Background | Lee Soojin is the only daughter of a Korean animator and a Filipina theatre costume designer who's currently working in South Korea. She was born in the Philippines and lived there to study--the reason why she's fluent in both Filipino and English. Soojin was 10 when they migrated back in Korea, obviously because of her parents job. Soojin's parents decided to have a divorce when she was 14, but then they agreed to divide the time for their 2 children. Because of this, Soojin's grandma (mother's side) flew to Korea to take care of her and her brother. Lee Soojin as the youngest, had a hard time to adjust, as she and her brother go back and forth to their parents' families, but with the help of her older brother and grandparents, Soojin got used to it.
