Hey sweethearts and super-lovelies~

So, I just went to a 2PM concert a couple of days ago here in Japan and now I'm just drowning in my own feels so I desperately need to went. Probably I could go on and on for days, but I'm going to try keeping this as short as possible (yes, this is me keeping it short lol)... But I'll divide it into sections so there's no need to read everything (or anything at all lol)...

(At the bottom I listed the shipping moments I noticed if that's something of interest)

Fanshopping

On the 6th of March, it was rather cold and me and my two sisters went to Osaka for a 2PM concert. Honestly I almost wasn't excited, because this was just too big for me to handle, so it wasn't until we arrived that it came to me that this was really happening.

And since this is my first time going to a 2PM concert (apart from seeing them take 2 songs in Music Bank Paris) I of course went crazy with the fanshopping.

I bought the official penlight, but didn't buy any color cover, maybe I should have bought Chansung's color, but oh well, I wanted to support all of them anyways. Then I bought the Woo-hat and the Jun.K mittens... So now I'm SUPER happy it's cold in Japan so I can use them LOL... Then I bought myself the black Genesis-of-2PM T-shirt, a concert towel, picture book from when they went to Frankfurt and some stickers (and on the way my sisters gave me 2PM shoe laces!!! They saw them some months ago here in Japan and were like OMG unnie HAS to have this!!! And they were right, I had to lol)

And then I bought the Chansung uchiwa, and then of course I had to buy Wooyoung so I could make a chanwoo... And then me and my sister went to meet with my other sister who was waiting in a line for some stuff... But then my sister had bought a Minjun uchiwa (her bias), so my other sister wanted a Wooyoung one... And then I started thinking that when I'll come home and start placing my chanwoo uchiwas in my apartment how I would feel not having the others... And I was like: “You know you're just going to be sad and want to kick your past-self in the for being stupid” So I went back and bought the rest of them LOL and walked around with 6 uchiwas and met some J-hottests who thought I was hilarious with all my uchiwas lol..

The Fans

While waiting at the front, by what I saw it seemed like Taecyeon was the most popular, at least the Ok-cat was everywhere LOL, and lots of girls dressed completely in green! Then probably Wooyoung also had a lot of fans around, but I guess that's usually right? Taec and Woo being super popular, working so well in drawing more hottest in ♥ ♥ ♥

But in the hall, every member had support spreading all over. I saw lots of fans for every member, and then just everyone supported everyone.

And everyone was just... so nice.

Do to the difficulties of getting tickets (dear Japan why does it have to be so complicated?) I got a seat away from my sisters, so I sat alone, not that I minded at all LOL, I was about to see my babies. But a woman sitting close to me started randomly talking to me, and I managed to talk with her in my very broken Japanese lol... But she was super patient and told me about her son who is now in Korea (and CNblue was his favourite K-band), and then she just asked me who was my favourite and what I loved about 2PM and then we just flailed together.

She's a Taec bias, but loves them all (I think most of us end up loving them all) and she had been to all 3 Osaka concerts and went to Fukuoka as well and was going in Tokyo as well (lucky lucky lucky lucky J-hottest)... And when she heard that this was my first time in a proper 2PM concert she went through her stuff, and she had disposable penlights to use for the solos, and she just gave me her purple one so I could use it for Chansung's solo since he was my bias.. So when that came I could support him with a penlight. You guys have no idea how happy that made me. And then she had an extra pink one, so I could also have it for Jun.K's solo... And then she had some paper to hold up for Nichkhun's and Jun.K's solo that was a standard decorated one for their solos and she offered me to hold them too! And when I was like: “No, I can't take all your stuff!” She was like: “This is your first time, so take it!” And then in the end I wanted to return it, but she was like: “No you can keep it” and then she hugged me before we said goodbye.

And when I met with my sisters afterwards, they had a very similar story. Near them a Jun.K fan was sitting, and she had some extra papers to hold up for the Jun.K solo, which of course made my sisters super happy (especially since one of them is Minjun-biased, and Minjun is among the favourites for the other one), but this Jun.K-fan that had been so nice to them, was just so Unbelievably grateful that they would hold up this paper to support his solo, so she gave them a pink bracelet she had made herself as a thank you when my sisters should be the ones to be grateful.

