that had created a perfect soldier in America a few years before. They wanted to create this perfect soldier to make a symbol for the Korean population and they searched for a young man that could incarnate the newborn Korea. At this time, Joongki was living as peacefully as possible in a farm, and his parents and he used to give a lot of food to Korean soldiers to try to help them. One day, those soldiers decided to take him with them but of course, his parents refused. The boy was taken away against his will and locked in a cell on the underground of the biggest Korean military base. There, during more than one year, he became the subject of tons of experiments. One of these experiments went wrong. They injected him a product they knew wasn't finished but they thought it would not do anything. However, it did and attacked Joongki's ADN. They could only watch, terrified, as the 16-year-old boy was convulsing, his skin becoming grey and his eyes blue. The furniture started moving by itself and his restraincts somehow exploded. He got up, destroyed the lab in his agony and ran away to a place they wouldn't find him at.
He managed to stay hidden during twenty years. Scared and in pain, he managed to turn back into his original appearance two days after breaking out of the laboratory. His body felt like the heaviest thing on Earth and every movement was a torture for him. But more than this pain, the feelings he was experiencing were the worst. He was absolutely terrified. What had they done to him ? What had he become ? He had hurt those people ! He hadn't killed anyone, thank God, but he had hurt them ! He felt terrible for that - he actually blamed them for everything, even though he knew they were trying to save the country he didn't like it one bit, but they were human beings and that's why he felt bad for hurting those people. He remained hidden and secluded during those twenty years, barely surviving. He realizes in these twenty years that whatever they injected in him slowed down his aging and after twenty years, he still appears as a 19 years old, despite being 36. It also enabled him to move objects or people without touching them. He thought he would stay like all his life, he was terrified and above all, he was lonely. He was scared to go see his parents because what if he became a monster again and attacked them ? Whenever he was feeling something big, he would change and become violent, so he tried to avoid everything. Then one day, he heard a voice in his head. I can help you to control it. You don't have to be afraid, I know you can control this part of you. He thought he was dreaming but a few days later, a man appeared in front of his little hide place and he freaked out. The fear made him morph into this monster and he cowered in a corner of the room, clenching his head in agony. Again, he heard the voice in his head. Do not worry, I don't mean harm. My name is Charles Xavier, I want to help you. Breathe in, you can turn back, I trust you. This low and calm voice actually did something to Joongki and even though he didn't understand everything (the scientists had only taught him basic English), he felt himself become calmer and somehow, he managed to turn back to his original form. He didn't need more to follow the male to America. He became a part of the Institute in 1973 and Xavier took his time to teach him English and basic school skills. He also taught him how to control his powers. After years passed, he started becoming colder and colder, thinking the only solution to be sure he would never morph was to banish any kind of emotion. He had periods when he hated this so-called magic, and despite Xavier's care, he could only think himself as an abomination. Any "non-human being" was an abomination for him. Needless to say, he got into troubles with The Beast, Nightcrawler and Mystique whenever he would see them, constantly reminding them that they had nothing human in them, that they were just monsters. He helped Xavier as a teacher during several years and in 1992, he was recruited by the SHIELD agency who had apparently been surveying them for a while. He joined them and started working for them for several missions.
