back up : jiyoung style : yoojin is very modest and conservative in the way she's dressed, but she's definitely no nun. instead of being overly ual and showing off her figure, she chooses to wear whatever compliments her skin tone and personal style. yoojin tends to be more feminine when she's at school or going out with friends, opting for a colorful sundress and a cardigan with flats and a cute messenger bag. on cold days, she'll prefer skinny jeans, high tops, a loose t-shirt, and a large knit cardigan. when she's at home, she'll wear whatever is comfortable, which can sometimes be an issue because yoojin likes to walk around the house with only a large t-shirt and super short spandex, but most of the times, she'll be presentable and wear a hoodie with yoga pants. overall, she likes comfort over style. cardigans, hoodies, flats, hightops and sundresses are what makes up most of her wardrobe. height & weight : 168cm + 53kg extras : she has a scar on the side of her neck from an accident when she was young. she was playing with her brother, but she slipped and hit the corner of a table.
appearance : she has a figure, but it isn't one of those that makes men do a double-take when she walks by. her height is above average for a korean girl her age, but she's rather slender with long legs and a short-ish torso. yoojin's figure is slightly boyish, but she has a nice waist and enough cleavage to keep her (somewhat) lowcut sundress in place. her hair is either straightened and left down or in a ponytail or bun. yoojin isn't one for excessive beautification (is that even a word) and tries to keep it simple.
personality traits : awkward, witty, studious, and easy-going. personality : as president of the student body at the school, most people would expect yoojin to be an uptight little monster, however, she's actually rather chill and easy-going, but that doesn't mean she's a pushover. she runs the school in a way that makes people smile when they hear her name instead of wanting to murder her. yoojin has been president of her class for a few years now, so she's used to all the extra duties she has. strong-minded and tough, yoojin makes sure that students are doing what they should be doing: studying and enjoying high school life. there are people who don't like her, including the studious and rebellious kids. yoojin is rather extroverted, but she's also awkward at times. she misses certain social cues and can be quite oblivious to certain things, like when an atmosphere becomes tense or when someone is trying to hint at something. yoojin tries her best to be street smart, but she's spent most of her life reading and studying, so her book smarts pretty much always outweigh her street smarts. yoojin is like hermione in a nutshell; her studies are her priority to the point that she'll forget to eat or sleep when she's in the "zone". it's hard being the "well-rounded" high school girl and yoojin understands exactly how it feels. she's the president and valedictorian, but she constantly has to deal with her "friends" that want nothing but her fall from grace. when she's not in an academic setting, the true bubbly and witty yoojin comes out. she likes to talk and is a rather open person, but she definitely knows when to keep a secret. her sarcasm and dry sense of humor are some of her most attractive charms, but its her true heart that shines above all. yoojin is an honest person, to the point where it can be insulting and hurtful, and because of her lack of social graces, she doesn't understand how to recognize emotions in other people. she's impulsive and rarely thinks before she speaks or acts, which usually lands her into some sticky situation. as her brother usually says, her fatal flaw is her recklessness. one of her other charms is her four-dimensional personality. she's pretty strange and she knows it, but from what her best friend tells her, it's endearing and only adds to her attractiveness. random thoughts pop into her head and she'll react to things in a way that most people would find quite weird. overall, yoojin is a generally slightly above average girl. she's not so beautiful to the point that boys are falling at her feet 24/7, but she has her share of admirers and crushes. she has a genuine heart and a true inclination to those that are in need. all she needs is someone to share her heart with and to show her the ropes of how to survive in the streets of seoul. likes : coffee, tea, antiques, retro music (nancy sinatra, elvis presley, lana del rey), anything vintage, books, modern art, summer and spring, the color pink, k-dramas, horror movies, amusement parks dislikes : loud music, the dark, enclosed spaces/crowds (she's claustrophobic), people who don't try, sweet foods, cold weather, mondays habits : when she's under stress or contemplating something, she'll bite on her bottom lip, she'll crack her knuckles before every test, when she's bored, she'll start playing with her fingers and tapping her leg, when she's sleepy, she'll tilt her head to the left and right to try to "shake" out the sleepiness, she has a tendency to wear her headphones even when no music is playing, when she doesn't understand something, she'll tap whatever writing utensil is in her hand on her paper. hobbies : studying, reading, drawing, cooking, playing soccer, listening to music, going to the park and taking pictures, antique-ing with her best friend trivia : -yoojin is on the school's female soccer team. she is the center midfielder. -she is an excellent artist because it's the only way for her express her emotions. because she's so awkward at times, yoojin can freely express the way she feels through her sketches and drawings. she always has her sketchbook with her. -when she has her headphones on, it means "do not disturb or be strangled to death." -she actually really despises mondays because those are her busiest days. soccer practice, model united nations meetings, student body council meetings, and double study blocks are what she faces on mondays. -she likes to cook, but is actually pretty bad at it. her brother calls it "toxic waste", but yoojin insists that its "creative". -she loves to read just about anything, but she loves gothic horror (v.c. andrews and vladimir nobokov) and just plain horror (stephen king) the most. yoojin loves anything of the horror genre because she finds it so mysterious and suspenseful. -for her sixteenth birthday, her brother gave her a dsl camera and a "photography for dummies" book to make her find another hobby besides studying. ever since then, yoojin has spent her free time walking around the city taking pictures of just about anything (think of humans of new york on facebook). -about 80% of the furniture and decorations