The joys of being an optimistic person. Sohee is b with life and happiness. She just gives of this happy, funny, and bright aura. She expresses her gratitude well even with the smallest blessing she receives. Sohee also finds good in hardships, obstacles, and failures, because these are the situations that give her strength and resilience also experience to grow as a person. She'll always make herself available whether it's for helping out the school or just time for anyone that needs her. 

What draws in people the most is her Playfullness. Genuinely a fun person to be with if you like her jokes, go along with her playful teasing(better if you back), and even wordplay. It makes her very attractive to those who enjoy having a good mood. This just shows how she isn't the aggressive type of person and that she has a lot of energy to spend.

As the playful person she is, she loves cracking up jokes and of course the sassy and witty comebacks as well. Her jokes are purely for fun and not meant to offend anyone. Her teasing is just for minor annoyance that could lead to some laughter. She knows when a joke she comes up with would go too far. She'd also do the silliest things with the most common objects around. She'd pose in an exaggerated manner as if she were modelling, pick up a pencil and start placing it above her lips trying to balance it, and just plain old facial expressions that are meant for humor. She could act like a caring older sister as well. She cares a lot for her family and friends and treats them kindly. She makes everyone of her friends feel special by doing little things to show them that she cares for them. Things like: texting them to see how they are, bringing them their favorite food and/or drink, comforting them and giving kind words when they feel sad, sharing her food, and even giving them little presents for no aparent reason. Hugs are always there as well since she is openly affectionate when caring for others.

Sohee brags about nothing. I repeat. Nothing at all. Her powers are quite powerful but she doesn't brag about it to others saying that she could beat anyone who faces her head on, though she'd only joke about it. Sohee is very receptive with constructive criticism unlike most people who have a sour expression or a negative reaction towards it. In fact, she'll seek it out because she knows it's the path for improvement.

She is also really childish and immature to the point where you question whether she is a 9 year old in a 19 year old body. She is known for sticking her tongue out to those she doesn't like and even do the thing kids do when they don't want to listen to what you're saying; "lalalalala" yes she does this and even covers her ears. It's plain childish and very very annoying.

Sohee knows that people see her as the happy person she displays to them and she wants to keep it that way. She wants to be that light people go to when they are in a gloomy mood so she does what she can to keep up this happy face even when she herself isn't doing so well. She doesn't go to anyone when she is gloomy because she feels as if she is giving them some sort of burden by helping her deal with these emotions so she just keeps it to herself and does what she can to lighten up her mood.

Sohee isn't a total rule breaker with her mischievous side but she does have the tendency to do things she isn't supposed to do. To her it's just playful and harmless fun the caused only a tiny amount of inconvenience. Things like rocking her chair back and forth during a formal event, throwing a paperball at you in class to get your attention, and sneaking into a graveyard and scaring the living sh*t out of everyone once they lose sight of her.

From the outfit she wants to wear to the food she orders, Sohee is completely indecisive. It's especially evident since she never ever volunteers nor wants to be a leader for any matter because it leads to big decisions which give her lots of anxiety and stress. Sure she could take some time with the little decisions like the ones we make on a daily basis but when it comes to decisions with big consequences she'd gladly stay away from those. She'd need others help or ask their opinion when making tough decisions.

Her dishonesty comes from both her caring side and also her secretive trait. She'd hide the truth from you because she fears that it may hurt that person's feelings. Sohee will tell you she is fine even when she isn't because she doesn't want people to worry about her. She feels as if she becomes a burden whenever people tend to her when she isn't fine. It's not that she'll lie on a daily basis but she will if the conditions above are met(if it hurts someones feelings or if she doesn't want them to worry about her).  

Background:

Sohee was born in Seoul on what people love to call "Valentines Day". The day that is filled with all kinds of love. That could one of the reasons why their family was full of it. They were very close and cared for each other a lot. They understand each other well and easily clear up any misunderstandings and slight conflict. Goofiness runs in the family and it what keeps her family on the positive side of life despite them being financialy poor. It's never a dull moment when you step into their household. That's why Sohee grew up to be the playful and mischievous gal she is.

