TabiSan Fan Fest Hiring!

Hello, friends and non-friends.

I am posting this (partially because I can, partially because I have a very big academic project I am trying to ignore) to announce the incoming TabiSan Fan Fest that would host fanfics and fanart like a really big fandom which we all know it isn't. Haha.

(credits to azarah for this edit)

I think I will be the main host for this. LOL. Just because I am the originator of the idea, inspired by (please don't tell her, I still owe her a GTOP story) dreamsaremadeof's GTOP AU Fest.

... so the idea:

Basically, this will start as just a compilation of volunteers who would either write or make a manip/fanart according to predetermined theme. Right now, it's a rich diversity of secretseven, MissTangerine, and KittyKhatz (LOL. Please express your desire to apply).

The three of us have been talking about this and kind of sort of agreed to the Angels and Demons theme. But now that we have a Christmas Tree set up, I was thinking wouldn't a Christmas theme be apt to start this off?

Of course, you can dim the people's Christmas spirits and extinguish the holiday cheer by giving your fic/art a darker shade to it.  I don't mind. I just thought the a seasonal deadline of December 25th would be good for first one shots.

I was thinking if the stories should just a follow a theme or should it be build on a thread (like how one fic ends is how the other start)

For example:

The first story ends:

Sandara stares down at that orange, circular light underneath the lamp post where he always stood to wait for her.

So logically the next story would either take the whole sentence to begin the next. Or just a thematic subject, in this example: lamp post, snow or light.

Or should all the writers/artist write/make a prompt? Or should the artist make a prompt through an edit/manip that the writers write to. OwO

I am now tangled in all this web of ideas.

I hope some of you would express your interest and contribute to this idea. If you think this is a bad idea and sevvy should just sit her and write updates, let me know. LOL. I feel like I am always getting to carried away with ideas. Um.

Now, that's done (what's done, sevvy?), it's time to write my propaganda movement for the Galactic Empire.

Hi! ^^ Uhm, where does this take place (here, obviously, haha!), like post in our own accounts then just write in the desc that it's part of the Fan Fest? :) I haven't really tried my hand at one-shots, but I'd like to try. ^^

I think given the time constraint (lol), it'll be more efficient if we collate prompts from non-participants to refrain the author from choosing their own prompt. Or we could give a prompt to another author...example, You give me Apples as prompt, I'll give Khat Melon, she'll give you Pasta XD

A reverse prompt would be nice too...where an author makes a story out of a poster or a manip.

Go sevvy! lol
