Hwa Young is the type of girl, who loves mascara. She has a whole collection of different types of eyeliners classified from color to brush size. She wasn't the type of girl who spent at least an hour on her makeup. She was the type, who randomly slapped on anything and everything she owned because she never had time to doll herself up. Sure, wake her up earlier and yes, she has the time to do so. But, she'd be too tired to even lift a stick of chapstick. However, she always uses this moisturizer that is vanilla rose scented. Hwa Young actually times herself to do her makeup with the intent on breaking her record everytime (which is ten minutes by the way).

Hwa Young loves her hair and she loves to brush her hair especially. But, oh yes there is always a big but, she has no idea how to style her hair. Sure, she knows the basic loose bun and ponytails but braids and salior knots, no way, mate. And one thing she learned from Hairstyling 101, never use a curling iron or a straighening iron because she's a walking fire hazard (she almost burnt her hair twice trying to use the flat iron). Thankfully, Jung Hwa is some kind of hair guru, who is always able to perfectly style Hwa Young's hair without it getting burnt or cut off unnecessarily. Other than that, she has absolutely no idea how to do a braid and she is always fascinated by the end result of her hair with thanks to Jung Hwa.

Hwa Young has got to be the world's biggest fashion terrorist ever. You can forget about buying her designer clothes. Give her the most expensive clothes in the world and you'll be crying once you realize what she has done with it. She always blindly picks her clothes without looking and the best part is that she doesn't give a damn what she wears. However, a certain Park Jung Hwa does care which is why Hwa Young is always thrown back into her room and forced to dress up nicely. Hwa Young can dress up appropriately if she tried but...Hwa Young just don't give a damn. However, Hwa Young loves to wear summer dresses and denim wear. She goes crazy for denim jackets and if there is a summer dress that catches her eye, she'll buy it.

If Hwa Young didn't have great fashion sense, she sure did have great taste for shoes. She was crazy for shoes and you could literally see the joy in her eyes if she spotted a pair she wanted. She had a whole section just dedicated to her shoes in her closet. When she wears heels though, she can gun it and hit it whenever she liked. It was as if she was born to walk in high heels. However, her favorite pair of shoes that she always wears because she, as mentioned above, does not give a about her fashion, is her Red and White Sneakers that she bought all by herself.

Hwa Young always wears a silver charm bracelet given to her by her older brother, Choi Si Won. It was given to her on the day she was accepted to Anima University. The story behind it is that it used to be given to the females of the family when they get accepted into Anima University to identify them as a part of a family who has always graduated as either Ring Masters or Dorm Masters. She also always carries a leather brown satchel with her that carries everything she needs like her wallet, her phone, her books, her food, etc. On her ring finger is a promise ring given to her by Chang Jo. And on the middle finger is a couple ring from Chang Jo.  

Anything Else Interesting: 

She has no tattoos and the reason is because...well, she just doesn't like tattoos. She does have piercings though. She actually has a stomach piercing and three ear piercings. Hwa Young actually has one double eye lid only and it is on her left eye. Her eye colors are a shade of chocolate brown but she does like to wear colored contacts from time to time for the fun of it. She also has a small scar behind her right wrist because she accidentally burnt herself trying to make breakfast for her parents back when she was seven. 

Best Attributes: 

The best attribute of Hwa Young's is probably her naturally soft hair. Jung Hwa and all her close gal pals get jealous of her naturally soft hair. The sad thing though is that she doesn't usually know how to make use of her naturally soft hair. She also takes a deep liking to her eyelashes. Her mother's side of the family have naturally curly eyelashes so she likes that part about herself. 

Insecurities: 

She doesn't hate it but it's more of a insecurity. Her smile. She feels insecure about her smile because when she was younger, she had to get braces and she found them funny and embarrassing. Even though they are off now, she still finds her smile weird-looking when in actual reality, she has a very beautiful smile. She doesn't like her chubby cheeks and finds them to be annoying. She also has a little insecurity about her thin wrists and ankles. She wasn't naturally skinny but she had unusually thin wrists and ankles that she liked to hide.