She helps a lot in the family's vegetable store which is their primary source of income. With her bursting energy, she calls upon the customers cheerfully and asks them to buy their products. She even exaggerates just to get their attention. "You're skin will never go dull again, just buy our lettuce!". It surprisingly works since she manages to rack in quite a few customers. Her parent's call her their 'good luck charm' because of this. Sohee knows about their financial state and wants to do what she can to help. Occasionally, she runs errands for her neighbors in exchange for even a small amount of money which she uses as her pocket money for school.

School life was a blast. Her section really enjoyed all the goofiness and the playful vibe she gives out. Sure there were people who didn't like her and were annoyed with her, calling her somewhat of an attention seeker but she didn't let this affect her. She made lots of friends and found a person who she could call her best friend as well. Her name was Amelia. Out of all the foreign students they had in that school, Amelia was the one Sohee got really close to. They were both optimistic and affectionate which others could mistake as Womance/Sismance(opposite of bromance). Sohee is that friend who would laugh first before helping Amelia when her clumsiness kicked in.

Her powers manifested one sunny afternoon when she and her mom were walking back home from the market. They were crossing the street when they heard some tires screeching along with some shouting and screaming. A car was speeding out of control and heading towards. They didn't have any time to react at all so they just braced for the impact. Sohee held out her palm waiting for the car to crash into them but then she heard the sound of glass breaking and metal hitting the ground over and over. Slowly, she opened her eyes and saw the disastrous scene before her. The car was flipped over with parts of it scattered on the ground alongside shattered glass. She looked at her palm which she stretched out before expecting the moment of impact then at her mom, eyes asking if she was responsible for what had happened.

The couple in the car were sent to the hospital, Sohee and her mother sat by the waiting area not wanting to leave until the doctors tell them how the couple was doing. Hours later, a doctor came out informing them that though the patients are stable they were also put in a coma. Their respective families were contacted and had arrived moments later. The CCTV footage was shown to them and all eyes were on Sohee. It showed her placing her arm out before an unseen force struck the car. So it was her fault. Her first instinct was to get down on her knees and ask for the forgiveness from both families with her mother alongside her. The couples' family were kind enough to forgive them for the reason that Sohee and her mother would have died because of the couples reckless driving.

The news spread quickly and people started looking and acting differently towards Sohee. Her classmates avoided her, people on the road gave her looks, some even took it too far and called her a monster, and others just plain moved out of her way. Sohee didn't like this treatment one bit. She always brought people closer to her and made them feel happy but know thanks to the incident, the opposite was happening. People feared her and avoided her. The worst part was people stopped buying from their store. It made Sohee feel bad. Because of her, their family's business was falling. Her parent's saw how this affected her. Her cheerful state was slowly deteriorating, her smile was weak and felt force, her laughs were barely present anymore. They tried everything to bring back their daughter's old state when she was full of joy and life but nothing.

Amelia was the only classmate and friend she had who stuck around when the rumors began affecting her. She told Sohee that she shouldn't be ashamed of her powers, instead she should learn to control them so that events like the incident wouldn't occur again. Sohee listened to her and did what she could to control her powers. It was easy for her to activate them but there were times when they would activate involuntarily. There was only one time that she was actually thankful that her powers activated on their own. It was when she was held at gunpoint. It was night time and she was walking home from school that late due to a school project she had to finish with her groupmates. The criminal told her to give him her wallet before he shoots her. She reached for her bag and opened it, grabbing her wallet and was about to pass it to the burglar when she felt a sneeze coming up. She made all the faces a person makes when a sneeze was about to erupt. And when it did, her powers activated and the burglar was sent flying. Sohee took this opportunity and ran back to her home before the burglar could even get back up.

The next day she was greeted by her classmates talking about how cool she was. Sohee's confusion was resolved when one of her classmates showed her a video of what happened the previous night. Turns out there was a bystander recording the whole thing. The clip went viral which caught the attention of the professors and students of Syndicate. Most of them found it hilarious while other professors saw this as another person who needed their help.