That's not all because they also talked with a girl from Singapore that came to Japan especially for the concert. And in front of the concert hall some other fan was distributing free CDs and gave her tons, so she gave my sisters a lot, and they gave me a half of it, so now I own Winter Games, Beautiful, Masquarade and Give me Love!

Of course I don't know the story behind this, but my guess is that some hard core hottest bought several CDs to help with the ranking, and then decided to give them there where she knew people would enjoy them.

Honestly... Being there made me so proud to be in this fandom.

My sisters are hottest (I raised them well), but less hard core than me lol, and count 2PM as one of their favourites, while for me they are obviously my ultimate favourites no contest lol...

But anywho, they have been to other K-concerts in Japan, and they said the atmosphere was just totally different than on other concerts. And when I asked how. They said that mostly people were nicer, not that the other people were un-nice, but this was seriously unnatural level of niceness. And they said that the people there were more fans in away. Or maybe more fanlike fans, like the fan-like love was more obvious...

And yes, that sort of fits with my general observations.. I think as a fandom we are rather tight, and I think in a way that comes from all the hate we get, of course everyone gets hate, but it's no news that 2PM get a lot of hate (only sones have it worse I think), so I know that many hottest (myself included) give up on following general K-pop news, because they have better things to do with their lives than reading hate... So those that stick around are usually pretty deep in love with the boys, which makes us tight, but I often worry that we are not welcoming enough for casual fans and don't have enough of them... Almost like there is an on/off button, either you're a hottest or you're not... But casual fans are super important too... But that's an entirely different story, that I'm not going to go into LOL

But yeah, of course no fandom is perfect, but I think in general we can be proud of ours, at least after going to that concert I so am ♥

Highlights

I'm really going to try to keep this section as short as possible, because honestly I don't have time to flail over every single song they sang (plus nobody would want to read it lol! But that is less important though lol, I'm not such a considerate blogger ;))

But 2PM songs (excluding solos) that stood up for me for one reason or another... And yeah, of course I'm biased towards my favourite songs, but it also depends on the performance which one is my favourites, like I have the TV recording for 6 beautiful days, and then the DVD, and though it's the same kind of concerts there are different songs that are favourites of mine in these two recordings, so I'm sure if I would have seen one of the other Osaka concert, others would have come on top.

Winter Games – Their dancing was just SO good. I love them dancing so much there isn't an end to it.

I'm Your Man – The 2PM song I've listened to the most, and is one of my all time favourites. When it started it just gave me goosebumps, and I had goosebumps throughout the entire concert. And I was like wow, this is really happening, I'm like really seeing them. And their dance is just something I cannot get tired of, having seen the MV literally hundreds of times (yes I keep a count of these things), and oh just, every part of this song is a favourite, and also since it's probably a month now since I last heard it (cause I was listening to their new stuff), so I was just happy to hear it because I had missed it so lol... And they looked beautiful.

Game Over – This song is just, so unbelievably awesome live, the power, and Junbros singing together was amazing, and when they held Wooyoung up and he sang his part I just fell in love with him All over again for the umpthy-eth time and counting.

Step by Step – Probably the song that surprised me the most, because it's a song I like, but not like one of my favourites, but the performance was AMAZING. The dance was just awesome, with hip shaking that made my ovaries explode, and then Chansung forgot his line, and showed the cutest apology face EVER... And the whole thing was just magic.

Again and Again – I always love this song (yes I'm the biggest er for JYP's songwriting), and I always love their voices so much when singing it. And they sang half of it normally, and then changed the second half of it to a slower version, and that just gave it a whole new dimension, and it was so amazing, just so friggin amazing you guys HAVE to see it when the DVD comes out.

Missing You – I don't even know what to say. If I would have been watching a DVD, as soon as this song was over I would have rewinded and watched it again... and then again... and again.. and again... until the night was over, and then started the same process the next day. This is one of my all time favourite 2PM songs, and I've listened to it more than 600 times and counting. And this version just, so much better than the studio version it's not even a joke. So yeah, this one just... God I'm in love

Don't Stop Can't Stop – The singing wasn't perfect in this one, but the dancing was. This was the first 2PM song I ever heard so I'll always love it especially. And though I don't listen to it that much (that much is relative lol I'd guess ~100 times) it's one of the songs I love the most live, and there is just so much power in the dancing and in the words, and so much fire. It made me really believe that 2PM and Hottest are in it together till the end.

