"Hey Yoonah, what is your writing routine?"

So I got this message and I thought maybe I should share it as a blog post?

i mean I am currently not in any state to write a new chapter 

(and my longer chaped FFs currently on hold)

So yea, those who are interested, here you go:

 

I start with getting a random idea - usually inspired by songs... 

For example, the other day I was listening to VIXX's VoodooDoll album's Secret Night,

and I got this idea about writing about Ravi...

(this one shot is actually finished, but I won't be posting it until I finish my 4 years series)

 

Next, I write out an outline for the story. Usually just a couple sentences for how it goes. 

For example, for the 4 years series, for each year, I only wrote about two or three lines.

e.g. 12, 16. Met daehyun. Daehyun has with J. Daehyun agrees to promise. 

Seriously, that was all I wrote, and look how much I wrote for that chap just from this. Haha

 

Then comes the actually writing, which doesn't actually take too long if I get into it right.

I am a really get in the mood type of person, so I always write with music.

what I do is I play the songs on repeat over and over again when I write, 

u can say I get into the mood of the song wala, I write!

 

for lips and fingertips, I have a couple songs on repeat,

Lately it is from VIXX's Jekyll (repackage) album - G.R.8.U,

along with also VIXX's Rock Your Body album - UUU :) 

they are so sweet and it fits with the fanfic haha

 

for 4 years series, I only listened to one song on constant repeat.

and that is B.A.P's 1004 album - Body & Soul! 

I mean I got the idea for this story from the song 1004 (hence the reference),

but body&soul was what I listened to when I wrote it. 

 

Then I go back and edit some strange parts that didn't make any sense to me 2 days later.

i always try to edit them a couple days later to keep a clear head :) 

and to keep me motivated, I always play VIXX's VoodooDoll album's Beautiful Killer and B.O.D.Y.

 I mean they're suchmgreat songs, they should get more recognition, just like VIXX.

 

so yea, that's about it? 

I mean I usually try to listen to songs from the group I am writing about,

but when I wrote Roomating with ChaHakyeon,

I was listening to EXO-M's XOXO album's My Lady... So...

i guess whatever floats my boat then, yea?

 

i am once again sorry for all the on hold projects lately. 

I am just tired and can't get it right. 

I have gone back to listening to their albums to find another song top lay on repeated I can get I'm the mood,

but so far no luck.... Wish me luck :)