Finally, he was put in charge of the Avengers' missions along with Phil Coulson and was charged to make research on this Thor guy who had suddenly appeared from nowhere and agitated America in 2011. When the guy left to go back to his other world, Joongki thought he would go back to his peaceful life - however Nick Fury seemed to have another mission for him. He charged him to watch a girl who was supposedly living in New Mexico - or actually, she had just appeared in the desert of New Mexico, not far from where Thor had appeared. He found her and immediately suspected her of coming from Asgard. He reported to Fury who contacted the girl, who seemed scared and lost. After a lot of explanation and coaxing, the girl was sent to the SHIELD HQs and Joongki was appointed to take care of her. Of course, the male refused. I'm too old to be a babysitter ! But it was Nick Fury in front of him, so he had no other choice than to become his guardian. He took his time teaching her how this world worked and it became fun quite rapidly as her intelligent and curious nature always made Joongki smile. They became quite close, close enough for both of them to start seeing each other in a new (romantic ?) light. It wasn't until the next year that things changed. Loki and his sbires attacked New York, so they came to intervene - but Loki's protective attitude towards Jieun raised Joongki's suspicions. Whenever they would fight, Loki would purposedly not attack her and Roka would do the same. It was during one of their fights against the creatures that Roka actually showed her true self, a big nine-tailed fox. Returning to the HQ after the fight, Roka didn't hide her tail nor her ears, seeing as she had revealed everything. She thought it wouldn't change anything - she was wrong. Joongki started treating her like a monster, an animal, kept saying that she was not human and that she would never be. If she tried to think that she didn't mind, his words were true and were hurtful. Despite his protests, Joongki was assigned to be her partner for missions and the two of them started growing apart, in spite of being so close. From attracted friends to so-called enemies, everything became much more complicated. Finally, in 2014, the SHIELD told them that a certain mutant had caught their attention in the Korean branch of Xavier's institute. Sent as an undercover agent, Roka became a student there and had to watch this male student. Officially, Joongki was sent as well to watch if she could complete the mission without help but Roka wasn't stupid. She knew his motives to follow her here were to watch if she was tempted to join the dark forces and follow her master Loki's path. And you know the worst ? Pretending to be a couple was actually a part of the mission. Thank you, Nick Fury.
» how did you find out about your powers?
I didn't really "find out" about my powers, Master Loki gave them to me. When he managed to change me into a human with the help of Master Queen, a part of their magic came into my veins and enabled me to use magic tricks. Master Loki was the first one to notice that I had some potential and he asked me to try to imagine some kind of illusion and I just followed his order ! After this, well he just trained me again and again, that's all. There's no real back story, I'm sorry, it just happened like this ! I was born in a world surrounded by magic so these kinds of things were not unusual or surprising, I'm a magical creature myself, I was just... upgraded.
Why ? Because it is actually the mission that would make me an official agent of the SHIELD. I know that they became kind of worried about me because even though they knew I came from Asgard, they thought I was more on Master Thor's side than Master Loki's. Which is true, but since I can't fight Master Loki they're scared I would join him. So this is a way for me to prove that I want to help humans and not... eat them or something. I know I'm a fox, but it doesn't mean I eat people, 'kay ? So anyway, they thought of it as a sort of 'test mission', if I manage to follow the orders and accomplish the mission without being discovered, I guess I become a member of the SHIELD - finally. So yeah, they had to trick my ID card a bit, I doubt people wouldn't have suspicions if they knew I was more than seventy years old. I still look like a young adult, just like my dear partner. Anyway. So my mission is actually to track a particular mutant whose powers seem to be either dangerous or very interesting, according to which side he chooses. So I have to watch how he controls his powers, how he uses them, discover what he thinks about what's currently happening on Midg-- ermh, Earth, sorry-- and to befriend him and coax him into make him want to help the SHIELD. I think that's pretty much all. Ah, and I'm sure they sent me here because if something happens to me (aka losing control, I guess), Joongki can take over and neutralize me.
I kind of envy them. They're really interesting beings and even though they really look like the Aesirs and the other people living in Asgard, they have a very different aura. Everything is so different about them, I like how they look so serious while driving this big tin cans, how they gather together to drink this thing they call "coffee" and make this beverage different according to their tastes. Who would have thought that adding sugar, milk, cinnamon or chocolate to "coffee" would change the taste so much ? I wouldn't ! They all seem so innocent and naive about what's around them, they like simple things and make the most of every small thing. I really like that. Also, they're all really busy, they don't make banquets, it's such a shame ! I love banquets. Hm ? Mutants ? Ha, human mutants... It took me a while to understand what was a mutant, and I still don't understand. Joongki lost me when he started talking about desoxity... desocitu... deso... that DNA thingy. It's too complicated ! But it's easy to recognize which one is a mutant or not, they have a different smell, I don't know why, they smell like magic. Some of them really smell bad, and some smell really good. Those who control fire smell reaaaaaally good. I really like being with them. Hmm, sorry, I'll focus on the question again. I just... I'm so curious about humans, I don't know a lot of things about them, I want to know more. I really think they're a race worth protecting, I'm really happy Master Thor decided to stop focusing on war and started protecting Midgard. I hope he'll manage to convince Master Loki as well !
