Episode 1: Heirs -- a little confused right now O.o

I'm like a couple weeks late but I finally saw the 1st episode of Heirs.

YAY!! :D

To sum it up it's basically about rich people and their problems and a "poor" girl and her problems. But Google can tell you that. I'm here to express what I thought.

Before I get started I have to say the cast is amazing.  My heart fluttered when I saw Minhyuk's gorgeous self and I fan girled when I saw Krystal acting all b*chy xD There was Wol Ryung (Gu Family Book) in there. And SO many other familar faces. Not to mention the main characters: Park Shin Hye and Lee Minho!! I love them both especially Park Shin Hye~ I think I have a female crush on her :3 I think she's so pretty and she's an excellent actress. Minho (not Choi but Lee) is so handsome and is good actor (accept for in English :P)

Anyway on to the point.

I was a little confused at the story line...

For one.

How in the world is a poor girl good friends with a rich handsome boy?? I wish I was :'(

Is it because the mom works as a housekeeper at his friend's home??

And what is up with the mom? Is she deaf? She seems like she can hear though. Maybe she lost her voice somehow... I don't know.

And that sister. That little wh*re. Instead of studying at University she's serving drinks (and her body) at a Californian cafe. The main character Eun Sang (I think) goes to the U.S. to personally give her Unni money and her wedding blessing. But she ends up stealing the money and running away. What was up with that? Their whole family confuses the mess out of me.

Can anyone clear this up for me???

I don't really like how they dipict Americans. Woman beating players and druggies. Americans already have a bad rep and dramas are global now. It also makes it seem like Californian streets are so dangerous that if an Asian girl is seen she will be harassed when in actuality we don't really notice foreigners that much.

There are a lot of unanswered questions I have. Maybe if I watch on it'll start making some sense. It's not too steotypical so I might actually like it.

I have high hopes for this drama :)

I only watched the first 15 minutes.
and like you I was very excited to see minhyuk as well.
and through that small amount of time I hated the so called big sister.
What a beautiful example for your little sister.
