personality

Soojin, despite being an only child used to have this jolly attitude in her. When she was young, she was always the center of attraction of her family because of her cute and bubbly personality. She even dances in front of them as they clap and sing the song for her. But as soon as Soojin reached her 13th year, her personality has changed. She become quiet, shy and distant to her cousins and family. Added to this, is the fact that they moved to America due to her mother's business. But what Soojin learned in America is the meaning of being 'industrious', since her parents are both busy with their jobs and are not always at home, Soojin learned to be responsible by her own. She knew how to cook for herself, to clean her room and even the whole house. Then she started to become caring and thoughtful when her Dad had an illness that almost caused his death. Because of this, Soojin become afraid of losing somebody she loves. 

Soojin, on the other hand has this 'back & forth' attitude. What I meant by that is, she sulks easily, even to the smallest things. The only thing about her being sulky is that she doesn't verbally say it, instead she'll show it through her actions. You'll know she's sulky if she ignores you any more. And she does pretty the same if she's angry. In short, Soojin's not expressive of her thoughts. She's a type of a girl who keeps the problem to herself and to eventually forget about it.

family background

Soojin is a daughter of a Navy Captain and an editor-in-chief/author  of a story book company. She was born in Seoul, South Korea but grew up in Los Angeles. She and her mom first migrated to California when she was 5, due to the decision of her parents. Eventually, even without her Dad who was left in Seoul (he can't leave Seoul because of his duty as a Navy Captain), she grew up a smart lady who studied in an all girls school until middle school. Soojin, together with her mom returned to Korea when she was 14 to visit her grandparents. It was just supposed to be a visit, but in an unexpected turned of events, Soojin's grandfather (Father's side) died so they have to stay there for a long while. Since it would take time before they could go back to America, Soojin's parents offered her to continue her high school studies in Seoul, and Soojin, who understands the situation, agreed to it.  

During her high school days, Soojin got into the journalism club that usually goes to read story books for the children in the orphanages. At first she was distant to the kids, that she prefers to be at the side watching than to read for them. But because she has to, Soojin taught herself to be more friendly with the young ones, and with the help of her fellow clubmates, Soojin slowly got into the business. So despite her being a quiet one, don't underestimate Soojin's knowledge about the children.

Years had passed and Soojin fell in love with Seoul, so she decided to stay and continue her college in there. Soojin's mom supported her decision and flew back to America by herself. Soojin, on the other hand, pursued her dream of becoming an artist and took Fine Arts as her course.

  ❤ Father — Oh Namjin : 48 : Soojin is not that close to her dad, if you would rate it, she would give you a 7/10 rating. It's because, since her dad's a soldier who works for the Navy, he's always not home. Although he buys her the things she needs and wants, Soojin's still not contented with it. She needs more than that, and that's a special time with her dad. She actually got worried about him when he got sick with Diabetes that he got bedridden, but she was in America and her dad's in Seoul so she regretted that she couldn't take care of him

  ❤ Mother — Lee Soomin : 45 : Soojin grew up under her Mom's care, so she's really really close to her. She would rate the relationship 10/10. Her mom's the sweetest mom she could ever have, she gives Soojin all the love and care that she needs besides the material thigs that she buys her. Her mom, despite being the busy editor-in-chief of a Children's book and book author, did not lack in taking care of her. She just love her mom very much.

  ❤ Everyone will be surprised to know that Soojin's surname is also 'Oh', it will earn a tease for both her and Sehun. The others would joke that Sehun and Soojin are already secretly married. Though the two insisted that they don't have a relation with each other before LOVE BABY.

  ❤ Soojin sketched her hubby and son while they were playing in the park.

  ❤ Soojin asked Sehun to check on the food she's cooking while she was busy dressing up Ziyu, but Sehun did not hear it since he was in the bedroom. When Soojin looked at food almost burnt, she started sulking and did not talk to Sehun for hours. Sehun noticed it and started to panic about it. 

  ❤ Soojin told Ziyu that her Mom is an editor-in-chief of a Children's Book Company so he can have all the storybooks he likes. 

  ❤ Soojin will get close to Ziyu first before Sehun, since the baby felt comfortable with her and he likes her telling him stories.

  ❤The 'Oh' Family will have one wish for each, obviously Ziyu's wish is a material thing which is a storybook. While Sehun's wish was to have a Zoo trip with his family. Soojin, on the other hand wished to have a bonding time with her Dad, who was in his vacation. Sehun, at first was nervous because he knew that Soojin's dad is a Navy man, but as soon they were introduced, Sehun learned that Soojin's dad's just like her, quiet and friendly.

  ❤The older members tease Sehun to be a better husband, because if he will not, Soojin's dad might call his troop and salvage (jokingly) him.

  ❤Soojin will draw a whole story book starring Ziyu, as a gift for his birthday. It was published by the wife's mom's publishing company.

  ❤The 'Oh' Family will write their own story book starring, of course Sehun as the dad, Soojin as the mom and Ziyu as the baby, and Soojin will ask her mom to bind three copies for each of them. 

  ❤One time, when Soojin went home from her school (university), she saw how messy the house was. She got pissed  again and ignored Sehun and even Ziyu for hours. Until the father and son decided to do something to make her smile. They let her sit on the couch as they both danced for her. Soojin was actually shocked to see Ziyu dance, because she knows that he doesn't like doing things like that. But only to make her smile, the baby did it. In the end she hugged both her hubby and her baby and told them she was really touched by it.

  ❤Soojin's bubbly personality when she was young will slowly return thanks to her hubby and son ho always bring smile on her face.

  ❤The 'Oh' family was actually nicknamed as the 'Maknae Family' because they are the youngest couple. 

  ❤Sehun will ask Soojin to stop calling him Sehun-sshi, (she calls him Sehun-sshi from the beginning) instead, call him Sehun oppa. Soojin scratched her head when she first heard about the idea, but eventually she ended up calling him that. The first time Soojin called him oppa was during the time Sehun and Ziyu danced for her, she said, "Thank you oppa" while hugging him. That time, Sehun admitted that he felt really happy when his wife finally called him 'oppa'.

  ❤The wife was teaching baby Ziyu the English Alphabet when her hubby suddenly joined in and imitates Soojin while teaching. He repeats everything that his wife says. Sehun ended up learning as well.
