(+) bubbly, friendly, caring, thoughtful
(bubby & friendly) - Growing up as the youngest child made Soojin to be the bubbly and playful daughter. Ever since she was young, Soojin is the center of attraction of her family. When she was still a young girl, she would dance in front of her family members as they clap and sing along with her. She's that jolly. Soojin intake this attitude until now that she's a teenager, though she doesn't do the dancing in front of their family members anymore.
(caring & thoughtful) - Besides being everyone's friend, Soojin has the caring and thoughtful personality too. She's always ready to help her everyone when they need her, as long as she could do the task. Soojin's also thoughtful of others, if she notices that one of her friends' not feeling good, she would immediately ask them the problem and would take care of them with all her might.
(-) impatient, stingy, sulky, unathletic
(impatient) - Despite being the happy-go-lucky girl, Soojin is very impatient when it comes to waiting, as in literally waiting. She's short-tempered when it comes to this so if ever you made her wait, she would totally sulk on you.
(sulky) - This girl sulks easily too, especially in material things. Since Soojin grew up as the youngest, she got used to getting what she wants and needs fast. If ever not, she would get sulky. Soojin usually shows her sulky personality through isolating herself from the others and ignoring them for the rest of the day until she gets what she wants. Though, there are some people who could to talk her about this and could calm her down, like her mom, her grandma and her manager.
(stingy) - She's also stingy, but only to foods. Soojin started to become like this because of her brother. When they were young, her brother would always gets the snacks her uncles and aunties give her. So ever since, she eats her food secretly so nobody would be able to ask for it.
(unathletic) - Soojin hates sports and games. She admits it and she's proud of it. Her parents even encouraged her to join the school's volleyball but she refused. Honestly, when she was in high school, Soojin always get Cs in P.E. Imagine, P.E.'s the easiest subject yet she hates it.

- Soojin first dreamed of becoming an idol when she was 7 years old. Dancing been's her passion and she wanted to show the world this. At first her Dad was against her auditioning for a training because she was still young. But her mom on the other hand supported her all the way. She was 11 when she first auditioned for SM Entertainment. But unfortunately, she was not accepted. For the second try, she auditioned for JYP Entertainment, and there she was accepted for consideration. Although she's not yet an official trainee, she still kept her hopes up and did not give up. After a few talks about it by the panel, Soojin was finally accepted.
- Her first three months as a trainee in JYP was not that easy. Soojin took a hard time adjusting to everything since she's just a 12 year old kid that time. But she did not let the hardship get into her because she told herself that this has been her dream so she should fight on. As time passed by, Soojin finally got used to the strict schedules, like right after school she would go straight to JYP Building to train. Even in weekends, Soojin reports and attends to her trainors sessions. She did this diligently for 3 years. But the latter years become lighter, for along with Soojin goes her traineemates and trainors who become her family during the trainee days.
- When JYP saw Soojin's progress, they already lined her up as a member of a girl group which they will release after GOT7. But in an unexpected turn of events, JYP producers decided to shift some trainees to Big Hit Entertainment and one of them is Soojin. And so, Soojin was transferred to Big Hit and trained there for another 3 years. As usual, she adjusted to the environment especially knowing that Big Hit is known for their rapping and dancing environment. Fortunately, Soojin qualified to the dancing, eventually learned the rapping and was finally lined up to debut within a girl group.
family life:
- Soojin was the second and youngest born of Lee Soomin, a music producer and Jeon Jinah, a stylist to the KPOP idols. She was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up under her grandma's care, due to the busy schedule of her mom and dad, together with her brother Lee Soonah, who's now a Theatre Actor. You can say that Soojin already grew up fancying the shining world of KPOP because of her family. Actually, before she got in as a trainee in JYP, Soojin's mom would often bring Soojin with her at the broadcasting buildings to show her daughter her work. This actually inspired her to become an idol, when she saw how glamorous the KPOP celebrities were.
- Her parents decided to enter Soojin to an all-girls private middle school near their house to give way to her training sched. Since the schedule in that school fits perfectly for her, she pursued to pass the entrance exam. Luckily, despite being busy in her training, Soojin graduated with honors in that school, she got the 9th place in class. When she reached high school, her parents let her study in Seoul School of Performing Arts, where her brother graduated high school as well.
- Soojin's brother who's 3 years older than her was her guide to becoming a performer. Since he dance, sing and act for the the theatre, Soonah explained to her that being an artist is about entertaining the people. It's to always make your audience enjoy the performance and not because you only want to become popular.
- Among her family members, Soojin's really close with her Grandma, Lee Namjin. Maybe because she's been with her ever since she was born and she's the one who took care of Soojin when her parents were busy working.
