Here's Why AFF Has Been Going Down (And How It Was Fixed)

Short answer: more servers!

Turned out that the servers were dead or dying (hardware fails - it happens) so I moved everything over to a bunch of new servers while getting a few new ones too (just to make sure it happens a little less). We went from three servers to seven so we've got a lot more redundancy now. It took around two weeks and one moment of "oh my god, AFF is printing gibberish!" but we're in good shape again.

The best thing about reading your blog posts and updates and the little hilarious comments. I still remember many years ago when I first started using AFF and there was this update thing where you will write stuff. I read an update about your talking about your birthday and thought you were a twenty something years old kpop fangirl /bricked
