• currently, she stands at 164cm and weighs 52kg.
• she was born with natural black waterfalls hair, and a pair of hazel brown eyes. naturally as a baby, her skin was fair white but because of the l.a weather, her skin became a little tanner than before.

• growing up with her sister and her grandmother made junhee to dress up very simple yet girly. dresses, skirts, gowns, she can be comfortable wearing those. although her personal taste is kinda lazy-ish.

• (+) optimistic - being a happy child ever since she was young, junhee brightly faces all the consequences ahead of her. with her head held high, junhee brawls for life. also maybe because she grew up in a family that always smile that she carried it along with her for her life.
• (+) adaptable - if soojin is to boast one special talent, that would be her fast adaptation. she's a fast learner and she can adjust to her environment well. she can learn what is taught to her only in a few tries.

• est. since 1995 - despite being born and raised in america, junhee yoon grew up under her grandparents conservative ways. it was because of her parents individual works that she and her sister had to be left with their grandparents for most of their time. only during weekends or whenever they get high grades that their parents would treat them to amusement parks or the malls. they might be a middle-class family with a restaurant as a business, but their parents never spoiled junhee and her sister. in fact, they earned the gadgets their parents give them.
• forever, we are young - bullying is quite popular to asians especially when they're attending a school full of western people, just like in junhee's case. junhee experienced being the center of attraction, but in a bad way. they would make fun of her especially of her looks and her being not that tall. however, junhee learned to reason her right. she learned to defend herself even without telling her parents about her experiences, she learned to fight until they stopped, and even if she appeared to be thick-skinned, junhee did everything to earn friends. apparently, she be friended kids of various races who are united by kpop. now, she has her own squad and she's very happy with them.
• I'm a kpop fan! - it was actually her father who introduced junhee to kpop (or to music in general). since he worked with some famous korean producers such as brave brothers, junhee beheld the beautiful world of korean pop music. ever since she could walk, junhee likes to accompany her dad in his studio during summer vacations to watch him work some beats until late night. that was when she fell in love with music, hip hop/rnb music to be specific, and realized her dream to become a singer.

• father — yoon dongjae - 50 - music producer - thoughful, disciplinarian but generous // maybe because she's the youngest daughter that's why junhee is quite their father's favorite. he taught her how to play the piano, and taught her how to sing. she's very open when it comes to hugging him even in public. she likes showing off her father to her friends too, telling them how he produced some of the hit kpop songs.
• mother — han soonyoung - 47 - senior writer of a style magazine - strict, calm, caring // mrs yoon is the teacher you wish you have in high school. she's very calm when it comes to handling things and that's what junhee admires most about her mother. she would fix her food for them even if she's already tired from work, would suspend her work just to attend their school activities. she is that kind of mother.
• older sister — yoon soojin (suzanne) - 24 - law student - patient, diligent, stubborn // soojin is junhee's role model. as young kids, she would follow her unnie around wherever she went. as teenagers, she would copy the way she dresses, or her make ups. now, they always fight because of junhee's stubbornness and laziness. but besides that, soojin and junhee are close.

• the squad — haley shaw (19), kaitlyn lopez (20), andrei houston (20) - currently college students in ucla - funny, kind, kpop lovers // the squad is composed of different races, haley and andrei are both the native american, kaitlyn is a latina, and jisoo is a fellow korean. they're all very close, and even if junhee and jisoo are both in korea to pursue their kpop career, the squad still contacts them through video chatting or social media. they're actually very proud of their friends being idols too.
• best friend — hong jisoo / joshua - 20 - idol (seventeen) - thoughftul, calm, caring // jisoo is also part of the squad. they've been friends since middle school and became classmates up to high school. he didn't really join them in making videos because he's always been shy but he was always there to support them.

• buddy — kim chaeyeon - 19 - big hit trainee (soon to debut) - confident, blunt, headstrong // it wasn't chaeyeon who first greeted her when she first arrived in big hit, however, she was the first one to begin a friendship. since both of them are into pet animals, the two easily became comfortable with each other. they would go to pet cafes during their free time and talk about stuffs during practice. junhee is very comfortable around chaeyeon, she thinks she's very laid back and a confident lady. junhee actually admires her personality she always compliments her.
• role model / mentor — jung hoseok j-hope - 21 - idol (bts) - funny, outspoken, optimistic // just like how rapmon did with jungkook, hobi also amazed junhee the first time she saw him dance. when at first she enjoys singing, junhee fell in love with dancing. she pursued her dancing more as soon as she began her training, making it her priority before her singing. she's shy around hobi but eventually learned to become friendly with him, they actually have their own personal handshake that j-hope made himself.
• favorite person in bighit — park jimin - 20 - idol (bts) - charming, talkative, diligent // despite debuting even before junhee's arrival in big hit, jimin became friends with junhee. usually he would join her in the dance studio to practice with her. j-hope would teach them together with the other trainees once or twice in a while, but when asked to pick an apprentice (partner), jimin chose junhee to be under his care. that's when they become close. most importantly, they're so close they use informal language with each other.

TRAINEE YEARS /
• junhee became a trainee of big hit entertainment in 2015 for almost a year and a half, one year and four months to be exact. she got in through a (dance) video audition she had sent via e-mail to big hit's international office. she didn't really tell her parents about her auditioning because she was not expecting herself to get in. however to her surprise, she was wrong. she got it eventually and so she had to ask for her friends' help to think of a way to tell her parents about her admission, which they did altogether. they begged, pleaded, and almost cried in front of her junhee's parents just to let her go to korea to do it. at first, her parents scolded them for keeping it a secret, but when they had a sincere talk with junhee, they finally allowed her. but with conditions.
• junhee flew to korea alone as soon as she received confirmation from big hit representatives. through the help of her father's influences in his hometown, junhee found a decent apartment to stay in, in seoul, and on her own. it was tough living by herself, but junhee endured it for her dreams. diligently, she spent her every day inside big hit's dance studios and music rooms. obediently, she followed her instructors tips and pieces of advice on how to control her breathing when singing or how to keep her voice in tact during an active dance routine. she learned a lot, personally speaking. the only difficulty she had was she's not that fluent in her supposed to be mother-tongue. because of it, she had (and still have) to double her efforts in juggling practice and studies.

• she used to do youtube videos with her friends about random kpop stuffs. they would do dance or song covers and upload it online.
