Why I Find My BB Suspect

Onew is suspect, and I'm going to tell you why. Pull up a chair and don't interrupt me

 

 

Right, so, as you all know, Lee Jinki is my Shinee bias. For those who REALLY know me, you know that I spazz over EVERY ing thing he does, or every picture I come across. I am on him like white on rice.

So it should come as no surprise to you that I speak my mind about him, no matter what it is. 

-gulp-

And I am here to say that...I believe that my bb is gay. 

NOT because all the fan fics I've read have convinced me. NOT because other MVPs insist on it. NOT because I want him to be and NOT because he's done the cross-dressing thing before or that he's a pretty boy. I mean, the latter is like 99.99% of Kpop.

I say this out of my own observations. And I don't know if I have gay-dar or not (and if I do, if its even accurate), but certain things are proving more and more to me that Onew may be genuinely homoual. Or maybe homoflexible-the phrase coined by a certain oppa of mine. Which means he leans more toward men.

So I suggest you don't read this if you are easily offended, or if you feel like my opinions will upset you. 

Now some of these reasons may seem silly, insufficient, misplaced or irrational to you, and that is fine. Keep in mind I watch Onew like a hawk and left-field insinuations from my deranged obsession are likely to ensue. 

Reason 1: His Indifference Toward Women/Girls

I've  noticed a lot that whenever Shinee has to do something that involves pretty "noonas" and whatnot, Onew is like -_- most times. Like, he'll smile and be all plastic like he's prone/supposed to do. But you can tell it doesn't interest him that much- in comparison to how interested the other members are. In that dating show they did shortly after their debut (Yunhanam) Onew really didn't try his BEST to woo the noonas. I mean, he was himself (sweet, awkward, polite and utterly ADORABLE) and he had his moments, yet to me, it was nothing like how Jonghyun and Minho tried. Then there was an episode where the noonas had to pick who there favorite was at the end, and Onew didn't get picked (when ALL of the others had been picked in past episodes...it was episode 9 now -_-) Onew went off by himself and kinda sing-songed "I don't care" while the others sorta about it. But instead of me feeling sorry for him...I just laughed along with him. Because it sincerely DID look like he didn't care. He was fine being alone and having fun on the "group dates" and stuff. Near the end of the show, he ACTED all disgusted that comedian woman had decided to pick him, yet it was clear he really wasn't. Him being him, he thought it was funny. (And personally, I feel like the PDs and whatnot  staged that for him, because they thought the viewers aka MVPs, general shawols would get upset that Dubu wasn't getting any love. I, as jealous , would not concur. haha. Moving on...)

Reason 2: His Skinship

Now, before I get into this, let me make it painstakingly clear that I am WELL aware that skinship among people of the same over in Korea is perfectly normal. 

That said, it is not normal that for as long as I've been an MVP, I have NEVER seen Onew show skinship with a female. Not even with a close female friend. I've even seen him show skinship with AHJUMMAS.

Like, if any of you has seen the skinship that I haven't seen, please point it out to me. Because Dria ain't sold.

Even with LUNA (whom I cannot stand) I don't see of anything. But let him get around a bunch of es, and its a caress here and a touch here. Very real, very not-so-friendly sometimes-yeah, I said it. I've seen him before. I've seen him stare in longing on award shows and such, and whether or not he knows or CARES that the camera is on him is still a mystery (I'm thinking NOT). He's totally comfortable around men. Especially in one show I watched where he just couldn't stop touching the host, a hyung. And DON'T even get me started on Joon O.O He even said so in the 120420 interview when he was talking about unrequited love. "I am not good at talking/flirting with girls…so my friends are guys…are my personality…" 

 

 

 

To ME, thats... inconceivable. That a few years from turning THIRTY, he's STILL uncomfy around girls. I can understand the awkward teenage years, and even the early twenties. But your mid twenties? Sweety, you should be out of that shell by now, ESPECIALLY since you are an idol and you're around woman ALL THE ING TIME, whether they are famous, fans or whatever else. Idk....sigh.

And although this may have to do more with flirting than skinship, I notice whenever the noona hosts ask Shinee about love and who they think is cute, Onew wouldn't give a clear answer or "flatter" the host by saying she is his favorite. While that may just seem like him being his usual, darling self...I see more behind it. Also, in the 120420 interview when the host asked Shinee what kind of "Romeo" they would be towards their significant other, Jonghyun, Taemin, Minho and Key gave legit answers. Onew? Just pointed out that he had a "Romeo-like" hairstyle that day and made a joke about it. Not saying the hair and the joke wasn't cute...it was just irrelevant and ill-placed. Why couldn't he answer like the others? Its not like he'd be thrown under the bus for his answer. (120420 {watch it through} )

Reason 3: His Ideal Type

Is also in relation to Reason 2. You'll see why when you read this.

He says that Jung Ah from AfterSchool is his ideal type.....but then you read "Usually without saying anything specific about his ideal type, but with a consistent AMBIGUOUS answer of ‘SNSD’s Yoona from the makeup CF’, ‘Voice and girls with pretty hands’. Uhm..yeah. So that lets me know that either he just picked her because of her voice (oooo -_-) or (as I've read from another source) he really likes her...abs. HER ABS. Her ing ABS. Not her smile or her hair or her or her . Her ABS. Like, as in, what WOMEN normally admire about men. I could see if the latter was included if he said he liked them. But for you to say just "abs, voice, noona"....I'm like HOHUM. I can name about 3746238947 kpop GUYS who fit that "seeking" description -just substitute noona with HYUNG (whom you are all over ANYWAY) and there you have it. Either he has a female-ab (which would be rare and kinds creepy to me) or its what I think it is.

