BAP "Coffee Shop" Song/Mv Review

Okay! I actually really really LOVE this song. Yes, compared to other BAP songs, this is a pretty chill and relaxed song in my opinion. I mean, I'm sure there are some people who are like "Oh my god, what is this? It's so unlike BAP." I admit, I agree with you guys on this. However, some of you make it out to seem like it an immensely bad thing. If that's the case, it changes everything. I honestly think change or more like a little twist is good once in a while. I love BAP's hardcore charimatic songs such as "Warrior," "Power," and "One Shot," however, I also really like it when they do songs like "Coffee Shop." Why? For me, it's just a general group thing, y'know? I find that, with songs like this, it lets the listeners/viewers get a better drift of their vocal abilities. Someone who I was VERY surprised by was actually Zelo. Now maybe this is just because I am not a hard core Baby, but I didn't know his voice was so angelic and beautiful and serenading. Haha. I was just completely mind blown. Again I say, it's just my opinion and it's just the way I see things.

The lyrics are actually quite nice. I don't know about all of you, but I really loved everything about this song and music video. The lyrics are basically talking about the difficulties of forgeting someone and how the mind just uncautiously always goes back to this person you're trying to forget. I find that the lyrics are actually most likely very relatable to people. I thought so because, I know a lot people who will try to relive their memories with their past partner or they would go back to the places where they would always go to. And that's basically what the mv was about, or from what I could decipher from it. I don't know, I just really liked the lyrics. As for music video wise, I just really loved it. They were able to portray each member as if the song were just about them..if you get what I mean. For example, when the camera is on a certain member, they're at a certain particular place. For them, that could possibly be their "coffee shop" where they would go to reminiscence about the past. They were also all very attractive as usual. I don't know guys, my bias list started to drift apart because of this mv.

Wrapping up what I'm trying to say. I just completely loved everything about this song/mv. The music or song didn't really remind me anything of Kpop. It reminded more of Kindie, which is Korean Indie. And if you guys didn't know, I am a HUGE Kindie fan. The overall mood this gives me is a pretty..good mood I guess. It's one of those songs where I would listen to while drinking coffee either in the morning or while watching the sunset. It just gives off this really good mood in my opinion. Even though the lyrics are about forgetting a past lover, torwards the end they start hinting with the lyrics, saying they're slowly getting over it and life isn't so bad without this person.

I absolutely loved this song and music video. I don't know guys. Tell me what you all thought.

I love the song itself, but honestly, I don't think that it suits their style. I do like this style of songs a lot, but I think that B.A.P should make more hip-hop and rap songs like one shot, power and no mercy. I am definitely not trying to hate on the song, I think is is a great song and they sang it very well, I just don't think that it really fits B.A.P's style of music. It was said that the group's songs were inspired by hip-hop, so they should make more hip hop songs. Don't get me wrong, it is a great song, it's just not one of my favorites. Overall, the song was great and I loved it. And also, this is just MY OPINION, I'm not trying to start an argument about B.A.P and this song.

Hello :D
I really liked this song too , more than a lot of their previous songs.. I agree with the Kindie part. I'm a huge fan of k indie myself so i can see some similarities in the melody and the singing style.
I think that the song itself has a soft jazz feeling -i'm a fan of jazz too lol-. But that was to be expected since b.a.p teamed up with Song Young Joo (he is a jazz pianist)
All in all i believe that the song expresses a very relaxing feeling and though the lyrics are kinda sad it only gives you a soft melancholic feelings. I found i new song to play in my mp3 while riding the bus/travelling for hours everyday xD