Personality:

The Good: 

Many would say she had a beautiful heart and her eyes saw a world different from others. Her presence was a calming hum like a lullaby and that one who was stressed would immediately feel slightly better with her presence around in contrast to her brother. And she was rather likeable and amiable, always willingly to lend a helping hand to one in need. Also, animals and babies just love her. Maybe because she has a good heart.

She was caring and soft-hearted. She had a decisive mind so she made quick decisions. She was slow to anger and had great control over her emotions. She was passionate in her beliefs so she made sure to work extra hard to become Ring Master (She would rather show it with her actions than her words). She was obedient. And she was an open-minded person who considered all possibilities.

She had this sixth sense in her around people. She could tell if they were good or bad. It was like her little radar and if it pointed to bad, she would seriously do something about it. She was also quite audacious. She can be quite the wildcat if you dare cross her. However, get on a good side and you'll realize that Choi Hwa Young is actually very talkative. Her nickname is Social Butterfly and she lives up to it.

The Bad:

Her open mind was a problem. Yes, she was open to all possibilities and opinions. But her open mind also made her trust someone too easily. She wasn't really gullible but she just trusted too easily. Since she needed someone to rely on, she always put her trust on someone so much that it would almost seem as if she was burdening this person with a huge responsibility.

Her kindness would be her downfall. She has heard many say that the battlefield is no place for kind hearted civilians and only the heartless of them all could survive. Even though she made quick decisions, she was stubborn and utterly hard to convince. And it also didn't mean she made the right decisions all the time. She wasn't irrational but she was firm in her beliefs too much. She was too obedient. She was too submissive. Almost to the point of a lost puppy.

This girl's heart is too weak. It's not like she can't hate someone. She can but she acts as if she's normal. She takes insult to the face and then pour out the dam later in her room alone. She takes physical abuse to the face and nurse the wound herself later. She isn't strong but she acts like it. If she hates you, then she doesn't show it. She still follows your orders and it may seem as if she's kissing your but really, this girl is just being too considerate for her own good. She doesn't want you to know that she hates you because she's afraid that she might be wrong that you hate her and hurt your feelings. She's just that insecure, stupid, gullible and innocent.

She definitely wants to become Ring Master since most of her relatives became one. However, after that, she really wants to travel around the world and become an artist. She still hasn't decided whether she will teach at Anima University once she settles down or not.

She didn't submit an application. It was customary for her family's children and descendants to attend this school. Every descendant gets automatic access to the school and doesn't need an application to fill out why. 

Why did she want to enter this university: 

It was her dream university but as mentioned above, she was already accepted the moment she was born.

Choi Ki Ho, her father, has always been a man dedicated both to his family and business. It wasn't like this before at all though. He used to be a work-aholic, neglecting his family, until his wife died of cancer ten years ago. Ever since then, he makes sure to balance out work and family. He loves his children and would accidentally spoil them too much. Thankfully, their mother's quality of humbleness ran in their blood. He always worries about Hwa Young and he even tried to persuade her not to leave for Anima University. However, even though the kind and worrywart father possesses this side, he also has a strict side to him as well.

Choi Si Won, her older brother, was a familiar face around campus. A good-looking one that is. Back in his day, he was a star student and what they call a Kingka. He was the perfect man but to Hwa Young, he was the best older brother ever. He took care of her and checked up on her despite his busy job as a neurosurgeon. Sometimes, he would lose his temper a bit and snap at her but he usually apologized, knowing how sensitive she was. He was goofy and made her laugh with his variety of funny faces (that you would not believe he was capable of due to his handsome face). All in all, he was one over-protective older brother that hasn't even approved of Chang Jo yet.

Home: 

She lives in a mansion with her father and a few maids and butlers here and there. Her older brother sleeps over at times but he moved out a long time ago. Sometimes, she sleeps over at Si Won's place as well. There are at least seven rooms for boarding; one master bedroom (her father's), two rooms (both for her and Si Won), and four guest rooms. Other than that, the mansion includes various rooms for both functional and entertainment purposes. There is a huge garden behind and the training arena is underneath. The mansion, otherwise, is in a more classy and uptown part of Bu San.

