We all remember that totally addictive, unforgettable childhood cartoon. Mine was Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I absolutely loved that show growing up. (And I still do now.) Best three or so years of my TV show life before I got into anime and dramas. When I heard that Nick would be making a sequel to The Last Airbender with the next generation's Avatar I got so excited.

The Legend of Korra is the name as you can see from the title and picture. She's a waterbender from the southern water tribe. She's tough, stubborn, and very determined. The first season aired in 2012. I welcomed it with open arms though I was a little worried that it wouldn't compare to the original. Because let's face it; sequels are usually shyt compared to the first ones. I watched it with an optimistic mind and convinced myself that I would accept a lack of quality. Luckily I didn't have to settle because the series was Daebak!! The setting was modern and fresh. The visuals were very detailed and colorful. I wasn't bored at all. It was amazing from start to finish.

Upon the announcement of season 2 I thought to myself "There is no way season two can top season one." I was so, so wrong on that one. Book 2: Spirits had my eyes peeled every episode. I couldn't wait to finish one up and move on to the next one. The ending was even more epic than the first one. In my honest opinion season two was more action packed and traditional. It showcased ancient history, high profile element bending and (of course) spirits and the spirit world.

Ahh~ I can't wait until the third season!!

Korra is so badass~ Now I kinda wish it was possible to bend elements in real life :/

Anyone else watch this show?? Please tell me what you thought about it. I'm so curious yeah~
