so i was thinking of what genre to label my fic...

i always feel that most of my fics are lacking to be categorized in any genres...

not enough angsty to be angst....nothing fluffy to be fluff, not really romance to be called romance(n i read that one of the traits of romance genre is happy ending, which many of my fics don't have) no action to be called action, not dramatic enough to be drama...same goes with other genres like fantasy/science fiction...even slice of life....not slice of life enough...lol. 

my stories are just...there...a little bit of everything, nothing strong of anything...so most time i'd just tag with the celebs names.

but lately...i'm trying to change the taggings

well, even though tagging with idols name will help their fans to find the stories....it's not like it makes any difference in my situation...whether i have readers or not...it's the same...so...sometimes the feeling of having no stalking reader is better...my feelings always change according to mood anyway...maybe in the future i'd get back to idol name tags or even some stupid random tags for the hell fun of it...playing around with whatever available to be played is fun(uhuh...).

but yeah...it'd be cooler if there can be more than just 7 tags, i like tagging...don't start lecturing me about why 7 tags are enough blarblar though...i've read 'em all...and i still have my own opinion...problem? no rite? ok then move on...

i'm looking up about genres...the more i read about 'em the more i feel that 'wow...wtf do i write? they don't fit in anywhere...just there...'...lol...

then i start looking up this dark romance n dark romanticism. two DIFFERENT genres(wait, is it different? lol)...in my desperate attempt to still add tag despite knowing they don't quite fit...maybe by having these pretty genre tags slapped onto my fic, i can try alter my writing a bit to fit in? idk...who cares? i don't think i'd bother try fitting in...i'm not rule breaker type of person(unless unintentionally..heh)...but in writing...i do think...rules n guidelines/restrictions more often make things dull n generic...especially when it comes to creative aspect. n for me, genre is a sort of limitation as well...even though i do want my stuffs to belong in genres...maybe i'm just indecisive...yeah...

anyway...

After this read (click and read it, it's funny, lol...unless you're a fan of those stuffs)....hmm...i don't think i'd ever want to be associated with the Dark Romance genre...i hope...if that's really what it simply meant...n if that's the impression it gives. in fact, from the novel excerpts....i think at least 50-70% of aff fics i've come across are good enough to publish then if such is the standard...though it probly has nothing to do with standard when it comes to publishing...but rather...you get a publisher to publish for you or not, is all...

Dark romanticism on the other hand, might be more like it...the only problem is...i feel like it's not enough...i touched on the ideology...but i don't think i delved deep enough beyond the surface...hmmmff...oh well...but reading this...suggested that the two genres can be related? or are they?...hmm...ahh, idk...i'm suddenly kind of interested in this...

ah....whatever...idk...i should just get back to writing instead of trying to understand these intelligent things since i don't even read that much...

on a totally unrelated note...(or maybe not that unrelated idk)

i've been listening to this n almost only this since the evening(no thanks to this) even while updating fics n writing this now...

n it's like....screaming at me to get inspired from it and start a new fic? noooo

then i got an idea to write a fic of two people who suspected each other of coming from a different planet than Earth...n try to uncover it...(n maybe one/both/none actually did come from a different planet? omg...) cuz nothing rockz like a direct interpretation...lol.

but then again...no...i don't think it's workable...i'm not good with this sciencefictionish thingy...idk...but mysteries attract me so much lately...-_-...

anyway, if anyone wants to be inspired n write a fic from the song...lemme know...i might be interested to read if i like the idols n characterization n plot(wow, ain't that picky lol...no worries though, i ain't a grammar freak)...am currently trying to translate this song(if i don't get lazy halfway) since nobody did it(ok there's one but i can't really understand it) n i'm trying to get more inpsired?...noooo!!!
