About More than Lovers, Less than Friends

linking it anyway.

i want to say, this is one of my personal favorites out of all the the compilation. it might not be the best in terms of style and structure (i know i still have to work on my writing), but… it just gives me a pleasant feeling when i re-read it. the whole concept, in fact, is one of my favorites. two persons with a road that expands in front of them, and nothing to worry about more than themselves. i don't know, it gives me all kinds of feels. especially if they're sunggyu and woohyun.

originally the trip was going to last longer, and it was going to take more time for woohyun to find sunggyu. then, i realized that if focused more on that, there would be less space to describe what happens when he finds sunggyu, or if he finds him at all. and also, the scene of the car that i sort of marks a turning point for them had to be included somewhere; after all, it's because of that scene that the story has a significant turning point (i…guess…). the end, however, didn't convince me much (but when do they…). it feels too rushed, but hey, maybe that's me *shrugs*

about the characters, i tried to make them different from my other stories, yet i can't help but compare them; especially with parallel lines's. it might be the focus. i have to start writing more in sunggyu's focus (because i can't, for the love of my life, write in omniscient pov). sunggyu's behavior feels sort of ooc; something along the lines of "this is something dongwoo would do," like hoya said. also, woohyun feels like the 'weak one' on this relationship––not that it has to be a weak one on a relationship ever, no––and sunggyu kind of sees it.

that was actually the main point of the story, and oddly enough ("oddly enough" i like this term, please bear with me and my redundancy) i discovered it along the way. like in a trip. woohyun started with little no idea of where to go, and so did it. where do i want this story to go? i'm glad it turned out like this. i just hope the dialogues weren't too sappy.

as an ending note, i must say that pony pony run run is awesome. the story wouldn't exist if it wasn't for 'hey you'.

*awkward end*