She prefers to calculate the moves of her opponent. She likes to think in a very strategic way so she attacks based on wit and strategy. She likes to keep a calm and collected mind when she fights and tries not to let her emotions get in the way of fighting.

How many years has she been training: 

Like her older brother, she started training ever since she turned six. It was a family tradition to start at six; her family was famous for producing great Ring Masters. Her father especially was a Ring Master. Ever since six, she was training in the arts of magic and found that her main element was water unlike her older brother's whose was fire.

The White Wolf is her affiliated animal. It is named Alban and it is from a line of Royal White Wolves. The White Wolves have served her family for many decades and are loyal to her family only. The White Wolves don't age so easily as they are the mythical line of Wolves along with Black Wolves. Alban is a ten year old male White Wolf and is about ten feet tall {304.8 cm} when summoned. However, it can shrink down to five feet {152.4 cm}. White Wolves have an affinity with ice & water; Alban improves Hwa Young's water element.

Han Sang Hyuk met Hwa Young at the Freshmen Entrance Ceremony. He had accidentally threw a ball in her way as he was playing around with his friends (VIXX were notorious for being rowdy boys). He was usually sarcastic but in a good biting sense. And even though he was the same age as Hwa Young, he played the oppa around her most of the time. He had no sense of patience and control. He got angry easily and he was very rough as he played around. But he's rather apologetic if he knows he's in the wrong. He also likes to tease Hwa Young and most of the time, he almost gets pummeled by Chang Jo or Zinni.

Yook Sung Jae met Hwa Young in the library as her family and his family were taking a tour around the campus. Sung Jae was the quiet and shy type of boy who didn't really know how to express his feelings through words. But he was intelligent and he had a way with the pen. He liked to spend time with Hwa Young because she could understand him and they shared quite a lot of things in common. He was unknowingly adorable when he's around females as he doesn't know how to converse with the opposite gender. Sung Jae was very docile and nice but he had a bad side to him as well which was his temper that he doesn't usually show. All in all, because of his docile nature, Chang Jo tends to take a liking to him in comparison to Hyuk.

She has a loud nature in her and tends to be very enthusiastic in everything that she does. Even though she can be a little airheaded at times, she's a great listener (believe it or not) and is a very supportive person. Her best friends are F(x) who attend the same dorm as her and her closest friend is Krystal. She was just a simple girl from a simple family but she had a big heart.

Kim Jin Hee met Hwa Young as the poor girl was lost. If you didn't know Kim Jin Hee or Zinni, you were a spy sent from another school. She and her friends were notorious for their rebellious acts and were known to be rather scary people. However, the real Zinni is actually nice and goofy. The only real reason why she's considered one of the scariest in the group is because she is famous for her hotheadedness and her strong-will. But really, as an unnie to Hwa Young, she looks after her like a real dongsaeng and makes sure that nobody messes with Hwa Young. Because Kim Jin Hee is stubborn and whoever messes around with her friends, ends up with a black eye and a hefty hospital bill (mainly Hyuk...).

Kim Mi So met Hwa Young when the young girl came to find her boyfriend in the South Dorm and ended up getting herself lost in the whole building. Mi So was a part of GLAM, a group you didn't want to mess with. But in comparison to her unnies loud and boisterous natures, Mi So was the opposite. She was calm and thoughtful but she had a strong-will and definitely a strong opinion on a lot of topics. Mi So grew close with Hwa Young fast as they both shared similar thoughts of similar topics. She was rather mature to be a maknae of the feminist GLAM (rumored to take over 2NE1's jobs as dorm master after the four years end) but deep down inside, she was a maknae through and through. However, get her mad, you'll be wishing you didn't.

