Now, I am not Muslim, nor do I speak Arabic... I am agnostic and if god is real I might be heading straight to hell, now I didn't want to say anything about the matter because I have to be all responsible and and research and stuff, and I am too lazy. But because even my sealed tight twitter feeds is still dripping with this issue, I decided to goodle this. Because you know, I have an essay due, and it seemed like curiosity is the best way to alleviate my inflamed anxious being.

So first, what is this about? If you are uninvolved with 2ne1, you may have not heard of this. But as BJ this is what you call a cluster. Why? Because I like that word, cluster... it's like a but cereal version... :3 But anyway, let us all first acknowledge that MTBD is an actual up and it used Q'uran or at least something very similar:

Now, I know, as a BJ we want to protect CL from haters and really I could go on a rampage at people who tell her she needs to kill herself or something. I am angry at the sheer stupidity of people who think that anyone has any right on other people's life. If you are one of them, then you need to get some bleach and boil it and smell the fumes, because , you are not that important, no matter how offended you are you have no right to ask people to die, that is not your life, and whatever god you champion who suppport your conduct must be real douche as well.

But then again, I am not saying that CL has done no wrong here. I am all for cultural appropriation, and I am not religious, but still this is an aspect of respect. Not tolerance but actual respect for a culture that you want to assimilate. They (meaning the production team which includes CL, Teddy and YG as a whole) should have known, or at least should have some inclination to research this beautiful music they decide to embed in their song. 2ne1 had always had that middle eastern vibe to their songs, it had worked for them. It only would be proper if they showed some respect to it.

I do not like the hate CL is getting in the loads, but I am not proud of these BlackJacks that are saying that there is no place for apologies since CL is not muslim and she does not need to abide muslim laws, which is ing dumb. Respect is about reciprocation and things that are taboo to another person should be taboo not because it's right or wrong but because you resepct their being and their right to have their own beliefs and values. There is a need for apology because people are offended, because this is an actual result of negligence. I am all for a free world, but there must be restrictions if we hope to live in a world of respect and continous individuality. No one should be imposed upon whether it's liberal on conservative beliefs. In a Utopian world, we are free to be whether you don't give a or your constipatedly a tight .

Also, I think that line in MTBD and that Q'uran song are beautiful. I never knew that and though in this midst of controversy this might be taken out.... I thought it was nice hearing it.

I've always liked those Latin Christian songs as well, even if... you know... I'm going to hell and all that.
