Olympics Story in My Household(A little bit too much love for sports😅)

BADMINTON MATCH

Tonight, my family and I, watch a badminton match between Lee Zii Jia VS Chen Long.

My family consist of a former athletes parents and among 8 of us sibling, 6 of us were an athletes. You could say that we're athletes and  sports family.🤭

So, my parents watch the match with me, my 2 little brothers and my little sister. 2 of them are not in the frame, sadly.😂

So, let me summarize the type of watcher my family is, during those match :

Dad - The moment Lee Zii Jia got pressured in the 3rd game, he's out of frame, saying that he won't win. My say, he's the type of atheletes that care for a win but he had foreseen it from the gameplay. That one, I'm amazed.

Mom - Tragic! 🤦🏻‍♀️From the very first entry of the 3rd game when the score of Chen Long was 2 and Lee Zii Jia is 0, she got frustrated and I be, mom, it just start, relax. I am the one who stressed out listening to you.😂 Tbh, it's sounded too negative for me. Lack of faith.😂 Didn't even watch it up to the last point.🤣 The type to give up a little bit too quick kind of athelete.

Lil Bro 1 - Half skill observing, half assesing the gameplay and the rest are for the win thirst. Pretty chill but a little bit frustrated almost at the end of the match.😂 A new fan of Lee Zii Jia and stay with me until the last point.😎 A passionate one, I would say.

Lil Bro 2 - Watching only for the win. Potential to develop interest for the skill. Talks pretty much about the infamous backhand smash that Lee Zii Jia's did during a match with Kento Momota, which called a Ballerina Backhand Smash.😂 He's addicted to the BBS.🤣 Gone during the matchpoint for Chen Long.🤣 A bit too easy to get psychoed during a game kind of atheletes, probably the one who messed in the head. All talk, no bark kind.🤦🏻‍♀️

Lil Sis - This kid is infuriating me even when watching this match.🤦🏻‍♀️ She's not an athlete btw. She just joined us because it was our country playing. She keep saying we're gonna lose, we're gonna lose, when she saw the 2nd game where Lee Zii Jia lost 19-21 to Chen Long. Very much the same with my mom.🤦🏻‍♀️ Made a worst sportsmanship if she ever an athlete.

Meanwhile me....

I am pretty much a chill and laidback one. Like Lil bro 1, EXCEPT, I don't watch only one player. I didn't only watch Lee Zii Jia. I also watch Chen Long. I watch them both for their skills and their gameplay.

I am no expert in badminton but their gameplay is pretty different and obvious.

Chen Long is fast, agile and a beast in court. He shows no mercy for his opponent and that is a great gameplay. I honestly love the way he played. And he's relaxed a lot because he had been in a big match like this a couple of times before, so it's no big shock for him. And his gameplay is quite a stunner.😍 I am in live with his gameplay.😍

While Lee Zii Jia, this small giant likes doing rally. And he mostly likes doing the overhead hit. He rarely used his main skill, the backhand smash, which is quite a loss. And his pace was a little bit too slow in the 3rd game. I was disappointed but I didn't watch the match only for him. I know, he's quite cute, too.👀🤪

Overall, I watched the match for their skill and their gameplay. I stay until the very last point scored. I gotta give Lee Zii Jia an applause for doing a good job until the knockout match. He played in Olympic for the 1st time so, understandable. He is pressured by Chen Long's genius play.🤭 It's okay tho. It's a great experience for him to enhance his gameplay and polish his skills for future reference. He is my next in line for my favourite player. He has big potential.

My favourite badminton star is Lee Chong Wei, Lin Dan, Lee Yongdae...and why are they all Lee including Lee Zii Jia..??🤦🏻‍♀️ And my favourite double before they stop playing for big match was Koo Kin Keat and Tan Boon Heong, but the two had a discipline problems a lot back then. Their coach, Rexy Maniacky also scolds them a lot but they lost their shine when Rexy stop coaching them. 😂 Don't even know why.🤷🏻‍♀️

And another double that I love, The Minions, from Indonesia. Kevin Sanjaya and Marcus Gideon. Tbh, Kevin Sanjaya has the prettiest execution of Ballerina Backhand Smash. It was so mesmerizing to see him doing that in court. But the only thing I don't like is his attitude in court. He's pretty rude with their opponent. That's not a good sportsmanship. Just because you amaze people a lot by your skill, you can be rude to your opponent.

Wait! I was talking about tonight's badminton match, how am I here talking about Kevin Sanjaya?🤦🏻‍♀️

I pretty much love sports a little bit too much, and have a hard time stopping.

If that ain't already obvious enough...😂