SUGGESTIONS: Ok, so I wrote Song Joongki as her love interest, but as I stated in my message, I thought that maybe an applicant could be her love interest. This applicant would actually be the male mutant she is supposed to watch for the SHIELD, and feelings would grow between the two of them. However, the more I wrote about Joongki's character, the less I wanted him to be left out. So I thought that maybe, after being constantly rejected by the agent, there could be some growing feelings between Roka and her "prey" but as he discovers that, Joongki realizes that he doesn't want anyone to touch what's HIS. So he'd fight for his love and so they would live happily ever after. Or not. But still, they would be together and the male applicant would have the love interest he chose. Something like this ?
SCENE REQUEST:
- They would be sleeping and Joongki would wake up face to the girl. She'd be smiling cutely and her ears would be twitching, and Joongki wouldn't be able to help himself and would smile as well, thinking that maybe he likes waking up like this.
- Another day, it would be very late and Joongki would get worried that Roka is still not in their room. He'd search for the girl and would find her in the library, working diligently. He'd remember those times were he was the teacher and she drinking his words, and he'd feel a pang in his heart because he misses those times. That's how he realizes his feelings are changing.
- They would have a huge fight and they would bring up again the fact that she's not human and Roka would blow up, saying she knows she's not and that she can't change and doesn't want to, that as soon as the mission is over, she'll just go back to Asgard and live her normal life. She leaves and runs in a corridor, she doesn't bother hiding her tail and ears because it's the middle of the night. She goes in the park and sits down, she starts crying, her hands covering her fox ears so as to block the sounds. Then the male mutant she's supposed to follow arrives and comforts her, saying he doesn't care about her ears and tail, that he'll keep her secret. Joongki sees the scene and runs away, jealous.
- In the middle of a lesson, Roka would suddenly feel a piercing pain in her lower back and would let out a scream. She'd ask the teacher to go out because she doesn't feel well, she also asks if Joongki can go with her. The teacher laughes but says she doesn't need her lover to go to the infirmary. Joongki can only watch, his face showing only worry and concern, while Roka leaves. She'd fall in the corridor but try to run as fast as she can because she understands it's her ninth tail that is coming out. She realizes she won't be able to make it to the forest and she changes in the schoolyard, her tails moving frankly and crashing on the walls and somehow the students. Hearing the loud roar echoing through the hallways, Joongki stands up and runs off the class, his fear overpowering him and making him change, his skin turning grey and his eyes blue. He runs to the school yard and sees the huge white fox. But somehow, Joongki is more scared for Roka than for what she can cause. He sees the panic in her eyes when she looks at him and he sees that she does her best not to move too much, but he also sees the blood pooling on her back. He uses his magic to force Roka's body down as well as her tails and asks everyone to help. Then he kneels down next to her head and craddles her head on his laps, petting her ears and whispering comforting words to her until she passes out because of the pain. Then they all take care of her and when she wakes up, she avoids everyone, but only one thing reaches her ears, I'm proud of you. You tried your best to protect them despite your pain. I'm sorry... for everything I did. Let me make it up to you. And she looks up to see that Joongki is here, smiling, and she knows he finally accepted her.
- Maybe Fury and Thor could visit with other Avengers/XMen ? And Roka would stayed glued to Thor like a cute puppy and he'd pet her ears gently, laughing at her frankly moving tail while Joongki would be fuming with jealousy ?
