What does EVERYBODY mean???

When I hear an amazing song like SHINee's Everybody I just have to look up the lyrics. And fortunately I found a great lyric video. The dance and MV make so much more sense to me now that I know what they are talking about.

I kept wondering wae they keep wiggling their fingers and picking each other up. Or wae everyone has on a mask. Now I know. The English makes sense too^^

In between the over 4 minutes minutes of Korean here's what message I got: Take off the mask you wear in front of others and just be yourself~ The composer might've meant something a little bit more extreme but I'm not a song writer and this is how I interpret it.

What do you think Everybody is about??~

Actually, reading the lyrics and watching the MV a couple dozen times, I just came to the same message as yours.

It's pretty much telling everybody who wants to hide behind a mask and live that life to just take if off and just act as themselves. That's how I see it.

Well, these lyrics are different from the typical love songs that we hear from Kpop. I like them. :)
