the sugar to the cake, the chocolate-chips to the cookie, the cream to the coffee, yun is the sweet, kindhearted girl that most people admire. she's romantic but not unrealistic, soft-spoken but stubborn, compassionate but not easily-bullied. yoo-jin, more commonly known as yun, is the neighborhood sweetheart. she's always willing to give a hand to someone in need -- an elderly woman with groceries, a man struggling to walk his three dogs, and even the grumpy old man who always seems to hate everything. a small smile is always present on her face no matter what she does and it's that trait that earns her the nickname of "the smiling angel". yun is a friendly girl who will never pass someone without a kind gesture. she's sweet and kind, with everyone's best interests in her heart.

born and raised in london, england, yun has always been a rather cultured and open-minded child. her parents are middle to upper class doctors who make more than enough to keep the family running. as a child, yun was allowed to take on anything she wanted and art and photography were her choices. though her father wanted to see his daughter become a doctor like him, he allowed her to take art classes and photography lessons, and personally on her sixteenth birthday, bought her an expensive dsl camera. yun was actually a boarding student from the age of eleven and attended wycombe abbey until she graduated at age eighteen. she was accepted into the university of cambridge and became a photography major. she studied under many experts for two years before the offer to go to paris to study was given to her.

how you met: during one of iris's photography expeditions in london, she happened upon the tall and elegant gentleman who made her feel as if her world had turned upside down. since he had just moved to the city, she showed him around and the two blossomed feelings for each other after only a few hours of knowing each other.
relationship: boyfriend-girlfriend. two months after their first meeting in 2008, he finally asked her to be his girlfriend. the two were "perfect" -- romantic, happy, and always so honest with each other. but as time went on and their lives became busier and busier, the two began to get distant and broke up in 2010. within three weeks, however, the two were back together in each other's arms and continued their relationship. she was encouraged by kris to go to paris to further her photography career, but even yun was beginning to feel the spark between the two of them begin to fade. the two have been fighting to relight the fire that their relationship had once been ever since they got back together.

how you met: on her first day in paris, yun was hopelessly lost in the beautiful city. however, a handsome boy saw her lost expression underneath the eiffel tower and offered her a tour of the city. the two spent the rest of the day together -- shopping, touring, eating, etc. before she returned to her residence, however, they exchanged contact information, promising to meet in the future.
relationship: it was love at first sight for jb. one look at the slender korean girl with the blank expression and long brown hair and he was gone. though he became heartbroken upon hearing the relationship status of his "noona", he still pursued her. yun, who has been struggling to keep her relationship alive with kris for two years, found a new light in jb. he was younger than her by almost three years, but she saw a man underneath the dyed platinum blonde hair, loud b-boy clothes, and cute personality. the two became ever closer as her stay in paris became longer and longer, and soon, yun was finding herself falling in love with a new sweetheart that was not her boyfriend.