ADTOY – Love this song, and the dancing. And even though I was sitting far away, it was still nice to be able to watch the entire thing uninterrupted, because the last part of the dance is seriously just... Well ALL the dance is just so frigging amazing. But for the last part, seriously, Chansung is born to dance this dance, but in lives they never show him uninterrupted, except in this incredible gift of a rehearsal video, so if you haven't given Chansung special attention, watch it again, and you'll see, this dance was made for him and he's AMAZING.

The Boys &  Their Solos

Junho

At this moment, my favourite songwriter in 2PM is probably Junho (though everyone is getting so good it's hard to choose). That being said, Hey You is not one of my favourite songs, and for me his solo he took in 6 Beautiful Days was better, because that one was Incredible, so if you still haven't seen that one yet, you need to find a way to.

But Hey You was still a lot of fun, and Junho has gotten more popular with his solo, so he had a lot of support. He was very energetic in a sparkly jacket, running around the stage looking dreamy in his blonde hair :)

Apart from his solo, my favourite was Game Over, that one was just ahhh... And then Missing you and ADTOY.

Taecyeon

Taec got really a lot of support, and I always love Taec's songs (Kimi dake ni being my favorite lol, which reminds me that when I was talking to the J-hottest, I told her I loved kimi dake ni so much since she was a Taec-bias, and that in general I loved his songwriting, and she was just incredibly grateful and thanked me especially for liking them, and then I just laughed and was like: Why are you thanking me? It's not like you made the songs... which made her laugh even more lol)

And his newest song is no exception. I just Love it. And I'm so glad he's writing, and I hope he continues to. And yeah, he was so cool on the stage, and so charming lol... As much of an idiot that our Ok-troll can be, he's just so Unbelievably cool on stage, and he knows it lol. And my favourite part of the performance was when he sang the two lines he actually sang, which is my favourite part in the song because I LOVE it when Taec sings, I just LOVE it. He's not the most confident singer, but his voice just... ohh... it reaches me right to the core, so I hope he starts singing more and more (which is another thing I love about 2PM, that they are willing to step out of their comfort box, improving in areas where they are maybe not natural talents, because I know that if Chansung and Taecyeon were in other groups, they probably would never sing, which I think is sad cause I love their voices)...

But anywho, his singing part was amazing, flawless, perfect, gave me goosebumps and honestly I wanted to never end, but of course it did.

Other songs where I especially loved Taecyeon: ADTOY and Don't Stop...

Nichkhun

Honestly, Nichkhun's solo was flawless, he sang so well, and made me so incredibly proud. Nichkhun is obviously not the best singer in 2PM, but he is relatively solid, and I just love his voice so much, especially when he sings soft songs, because there is just so much sincerity in his voice... Like there is this cover with him that is just something I've listened to 10-25 times every month for 3 years now, often more but almost never less, it's a hug when I need it, encouragement when I'm incredibly tired, and that is what Nichkhun's voice is to me, so I love it, and here it was amazing, and his performance was flawless. And his dancing ability does not get enough credit because that boy can dance.

But it was not just his solo, but the entire concert. I've watched a lot of 2PM lives over my lifetime, so I can tell you for sure that in this concert Nichkhun was in excellent condition. Everything he sang was just, so incredibly clear, incredibly beautiful, always showing of the best side of his voice. If I would mention songs where Nichkhun was especially good, I would mention most of them, because out of the 6 of them, compared to themselves, Khun was probably in the best condition over all, he was on fire, and it's not often that I have heard him this incredibly good.

But there is one moment that stands out from all the rest, one of my absolute favourite moments in this concert, and that was his part in Missing you. That part is one of my most favourite Nichkhun parts ever, and when he sang it, it was so clear so pure so beautiful the tears started flowing down my cheek, I just couldn't help it, it was so amazing and something I'll never forget.

