I've watched Japanese dramas, Korean dramas, and now I can add a Taiwanese drama to the list.

Can anything be more important than comics and good food?? Du Kai Chi (Puff Guo) is an independent, single woman who loves comic books and her job as a sous chef in the fine-dining French restaurant, La Maison. When an unassuming man, Fu Zhi Jie (Jasper Liu), moves in next door, they immediately begin to bicker over trivial matters. But when Zhi Jie shows up as a new employee at her restaurant, Kai Chi, as well as other staff members, mistake him for a lowly intern, not knowing that Zhi Jie is a classically trained chef who just returned from France and that La Maison is actually his father’s restaurant. Can Zhi Jie help save Kai Chi from the wrath of the mysterious “Chef Louis”? “Love Myself or You?” also known as “Love Meets Cupid,” is a 2014 Taiwanese drama series.

I don't know what exactly lead me to watch this drama. I think I was sick of the drama I was currently watching (I'll write about it once I finish it) and I wanted to try out another one. I was a little hesitant because it was in Mardarin. I thought it would be weird hearing it. It was at first. I have to read the subtitles carefully because I can't understand even the simpliest words like I can with Japanese and Korean.

I'm glad I started watching it~ It's everything I love in a drama. It's light hearted, hilarious, but can be tragic and dramatic at times. Also it's not too cliche or stupid. (Any drama knows what I mean.) The charater personality are nice as well. The bright colors kind of remind me of Heartstrings. My favorite :D I actually teared up on the second episode. Big surprise there! They waste no time getting to the plot but it wasn't rushed at all.  I'm excited to see where this drama will take me. If this goes well I might even watch more Taiwanese dramas.

The only sad part is that it's a new drama so I have to wait on episodes T_T I have to wait until Friday to see episode 4. I don't usually watch brand new shows because I hate the feeling of waiting but I watched it anyway because I didn't think I would like it. I was SO wrong. Now I'm addicted~ P.S it's a FOOD drama!! Who doesn't like FOOD?? x3