And you see what happened with the DJ. Same I mentioned in Reason 2. I mean, I know he was "being polite" again but HOW the are you just going to say that you like Jung-ah for her voice but QUICKLY turn around and nonchalantly say the DJ's voice is your ideal type? Like, with no hesitation? You could have just blushed and said sorry or something on equal lines, you know, making it subtly but CLEARLY  known that you would like people to respect your pick. THAT lets me know you aren't all that sincere about Jung-Ah to begin with. (Yall see how analytical I'm becoming? LOL I told you.

And speaking of the ambiguity...okay, so I've read on Twitter some Onewfacts. And he HAS said he wants a girl with a pretty voice, hands, someone who likes him for him, etc. ALSO that he's not too interested in marriage and dating, since he's dedicated to his work. And it was understandable. He's still young and he can do whatever the he wants. BUT THEN...some of the things he put that he wants to be able to do with a wife/gf made me do a double take. Some of that (i.e bungee jumping) sounded like...things you would do with a good friend. Nothing romantic, nothing intimate. Just a buddy to do things with. So THAT, combined with his ambiguous requirements (BECAUSE of the non-intimacy that happens with normal couples that he speaks of) that leans more towards the fact that he doesn't care PERIOD about being with a woman, and less towards the modest "oh, I don't really care what she looks like" card.

/exhale GOD this nit picking is killing me.

BTW, the bungee jumping thing is to each his own. But personally, I'd like a man to treat me to dinner on a first date, not treat me like "one of the boys" and have me flounce off to risk my life. We can go indoor sky diving though, I think that sounds fun LOL

*****Reason 4: LOL WUT

“Even when I see y women, I’ll look straight ahead and keep walking.” - Onew #OnewFACTS 

I know most of you will  take this as, "Oh, that means he isn't a pig. He doesn't care for flashy women, etc etc." And you are wholly entitled to think that. Even to a certain extent, I think that.

HOWEVER.

Read that again.

We all know how polite and nice Onew is. And we know that if he were walking down the street, he'd probably greet people, whether they say hey first or not. THIS gives me the impression that when he does see y women walking by, he's not even ASSED enough to spare her a PASSING glance. Like, he'd actually be RUDE if she tried to talk to him. Like, as he's walking up and sees that he's about to pass her, he's like "ugh, this " and has it in head to pretend he's looking elsewhere so she can take a hint or whatever. I just...lol...I see him doing that. BECAUSE I also know Onew can be a bit of an when he wants to be. And I don't see it as being too shy either although that sounds like a good reason and I'm seeing in my head about him being mean about it. 

Furthermore, and most importantly, this lets me know an attractive woman means week old ball sack to him. But he'll say Minho is "handsome" in a hot second, all smiles. (Now that I think about it, I've never really heard him say he thinks a woman is attractive before. Hm)

Reason 5: Etude and Dara

Probably one of my more sillier reasons, and also goes hand-in-hand with Reason 1.

And to THAT, I say bull-a . ALL OF A SUDDEN he gets "sick" when he has to kiss Dara. Likely story bro, tell it again.


Reason 6: Jonghyun's B-day on Hello Baby

Another silly. Keep in mind about what I said about knowing how same friends are really close in Korea.

When Onew got Jonghyun underwear and a bouquet of roses for his 21st. And what Jonghyun had said about his "coming of age" package deal. 

I mean...out of all flowers...red roses.

I refuse to speak of the undies. Even TAEMIN died at that.


Reason 7: Self Explanatory...

Yes I know its a musical and he's acting, but the bashful look, laugh, and shoulder shrug afterwards....sigh

AND WHY THE ARE THEY KISSING ANYWAY? Isn't Brothers Were Brave about brothers and their lives and whatnot? Wtf does this have to do with it? Also


 
Though this is just for laughs and fantasies.

Reason 8: Sungmin Massage
 

 

AGAIN. I know about the closeness. I'M just focused on....how Onew seems to enjoy it TOO MUCH towards the end, how Sungmin seems like he KNOWS Onew is enjoying it by the look on his face, and most importantly: How Minho deemed it OFFICIALLY awkward to continue to sit there while Sungmin gave Onew his "friendly, helpful" massage. And you can't tell me  you didn't see how Minho looked as he walked away. Can't tell me that isnt the reason he left. Pretty sure he would have kept put if it were just a "regular" massage, I'm sure of it. See how he stayed there in the beginning of the massage, before Sungmin started to "dig deep"?

According to Onew, Taemin takes off his clothes unconsciously in his sleep. (Sure TAEMIN'S doing it? Or you? O.O. I mean, you'd have to be AWAKE to see him do it so...)

Onew knows how to knit.(Hehehe....)

He has a plump  (Mkay I made this one up. But you DO know what they say about . Makes dat get bigger. It doesn't work, I've tried many times. No giant for me :(



SO YUP. My ten reasons why. Fitting that it would end up as ten lol.

There are plenty of other reasons why I feel the way I feel, and they are not here because I can't remember (watch I remember them later -:-) or they are out there on the Net, waiting for me to find them. Whether he is gay or not, I could care less. He won't be any different to me (besides that I would DEF have no chance now of smacking bellies with him) He's still my Dubu, and Dria will always love her Dubu. Besides, he'd be a HOT gay man, a super swell pick for the guy who catches his eye or vice versa.