in her room are antiques. her dresser, bed, and nightstand were all made in the 1920s and her sheets were bought from a modern store that sells vintage-fashioned clothes/furniture/interior items. -she likes a lot of types of music, just not the dubstep, metal stuff. her favorites are retro and 1950-1960s era music, but she also loves k-pop, regular pop, hip-hop, rap, and classical. -yoojin is a surprisingly heavy sleeper. there were frequent times that her brother would have to flip her mattress to wake her up. -yoojin isn't necessarily "popular" in school. she's well-known since one, she's the president of her class and two, she's on the soccer team and three, her brother is THE park jaebum, who made dance history at her high school; however, she's not part of the queenka/kingka group. -when yoojin is studying, she can literally go for ten hours straight and not blink an eye. -she may be young and a bit lacking in street smarts, but sometimes, her big mouth can make some of the dirtiest jokes out there. -she's not a jumpy or ticklish person. when someone tries to scare or startle her, she might be scared, but she won't scream or jump. the only indication of her fear is that her eyes will go wider than d.o. -she has no intentional aegyo, meaning if you ask her to do "buing-buing" or the gwiyomi song, she'll look so awkward that you would feel embarrassed for her; however, when she's not doing it intentionally, like when she's frustrated and blows out her cheeks or when she wakes up and rubs her eyes and pouts, it's really adorable. -she calls her brother "shorty" to annoy him since she's only an inch shorter than him. -she is fluent in english and korean, having been raised in seattle until she was seven, when she moved to seoul. background : born and raised in the rainy city of seattle, yoojin enjoyed the atmosphere of the united states until she was seven years old when her parents, two business moguls, moved their headquarters to seoul, south korea. for the first year, yoojin struggled with adapting because of the language barrier, but soon, she became fluent in korean. because her parents are always busy and traveling the world, yoojin was raised mostly by her older brother of ten years, jay park. due to his protective nature, yoojin was sheltered for a lot of her life, which is one of the main reasons she lacks a sharp street sense or observation skills. she's lived a relatively easy and luxurious life; her home is a five-bedroom apartment in gangnam-gu that she shares with her family, but mostly, her brother. current lifestyle : as a high school student, yoojin's daily schedule is pretty monotonous. wake up, go to school, soccer practice, go home, shower, homework, dinner, more homework, "one" episode of a drama, and sleep. on weekends, she'll always be with her best friend, whether they're going to the park or vintage stores. because her family is pretty well-off, yoojin never needed to find a part time job; she receives a biweekly allowance of one hundred dollars from her parents. her alone freetime is usually spent with a book or her drawing pad. family : jaebum "jay" park / 26 / around yoojin, he's protective, warm-hearted, and humorous, but in general, he's a big dork who sometimes has the maturity of a twelve year old. overall, he's a nice and easy-going person (it runs in the park family) / dance teacher for sidusHQ/underground b-boyer / jay and yoojin have an impossibly strong relationship. because their parents are rarely around, jay has become both her mother and father while still having to be her brother. he's rather easy-going, but tends to be protective and strict when it comes to his sister. he doesn't give her too much freedom, but he's not stifling. he'll ask her to check up with him once in a while when she's out with her friends and will absolutely tolerate no bad behavior from her. he expects her to finish her studies at the top of her class and head to seoul national university. yoojin sees jay as a role model and usually is very open with him. in return, jay trusts her judgment completely. yoohyun park / 50 / easy-going, awkward, soft-spoken / businessman / their relationship is distant and very formal. even though he visits his children at least once a month, it is very obvious that he knows next to nothing about them; however, he cares about them deeply and does not approve of how sheltered yoojin has become because of jay's protectiveness. jaemi kim / 49 / carefree, social, warm-hearted / businesswoman / yoojin's carefree and honest soul was inherited from her mother. similar to her father, yoojin is distant from her mother but still loves her dearly. like her husband, jaemi does not like how sheltered jay has kept yoojin. friends : zelo / 17 / free-spirited, rebellious, energetic / high school student / zelo and yoojin were desk partners during middle school. he kept on annoying her whenever he asked to copy her homework. they worked out a deal when yoojin realized that junhong was very good at history (which she at). she would let him copy her homework if he tutored her in history. lee hi / 17 / soft-spoken, mature, level-headed / high school student / the vice-president of the student body, lee hi and yoojin met in their first year of high school as competitors for the presidency. when yoojin won and the sole vice-president candidate was pulled out the race for failing a class, people wrote in lee hi's name as vice-president. bestfriend : oh hayoung / 17 / carefree, mischievous, daring / high school student / they have been friends since elementary school. hayoung was the only girl "brave" enough to approach yoojin when she first moved to seoul and they became friends instantly. she refers to herself as yoojin's personal korean tutor, which is probably very true. enemies: park eun-ah / 17 / competitive, tough, strong-minded / high school student / as the salutatorian of the class, eun-ah is pretty bitter against yoojin. she's one of her close "friends", but has never felt anything but inferior to the girl. eun-ah had also run for president but lost, tried out for the soccer team but was cut, tried out model un but had such a fear for public speaking that she puked in front of everyone during her first conference, and of course, studied her off every year but always fell short of yoojin. the other girl, completely oblivious to eun-ah's bitter heart, believes that they are friends and are on good terms. eun-ah has held in everything for the past four years and kept her anger in. she can deal with the fact that yoojin has always been academically better than her, but the one thing she can't deal with is the fact that her longtime crush and best friend, jungkook, is suddenly interested in little miss blank.

