Summer Writing Program Probs

I currently have quite a dilemma. 

I am applying for this summer writing program, and the sample of my work that I am submitting is my story "The Endless Seasons" since it is my best work so far. 

However, I am afraid that if they do a plagiarism check- that they will think that I copied the story and either

a) throw my app away

b) blacklist me from the program

or c) both a and b

Any suggestions as to what I should do? Since I would really like to attend this program. :/

I'm assuming "The Endless Seasons" is a work posted either on AFF or livejournal. Perhaps somewhere in your application, you can indicate/inform them that you are part of a community like AFF or lj and wrote the work you're submitting under a penname/the username you used. It's better to give them a heads up than having them do the actual plagiarism check adn disqualify you.

How about mark it as "Friends Only" until the entire program is done?

It helps that you posted a blog about it, so you can use it to defend yourself for later issues.