Jung Eun Ji met Hwa Young when the Freshmen first moved into their dorms. Eun Ji was a part of Global Icon, a group scary on the outside but really...weird on the inside. She was very polite and friendly and girly despite her boyish looks. It was rumored that Global Icon all cut their hair just to scare people. But really, once you get to know Eun Ji, she's like that nagging mother you wish you never had. Even though she was rather humorous, as Hwa Young's roommate, she makes it an effort to take care of her especially since she's the unnie in the room. Global Icon may seem like the rivals of GLAM but actually they're just all bark but no bite unlike GLAM and EvoL.

Woo Chang Bum met Hwa Young at the cafe on her second day in Anima University. Chang Bum was one of those breathtakingly handsome and cool gentleman, who would always have a small horde of fangirls trailing around somewhere. Usually, he was very intimidating and stoic but after a while, he tends to show more emotion and can be a very protective oppa. Chang Bum always had this sixth sense in him that was so accurate, nobody doubted him if he said something's wrong. Chang Bum and his friends, 100%, were close friends with Teen Top, a group Chang Jo was in. So it wasn't that hard for Chang Jo and Chang Bum to connect. However, Chang Jo had even more jealousy issues with Chang Bum than with Hyuk especially since Chang Bum was so brotherly that it could be mistaken for romantic feelings.

Jeon Jung Kook met Hwa Young at the Freshmen Entrance Ceremony. Now, at first glance, Jeon Jung Kook is scary, intimidating and definitely not one to mess around with. However, get to know him and you'll be wearing aegyo defenses all the time. He was loud and a childish prankster. He seemed to bounce all the time and when he wanted something, he was going to get it alright (by whining and sulking and aegyo). His friends (BTS) were no exception (the scary, always wearing black men turn into cute and whiny boys whenever they want something free from the coffee shop Hwa Young works in). However, a little too much, and he can turn into your worst nightmare.

Choi Jun Hong was a long time childhood friend of Hwa Young's. He has been through thick and thin with Hwa Young and he's very protective of her. However, behind his innocent and adorable little looks is a litte devil with the mind capacity of a six year old. He's devious and loves to joke around a lot but he's also childish and blur (not comprehending the situation most of the time). He was hilariously funny but he was a huge glutton when it came to food. However, he loved to cling to Hwa Young a lot and even his friends (B.A.P) complain about it. Despite that, he keeps trying to prove that he is "manly" to Hwa Young (but fails terribly).

Kim Yeon Ju was Hwa Young's best friend ever since elementary school. If people would observe Yeon Ju and Hwa Young for a second, it almost seems as if Yeon Ju was the unnie taking care of the dongsaeng, Hwa Young; they were of the same age. Yeon Ju had a biting humor but she was witty and intelligent as well as composed (fairly common among wind wielders). However, she had a fierce demeanor when being threatened or corrected. Yeon Ju was a part of EvoL, a group of five orphaned girls who were known to be fierce and mean to strangers and they were one of the groups whose personality was all bark and bite. Hwa Young was close with EvoL but not as close as she is with Yeon Ju, who went by J-Da. Therefore, if you mess with Hwa Young, you'll not only be getting from GLAM but EvoL and EXID as well.

Park Jung Hwa was Hwa Young's best friend ever since middle school. Jung Hwa was a kind and cheerful girl, the girl-next-door everyone would love. She was understanding hence being a very good listener. She was one of those happy-go-lucky kind of people, who went with the flow. But when she needs to be serious, she can be serious and good results tend to result from her hardworking attitude. Jung Hwa was also Hwa Young's roommate; Hwa Young has Jung Hwa to lean on because sometimes, the ferocious J-Da can't help with her biting words. Jung Hwa is the maknae of EXID, a girl group rumored to be rivals with GLAM and EvoL but in reality, are really good friends with the boisterous GLAM and no-bull EvoL.

Song Qian was Hwa Young's role model. She admired Victoria because of her strength and capability. Therefore Victoria became a friendly rival to her especially since Sulli is always dragging Hwa Young off to hang out with F(x). Victoria knew about the little rivalry Hwa Young had with her and spurred her on by helping her and advising her. However, she was usually bubbly and motherly always making sure that Hwa Young was safe whenever she trained with her. Victoria can be a bit eccentric from time to time but she's very patient and doesn't lose her temper that easily. She was always willing to help out others especially Hwa Young.