Wooyoung

Woo baby is so stepping it up with his solo, trying all sorts of different things, trying to improve himself and move forward, and everything was a great success. Seeing him dance like that, I just sincerely wished I could spend my life watching Wooyoung dance and do nothing else, though someone might argue that is exactly what I'm doing lol. And no, I did not hate him ripping off his shirt, since for me he's probably the second hottest man in the universe and all.

Favourite Woo parts in this concert, that is hard. He's such an incredible dancer, and seeing him dance is just something I never can get tired off. And though I do like my job, I wish watching Woo dance could be my work lol... Then I'd gladly do overtime ;)

So favourites dance-wise were, First of all, Step by Step (his hip there is just.... words are not enough), Winter-game (this dance just suits him so well), Missing you (well everyone was perfect in missing you) and I'm your man.

Voice-vice, favourites were, his part in Game Over was just breathtaking, Woo singing Heartbeat is just one of my favourite things in the universe, and Again and Again was also especially amazing, and Missing you and I'm probably forgetting something because he was AWESOME.

Jun. K

If I had to choose my favourite singer in 2PM, that would be really hard, but choosing the best one, it's Minjun and I don't think many people argue with that. And let's get this straight, I've watched a lot of 2PM lives and concerts, though I'm very far from having watched everything, in part because of the things I like I have to watch multiple times. But yeah, I've spent countless hours watching 2PM live, and there is no doubt in my mind that Minjun live is amazing, like truly, and utterly fantastic. And Minjun in concert is just... there is nothing like it. Like in Tokyo Dome, he often manages to slightly change a line in the song, giving the song an entirely new feel, and his voice is incredible and he always puts so much feeling into everything he sings.

Well this I knew before I went... But this, his solo... I don't think I've heard him this good. Ever.

Needless to say I got goosebumps upon goosebumps upon goosebump upon goosebumps and I cried for the second time in this concert (after Nichkhun's part in Missing You).

Before I went to this concert, I was thinking that this solo was my favourite Jun.K song, and after hearing it live there is no question it is.

I don't know how to describe this, but yeah, Minjun has wanted to do a solo tour forever (and it's happening now in Japan in May), so he was putting everything into this performance, and when he puts his everything, everyone stops and listen. His singing just... took over the entire hall, and I honestly think every single person in that room was having goosebumps. You could just feel the magic in the air, and in his voice and the feeling he put into the song.

And after the concert when I met with my sisters the first thing they said to me was: “OMG Jun.K's solo!” It was not: did you have fun, or anything like that, because, that was just how good it was.

Thinking about it still gives me goosebumps.

So there is no question that his solo was his best performance, by far, so it's difficult to mention others, though he had a lot of good ones, but Game Over, and Missing you.. Yes and Again & Again was just... amazing. And OMG I have to mention Beautiful, that was maybe my second favourite Jun. K singing. He changed a line slightly and it was hunting and beautiful and I LOVE it when he does that.

Chansung

Then it's Chansung... My baby... ♥bias-alert♥ I didn't expect his performance to be perfect, and it wasn't. Though in a way it was. First he did a dance with a girl, and when the girl “left him” there was so much tension in the air, and the entire hall was completely silent, you could really have heard a needle falling on the floor. And then his song started, and he sang his heart out with all his might and all his sincerity, giving it his everything, and it was just magic and made me cry like a baby. His voice is just so unique and beautiful and I can never get enough of it, and his sweetness is just so thick it felt I could touch it from across the entire hall. And in general during the entire concert was the same, I don't know how to describe it, but it's like his sweetness is too much for a grown man to contain, so it just spreads everywhere.

And other performances I especially loved, Don't Stop, ADTOY, Hanareite itemo, Step by Step was amazing as well...

I just love this man so much there is no comparing to it. Like honestly sometimes I don't really understand why he's my bias, and think I should love the others more, but I can't... Chansung is always going to be my baby.

Final words

I've been blessed in a way that I've been to a lot of K-pop concerts with bands I love like crazy and all of them have been awesome.

But it doesn't compare. Not to seeing 2PM live, it just doesn't compare.

