the first born into the family who runs grandeur hotel & resorts, one of chinese's top hotel and resort chains. the xiao estate that mingxia grew up in was thriving with life as there were fifty house staff every day and the many family members of the xiao family living together in the property. yes, grandma and grandpa xiao along with all four of their children and their children. mingxia's father is the second born and the youngest xiao sibling, xiao jinhua is currently unmarried. in a big house full of people, mingxia was used to having others take care of her and keep her company. the person in charge of caring for her is house nanny, zhang tianying who is in charge of taking care of the infants of the family. apart from the house nanny, she was also taken care of by her grandparents. mingxia was used to not seeing her parents but liked it when they were around. they didn't spoil her when they have the chance, instead they played with her and entertain her.
growing up listening to her grandma's stories of her taking ballet school, mingxia took interest in dance, specifically modern dance and contemporary so she enrolled in a dance academy and experienced at least two musicals a year. though she knows dance will never be a dream come true for her, she would like to enjoy it as long as she can. she was in her dance club in middle school, and would like to join the dance club in high school. she gained a lot of friends through the years she enrolled in the dance academy. she always felt like showcasing her dance on a stage in front of an audience was a thrill in itself. she liked the preparation needed and how people bond easily while preparing together. dance had become her own special skill and she intends to keep it that way.

her weekdays she wakes up at six thirty in the morning, eat breakfast, and get herself in the shower. her mother rarely cooks, so at this time, she's either seen doing yoga with her aunt or sipping on tea on the couch. she then spends the remaining time straightening her hair and doesn't get to school until seven thirty. at seven, she usually calls lucas to wake him up as his morning call. she has two ways of going to school; on lucas' motorcycle (for which, she doesn't straighten her hair) or with her brother by her family driver. she usually arrives at school with ten minutes to spare. after the day's done, she spends two-three hours practicing with the dance club or her team. although, it varies on the day of practice since she'll skip out if her family needs her to come along to an event. she goes home by her family driver or with lucas if he also has basketball practice. when she comes home, she makes a beeline for the shower, cleans herself and goes downstairs to dinner. then, she'll study for two hours while jamming out or calling friends (mostly, lucas). sometimes, on days when they both don't have practice, they'd hang out after school at one or the other's house, eat dinner, then study together before going back home. don't worry, their houses are just a block away from each other. she usually sleeps at one o'clock after organizing tomorrow's books.

a family-run company that is known to be a legacy created by grandpa xiao, it is a company with over a hundred hotels and thirty luxury resorts all over mainland china. it is a very well-known company inside mainland china, but are still falling behind in the asian region. the company is constantly expanding in the travel service industry and recently, managed to open a stand-alone restaurant 'grandeur highs' (the usual dining lounge in all hotels) in shanghai. the company are upgrading to offer hotel packages according to trend. currently, all hotels offer an indoor gym, swimming pool, breakfast lounge, dining lounge and three types of rooms (king, queen, twin). their hotels are known for the delicious room service, location and luxury interior for affordable prices and seasonal discounts.

STUDY HABITS she studies when she cans or when there's a test in two or three days. mingxia puts all the essentials in a pile (laptop, notes, stationery, hot tea, etc) and uses an app to track her time in intervals. she usually takes breaks in between. her ideal places to study are her desk, the living room, and her poolside table. music is a must; she loves songs with uplifting beats to keep her energy levels up. snacks are optional, but she does find munching on almonds, apples, or popcorn a great booster. she doesn't turn music on when she does a skype call with song or eunjoo. oh, there's also her brother. she and her brother study together only when they're outside, at a cafe nearby. she studies for three hours, break times included. she does have a female tutor who comes whenever she's not busy, or skype calls whenever her schedule's tentative. her female tutor is one of her aunt's close acquaintances who has moved from shanghai to teach mandarin in korea so she can help mingxia understand korean culture and the language more from a fellow chinese perspective. when her friends are up for it, they do a group call together. usually, it's just song and her and her tutor.

PERSONALITY to say the least, yuan song is cheerful, thoughtful and friendly. his presence lightens the mood and many agree that his aura is positive. he takes care of people very well and is always sure to cater to others' need, though he knows his limits. with his positive aura and the addition of his natural confidence, he will approach others first and make them less nervous around him. he'll make a great friend, that's for sure. yet, he has an ability to do the unexpected things spontaneously and also his inability to control his feelings. he also isn't effecient in managing time or planning things so he procrastinates a lot. he might not talk much around korean people because of his korean abilities so he tries to make up for it by communicating more through body language. in the near future, once he's moderate in korean, he'll start expressing himself more through words.
