Drama Recommendation

Drama Recommendations

The Innocent Man (Aka Nice Guy) -

The Innocent Man is a brilliant drama. No really, it is. The story was very well written, and the scenes weren't choppy, unlike many other Dramas I've seen. From the very beginning of the drama, you'll notice it has a rather dark and heavy atmosphere to it. And believe me, it only continues to grow as you keep watching. I would honestly recommend this drama to anyone. It has just the right amount of mystery and drama, along with romantic (cute) scenes that will literally tear your heart apart. I say if you're a kdrama or just plan drama fanatic, this is a must watch for you. For me personally wise, I really enjoyed watching this drama. While watching watching The Innocent Man, I was literally sitting on the edge of my chair the whole entire time. The character development was magnificent. I have never seen characterization this brilliant before, so, obviously I would be amazed. This drama has got to have the most gradual change in its' characters. Now, this is not really a spoiler, but yeah. They DID pull the amnesia card, but don't worry. It will all work out, and it only helps lead to the main plot point at the end of the drama. I would say, this is the very first drama that I absolutely LOVED and enjoyed everything about. It's very interesting and I gurentee you will love this drama. Song Joonki also plays the lead male role in this drama as Kang Maru. I'll just say this now. I have the biggest kdrama crush on him and his y .

Reply 1997 (Answer Me 1997)

I absolutely loved this drama. Now I didn't watch it at first because I thought it was..lame. Or well, I just never really thought about coming to this drama. However, what got me to watch this particular drama was because I was absolutely bored and had nothing to do. Well guess what. I ended up watching this drama, and I literally didn't sleep and finished the whole series in 2-3 days. Yeah. I couldn't stop watching. THIS WAS HOW  MUCH I LOVED THIS DRAMA. I absolutely adored each and every character. And something I really loved about Reply 1997 was that, they had a gay character (PLAYED BY HOYA OF INFINITE. omg). Now this isn't something you will see often in the kdrama world. It showed that, even if you are the same as the person you love, it's still love. Nothing changes, y'know? So I was super happy about this particular fact. I just really fell in love with every character. Now, the foreshawdowing was completely brilliant. I can't even tell you how much I loved it. Now typically I will be able to point out the foreshawdowing events, but this drama surprised so much. Either I wasn't paying attention enough in this drama, or the script writers just really knew their way to surprise it's viewers. I absolutely loved it. And speaking about the script writers. Holy crap. Just a word of warning. Yeah, they will troll you so hard. I can't even. soidofheo But nontheless, you will love this drama. And guess what! I'm pretty sure you'll love the ending as well. Because in this drama, they actually give you a WHOLE episode of an ending, and not some last minute problem shiet. ;D I know I loved the ending. But then again, I loved A LOT of things from Reply 1997. By the way, Seo In Guk is an amazing kisser, and don't be ashamed if you become ually frustrated because of him. LOL I'm joking. But yeah. His kisses. idfhd.

Dream High 1

This was the drama that made me fall head over heals for Kim Soo Hyun. Aside from Song Joongki and Lee Minki, Kim Soo Hyun is my ultimate Korean actor crush. Seriously. ANYWAYS THOUGH. This drama was so amazing. The thing I loved the most about this drama though was the music. I can't even explain how amazing the music was but. dosaidhao Now I was actually surprised by how many stars/idols that were in this particular drama. Such as IU, Suzy (Miss A), Taecyeon (2pm), Wooyoung (2pm), and Eunjung (T-ARA). Oh! Let's also not forget the awesome J.Y. Park. So Hyemi, the lead female character. I was seriously very surprised by who she ended up with. IT WAS HAPPY GOOD SUPRISE THOUGH. GAH! Now I'll just say this here and now, but Dream High literally gave me so many feels, and I just absolutely loved this drama. I'd recommend this to any music lover out there, and people who just love a good Kdrama. And just a side note, but I DID try watching Dream High 2..yeah. It literally killed me. To be honest, I think Dream High 1 was just so good, but Dream High 2 couldn't really compete or anything. I don't really know about Dream High 2, but I sort of just gave up on it because..okay. I'll be blunt. I just thought it was outright horrible. I felt like Kirin Highschool just completely lost it's meaning in that drama, and it just totally ruined everything for me. Sorry if this offends anyone, but I just literally didn't like Dream High 2. BUT YEAH. DREAM HIGH 1 WAS AMAZING. Watch it.

Operation Proposal

Operation Proposal was absolutely phenominal. I admit, the whole time traveling thing for me was very strange, and it did get very repetitive. However, the messages this drama gives you are amazing. Such as things like, if you don't become the change you want, then there will never be a change at all. The characterization/character development was drop dead terrific. The changes in the characters were so gradual, and I just loved that. I've said this is my review I've written for this drama, and I will say it again. The last three episodes nearly killed me. I cried A LOT. And there's a good change you will cry too. This whole drama just have a very nostalgic feel to it, and along with that, there are traces of regret and confusion hanging in the atmosphere. It's a very well written storyline, and the play of events were absolutely amazing. I'd recommend this to people who aren't afraid of a little unique twist in the Kdrama world.

You're Beautiful

This was actually the very first drama that I really loved. I would say You're Beautiful was the pathway of leading me to the Kdrama world. Now, anyways, this drama will forever be one of my all time favorites. The characters were great, and the casting was even more great. I have this great love for Park Shin Hye, Jang Geun Suk, Yonghwa, and Lee Hongki. Seeing them all together. Ohmahgerd. ♥ I also really loved the music in this drama. My personal favorite was Without Words Jang Geun Suk version. This particular drama was just very entertaining to watch. I loved seeing Lee Hongki and YongHwa acting for the first time. I absolutely fell in love with them even more. Lee Hongki's bus scene was very very emotional, and it just proves how great of an actor he is. This was actually the first drama where I've seen such a bus scene. It was very unique and smart, however, they did have the typical bus chase scene as well. But welp. ♥ I loved this drama, and I'd recommend this to once again, any music lover and people who just love a good kdrama.

That Winter The Wind Blows -

This drama was beautiful in every way. The cinematography was phenominal along with the amazing casting. Jo In Sung, oohlala. I can't even tell you how much I loved the casting. Every actor/actress was literally perfect for the role. The music was also pure beauty. I just loved this drama so much. Now you may read the drama description and be kind of like "wat." but believe me, don't be discouraged by the description. The story is actually very unique and builds itself up very well. I myself was iffy about watching this drama. I thought the storyline just sounded completely..stupid. And visually wise, I thought the main lead male actor was drop dead horrid looking and way too old. Yeah, well, I was WRONG. The storyline, although how odd it sounds, it was actually very interesting to watch. It was very new to me personally wise because I've never actually seen anything like this before. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't surprised or amazed by how well they worked everything together. As for the lead male actor. Holy crap guys. I'll just drop the formalities now, but DAMMNNN. In his photos, I would say he's not as attractive, but when you see him act and as you continue to watch, you will literally fall head over heals for him. No joke. As the story progresses his character and him in general will grow on you so much, and ugh. I can't even explain it anymore. Just again, don't be discouraged by the storyline or how the characters look. It's truly an amazing and beautiful drama, and once again, I would recommend this drama to anyone. I've never actually liked a drama this much since "The Innocent Man." If this isn't a big enough reason for you to watch this, then I'll just let you know that the beautiful and handsome Kim Bum is in this drama. Hurhurhur.