Now I'm not saying that 2PM is necessarily better than other groups.

It's just my love for other groups doesn't compare and is never going to.

It's different going to a concert with songs that in a way have become the soundtrack to your life. Since that over the last few years I've listened to 2PM songs well over 20.000 times (yes I keep a track of these things), so a big proportion of my life is spent listening to them.

It's different when you're deeply in love with every single member and that you like almost all of their songs.

I mean with other groups I like some songs and dislike others, and I mean that's normal, but for 2PM the songs I dislike are probably less than 5 and none of them very famous so they are not played in concerts. Of course some songs I love more than others, but still it's amazing being at a place were so many of your all time favourite songs are sung by people you love so much.

So yeah, what I realized while I was there, is that it's over for me.

In the sense that I'm never going to escape from these boys. I'm in it for life, 2PM are always going to be my first and my last and my everything and I'm probably never going to love another group this much. Of course things can change in a way you don't expect them to, but at this moment I don't see that happening lol...

And honestly often I wonder why it had to be them, because they are far from being perfect. But it could only be them, and their flaws make them beautiful.

But yeah, word of advise, for my fellow hottest, I know it's expensive, but if you have any chance at all for buying the concert DVD when it comes out, do it. You won't regret it.

So anywho... That was a lot of fangirling lol... But let me tell you that going to a concert, doesn't mean that is done. It's more like, never in my life have I wanted as much to go to a 2PM concert as I do right now.

So I think I'll end this for now lol, doubt anyone read this far anyways, but I needed to get my feels out so that's OK lol...

Oh yeah, and for the shippers, I noted down the shipping-moments I noticed at the bottom, in case you're interested.

Shipping Moments

Disclaimer: I just list the things I noticed and remember, I didn't leave anything out on purpose (of course not), and if I remembered something wrong I'm sorry, but I really tried my best. I saw most moments with Chansung or Minjun, I'm Chan-biased, so naturally I'll notice Chan-pairings more, and then Minjun is the skinship king LOL, so his pairings are Everywhere and really hard to miss lol... Which is why I think his pairings should and need to get more love!

Taecsung, Wooho I didn't see sorry, maybe there were moments and I missed them, but there are lots of those moments in other concerts.

Chanwoo

During one of the talks Chansung put his hand on Woo's shoulder.

In the talk after Woo's solo, Chansung made fun of Woo for taking his shirt off, and then repeatedly he encouraged him to take it off again lol... (I'm with you on that Chansung!)

At the end they showed video the short making of Genesis tour (which will probably be in the DVD which is one of the many reasons why I need it)

But in that making video, they were filming inside the dancing studio (I think), and Chansung had his hands completely wrapped around Wooyoung, hugging him from behind and they looked so perfect and happy that my chanwoo heart just died a little (or a lot)... Honestly I just thinks Woo fits SO perfectly in Chansung arms... He's just made to be there. ♥swooning♥

And things like that are exactly where you're going to find Chanwoo moments. So here is my advise to new chanwoo shippers that are looking for moments, first of all talk to me! Lol, I'm always going to want to flail about chanwoo (though in March I'm a little busy, but I don't think I'm ever to busy for Chanwoo flailing) and second of all, if you're looking for Chanwoo moments, look where there is only the 6 of them. In other people's variety or concerts and such the moments exist, but they are not that many (this is not a mainstream shipping for a reason lol), but if you look when just the 6 of them are hanging, not doing anything in particular, you are going to find lots and lots of love I swear! 2PMshow is a chanwoo-feast for anyone that wants to see it, with constant hugging and rubbing and other things, real 2PM is also good, and like in this making off and stuff like that. LOL, this is not a mainstream pairing that is true, but the love is there ♥

Chankhun

There was a lot of Chankhun, the two of them just fit so incredibly well together, or at least I think so lol. There were a lot of Chankhun hugs, especially in the second part.

And when someone pinned something on Chansung's shirt, Nichkhun came to make sure it was properly fastened and he often looked over Chan like he was taking care of him.

In the end they were goofing around, and when Taec was talking and MC-ing in the back Chansung was laughing at something Nichkhun said.

