BOARDING SCHOOL BLOG; Dorm life
Hello everybody!
Juliet here. As some of you may or may not know, I'm living at my new boarding school now. I share a room with a very lively girl as I wrote in my previous blog post. And It's going well - we're good friends. We made a deal that we could always entrust each other everything and we find each other interesting too. As I said before: We learn from each other. I learn how to be more open-minded, and she learn how to be peaceful and enjoy the small things in life, like I do. It's awesome.
Yet.. A thing I think will be the most challenging for me this next year must be this dorm life. I live in a dorm with girls only, but guys are allowed to visit us anytime. And somehow, my room as turned into a public place where everybody just WALK inside and do whatever the heck they want. Perhaps it's because of my social room mate, but I don't blame her. It's not her fault that people can't respect that sometimes roomie and I want to be alone with our homeworks and whatnot.
Today I walked into a strange scene. I opened the door to my room, and inside three guys were giving another guy a haircut. There was hair everywhere on the floor, and people everywhere in my tiny tiny room. But I just kinda.. went along with it. Because I didn't want to ruin their fun. Still, I had an essay to write and I pretty much wanted to be alone at that time. Then, as I kindly asked if they next time would cut people's hair somewhere else, this stupid, arrogant guy blurted: "Oh Shut up, Juliet! Can't you just go away?"
....
It's my room.
It's my room.
It's my room.
IT'S.MY.ROOM.
If anybody has to go away, it's them! Aish.. My roomie told him to off too. He's always like that to people. Idiot.
Thankfully I'm alone right now. I like alone time.. even if that mgiht sound very antisocial. I just sometimes need to be with myself without people all around me. That's just how I am. I like being with people, but I cherish time alone too. ♥