Jung Soo Jung wasn't really a rival to Hwa Young but more like, she saw Hwa Young as one. Hwa Young had no discrepencies with Krystal but it seemed like Krystal always wanted to beat her in everything. She was cold and really hard to get close to (even for Social Butterfly Hwa Young). She always seemed to bottle everything up and suffer by herself. It didn't help that her older sister was Jung Soo Yeon or Jessica, a famous Ring Master and Master at the school. Like Hwa Young, her family had a long line of Ring Masters. Therefore, Krystal probably saw Hwa Young as a rival for that position. But what seems strong on the outside is weak and brittle on the inside.

The Good:

Choi Jong Hyun was enthusiastic and cheerful though he was a bit shy. He was always there to care for Hwa Young whenever she would overwork herself. He was sweet and naive. Changjo cared for her a lot. Oh, and she loves his humor because he makes her laugh at unexpected times. He's very quirky and has very interesting ways to make Hwa Young laugh. He truly does love Hwa Young and gets very worried for her whenever he finds her moody the next day. He enjoys trying to steal kisses from her and cuddling to her side.

If there was one thing she loved about Chang Jo, it would be his smile. She thought it was the most beautiful thing in the world that could light up her world anytime.

The Bad:

He was quick to anger again. Yes, he had tremendous amounts of patience. Yet he still had a limit and a breaking point. And that happens when something close to him is hurt. Even so, he doesn't really show his anger like Hwa Young. She believes that sometimes he acts that way because he doesn't want people to be burdened with his problems that's why he helps others and puts on a smile all the time. She doesn't like how he doesn't show his true emotions. It makes her feel bad, like she's being lied to.

He gets extremely jealous and overprotective. It's not that Hwa Young finds it annoying. It's just...sometimes, it gets out of hand and it gets ridiculous.  

How did you meet:

Chang Jo and Hwa Young were classmates ever since elementary school. However, both never really knew about each other. It wasn't until High School when they were put together for a History project did they then meet and socialize. Their parents and families were good friends with each other and they have seen each other at the parties set for their families but they haven't really talked.

What is your relationship with each other: 

Their relationship with each other is a couple relationship. After Chang Jo confessed two years ago, the two love birds have been inseparable. He loves her. She loves him. And yada yada yada, but all in all, they seem like very good friends as well as two people in love. They are always together and they look good together (as complimented by everyone and as boasted by Chang Jo). Their families are close and even their affiliated animals' families are close as well. They bicker sometimes but you can truly see the love they have for each other. Even so, the couple of two years hasn't even kissed yet and Chang Jo is going crazy. All of his friends have had their first kiss but his lips were still meat!

Chang Jo fell first. 

When did he/she fall in love: 

Chang Jo fell in love with her when they were doing their project. They had just finished their first meeting for the History project and were about to head home. ChangJo had left first but he had left his phone in the library where they worked. Hwa Young noticed that his phone was on the table and quickly rushed after him. Chang Jo was already picked up and on the way back home. But Hwa Young forgot to call for her driver and went running after his car. In the rain. It was heavily raining and Hwa Young was soaked from head to toe when she rang the door bell. Chang Jo opened the door and found his phone on an outstretched palm. Hwa Young was haggard and tired from running. Her uniform was wet and her hair was drenched, covering her face. However, at that moment, interestingly enough, Chang Jo fell for her and in the coming days, he would fall even more.

When does the other fall in love: 

Chang Jo had insisted to walk her home after one of their meetings for the project. And since he insisted, she had no choice but to relent. As they were walking and chatting, a biker almost ran into Hwa Young and out of instinct, she had moved to the side recklessly, causing her to fall on her side and sprain her ankle. With her ability to walk limited, Chang Jo told her to climb onto his back and he'll carry her home. At first she declined but he kept on insisting and she found herself clutching onto his neck. As they were walking home, it was silent but an enjoyable silence. Hwa Young fell for him then and began to fall in love with him even more in the coming days.