back up : -- relationship : pretty much strangers, well, yoojin admires him from afar. personality : he's rather mysterious, but also rather popular in school. no one really knows much about him or his life, except that his best friend is park eun-ah. jungkook is very charming and adorable, with an eyesmile and a smirk that pretty much make anyone do anything he wants. he can be awkward and bit blunt, but he has good intentions. jungkook is actually really smart, but he sees no point in studying and is perfectly fine with his slipping grades. he can be a bit immature with a childish stubborness and jealousy to him, but he's just a normal teenager with a not-so-normal life. life style : he's a high school student who has a secret life that no one knows about, even his best friend. teenager by day. adult by night. although he's only 17, jungkook's nightlife centers around club bulletproof, where he's the dancing machine and the noonas' favorite. he lives in gangnam as well, yoojin knows that much since she's seen his file when she was sending out "failing grade" notices to students. interactions : you could call yoojin a curious girl with a crush. she's never really been in love before or had a boyfriend, so she's pretty inexperienced when it comes to the world of romance. she likes jungkook because (he's freaking hawt/adorable/everything in between) because he's so mysterious and like a puzzle that she has to solve. you can pretty much say that she's attracted to his bad boy charm and mysterious aura, but jay is dead set against her interacting with him. when she pointed him out in the photo that jay showed her, his immediate reaction was to tell her to stay away from him, but yoojin can only be sheltered and a good girl for so long before she starts yearning for some adventure and color in her life. before the photo incident, yoojin and jungkook had barely said anything to each other. the only interaction they had was when yoojin gave him his failing grade notice and told him to pull it up so he could graduate. the only thing he did was laugh and say, "are you stupid?". besides that, the only interaction they had would be yoojin staring at him and blushing whenever he did something cute. after yoojin confronted him, his demeanor towards her changed. he began sticking around her to make sure that she wouldn't say anything. after realizing that she wouldn't say anything, he became more relaxed; however, he found that he couldn't pull himself away to become strangers again. how'd you guys meet : they have been classmates since high school. as the popular boy of the grade, jungkook was known by everyone. trivia : -he lives a similar life to yoojin. his older brother raised him since his lawyer parents are always so busy. -he knows that eun-ah loves him, however, he doesn't return her feelings. -his relationship with his parents is much different from yoojin's--he's very bitter and angry towards them. -he doesn't like it when people ask him questions about his private life. -after him and yoojin become close, he never stops teasing her or trying to make her flustered. -the thing he says the most to yoojin is, "are you stupid?". at the beginning of their relationship, he means it in a slightly insulting way, but later on, he uses that phrase to poke fun at her. how is club bulletproof? : um... it's pretty much everything i dislike. it has loud music, an excessive amount of noise, and crowds of people. i didn't really like it. do you like drinking/smoking? : i'm seventeen... and have you even met my brother? if i ever so much picked up a glass of anything alcoholic, he would tape me to himself so that i would never leave his side. which bulletproof staff member you think you'd get along best as a friend ? : taehyung. he's seems like a really strange and different guy, which is pretty awesome, since i'm the same. scene requests : the confrontation scene, please! yoojin brings the photo with her to school and pulls jungkook away from his friends to question him about it. he gets flustered and snatches the photo away before telling her to leave the situation alone and running away. frustrated by his refusal to answer her, yoojin tries to get into the club that night, but is of course, turned down by jin for being underage (which was pretty obvious seeing that she was in her school uniform at the time). out of reckless impulsiveness, yoojin takes advantage of the fact that her brother has a late class that night and pulls out her most revealing, body-hugging dress that she owns (a prank gift from hayoung) and a pair of ridiculous high heels (...hayoung). with that get-up, she manages to make it past jin by blending in with a group of college students. when she's in, she realizes how stupid and reckless she was, but she is determined to finish her job and easily finds jungkook; however, it's impossible to get to him because of the crowd. she gets hit on by a very shady guy who becomes angry and aggressive at her refusal, but is saved by jungkook and his "are you stupid?". after that, he finally answers her questions and makes her promise not to tell. questions ?