When Nichkhun and Minjun said they were going to fight for teams, both Chan and Woo clung to Nichkhun's side, wanting to be picked on his team.

And then when Chansung got picked on Khun's team they hugged really tightly.

And there were a lot of Chansung-Nichkhun-Junho hugs since they were on the same team.

Chanho

Not a lot of chanho, especially considering this is chanho and some concerts are seriously Chanho-festivals lol, so I could have used more Chanho, but still there was some :)

After Chansung's solo, Junho said his solo was really cool, and he seemed to really mean it.

Junho took his hand more than once, and once wanted to but Chan didn't notice.

There were a lot of Chansung-Junho-Khun hugs, since they were in the same team for the games.

And in the end when they were running around in the end, Junho followed him around for a while.

Chankay

Plenty, Minjun kept putting his hand around his shoulder, and leaning up to him, whilst chansung became super cute. I just love the two of them together, both of them do a lot of skinship, so if they come even remotely close to one another it ends up in a hug or someone clinging on someone. And Chansung always becomes extra maknae-like around him, which Minjun can't resist, the sweetheart that the old daegu-grandpa is, so it's just filled with overflowing love and cuteness.

Wookay

There was plenty of Wookay, Jun.K kept hugging him from behind, putting his arms around him, talking to him and being super sweet, Minjun is always kind of protective and hyung-like around woo I think, and I thought so there too.

Taeckay

If this concert was a feast for any shippers it was for Taeckay-shippers!

Minjun was CONSTANTLY hugging Taec, and Taec eagerly hugging him back, and when they were not doing that they were holding hands or leaning onto one another with super-smiles plastered on their faces.

Then they lost the game (Minjun's team always looses lol), and had to do a punishment where Taec played Minjun's girlfriend, and called him oppa like dozens of times and kept clinging to him with loudly calling him oppa, being the loudest most clinging girlfriend ever LOL.

And then when Taec was playing Woo's boyfriend, Jun.K came running towards him (for some reason I didn't really understand because of my poor Japanese, part of the game I suppose) and started to fake beat him up, and Taec lay down on the floor, screaming in very overreacted fake pain...

Here I'm not 100% sure, but I think Minjun helped him stand up when everything was over lol...

Then in the end, Minjun came (I think it was minjun rather than woo), and tied his towel into a bow, later did the same thing for Chansung (there I'm sure it was minjun)

Khunkay

Minjun put his arm over his shoulder a couple of times, and they sort of hugged sideways. Then the best shipper moment Ever when Minjun bent over and Nichkhun lay down on top of him from behind, making it look like... they were... doing... stuff... LOL... At least it reminded me that I've been wanting to write khunkay for a very long time now. THAT is a ship that deserves more love.

Taeckhun

When Taec was talking in one of the MC moments Nichkhun came up to him and whispered in his ear to remind hottest to eat well and take care of themselves so they wouldn't get sick.

And Taec went on his knees begging Nichkhun to choose him in his team, but he was not impressed and didn't lol...

Taecwoo

There was a Taecwoo moment, Taec said something funny, so woo leaned into him, smiling super softly... And then in one of their games, Wooyoung made sure to take good care of Taec and make him a fake seat belt for his fake car.

And then in the punishment game Woo played Taec's girlfriend and they looked really good together lol..

Taecho

Junho was complaining at Taec for being an idiot, but then Taec just turned himself into a bigger idiot, making Junho smile the way only he can, and forget about complaining.

Khunho

There was a khunho hug at least twice I think, and then there were lots and lots of junho-khun-chansung hugs when they were on the same team.

And for the teams, Nichkhun chose Junho first.

Khunyoung

Didn't have a lot of moments, but when competing Woo wanted to be on Khun's team, so he and Chansung clung to each side, wanting to be on his team, while Taec when on his knees begging, but Khun didn't want him. And then Woo got disappointed when he was picked on minjun's team instead of Khun's.

And then in the making of video for the tour there was a very happy side hug between the two of them.

Junbros

Endless junbros, especially at the beginning, minjun was almost constantly hugging him, which made Junho smile super sweetly, and then they took each other's hand in a song (game over I think), and just in general had lots of interaction and love.