A professor came to her house informing her and her parents about his reason for going there. He introduced Syndicate to them and what their goal was. He wanted to recruit Sohee and teach her how to control her abilities. Sohee immediately agreed to it and started packing since the professor said that she could go to Syndicate anytime, Sohee wanted to leave immediately because she wanted to learn how to control her powers and lessen the chance of hurting others. Her parent's promised that they would visit her from time to time which Sohee liked since this was the first time she was going to be away from her parents for a very long time. She was gonna miss all the goofy moments they shared.

Sohee met up with Amelia who, to her surprise, also had powers. Joining a new school, Sohee used this opportunity to start again and bring back her old self. She was accepted by the students due to them watching the clip that went viral and seeing how hilarious she is in real life. Currently, she stays at the dorms provided by Syndicate and is studying to control her powers as well as academic classes.

Passing by their vegetable shop you'd hear the happy calls and cheers of this family. Her parents are everything to Sohee. They raised her to be the girl she is now. They love and care for her dearly and were there for her when everyone started turning their backs towards their daughter. They wish they could've given her a better living situation since they were financially poor since all parents wish the same. They were thankful that Sohee wasn't one to complain and was content with what they had. Now that she is in Syndicate, they would send her messages and call her when she is free to check up on her. They plan on visiting her when they have saved up enough money.

 
Best Friend|Amelia Song|See App|9/10|The girl who stuck with her when everyone was afraid and shunning her. Amelia was the bright sunshine Sohee need in her times of darkness. The one who would talk some sense in to this little head of hers when Amelia sees her concealing her feelings. Amelia stands up for those who get bullied in Syndicate and Sohee is here to back her up whenever things get to confrontational(though it sounds like a bad idea since her powers are unstable and could cause an unwanted fight). Together they act like how friends do. Talking about any topic they come across, mostly about what goes on in Syndicate since there are always things happening in that school. Amelia is someone Sohee can depend on, Sohee just hopes that when Amelia needs her, she'd be able to bring the same support she did.

 
Close Friend|Wu Yitian|See App|8/10|Amelia was the one who introduced him to her. They got along right off the bat. His kind and bubbly personality is what drew her in to become a close friend. They both are very affectionate, which means you'd be seeing them exchanging hugs, one leaning on the others shoulder, them linking arms together, and sometimes even Sohee asking him to carry her on his back just because its fun for her. These things are quite normal for them but to others they would mistake them to be a couple seeing as they invade each others personal space. What Sohee doesn't understand is the envious stares Yitian gets from Taehyun and sometimes even Haewoo when they do this kind of thing.

 
Pretty Friend|Yang Yeejin|See App|7/10|This sweetheart right here was the very first person who greeted her when she was taken to Syndicate. Her beauty was obviously the first thing she recognized. Sohee has met a lot of pretty girls but none of them compare to Yeejin. She almost drooled right in front of her but she snapped out of this slight trance when the professor who took her there called out her name. It was easy for both of them to get along since Yeejin accepted everyone who wanted to be friends. She jokingly calls Yeejin "My Goddess" whenever she sees her which the other finds quite hilarious.

 
Gravity Defying Friend|Jung Sooyoon|See App|7/10|The person Sohee finds the softest. She believes that Sooyoon needs his own protection squad because of how warm his personality is. The fact that he spends time with the kids is adorable to Sohee. Its sad that she can't get close to the kids because she doesn't want to risk hurting any of them with her unstable powers. She watches from afar(kinda stalker like) and sees how pure his interactions are with the kids. She was also quick to notice how he behaves around a certain person who could phase through most things. She teases him from time to time but knows when and when not to do it. Any of them could initiate the conversation with each other since they feel comfortable talking about most subjects.

 
Intangible Friend|Heo Kyungmo|See App|7/10|She bumped into him when he was phasing his way to his next class. She was really amazed at how he was utilizing his powers for his benefit. Sooyoon was the one who formally introduced him to her since the first time they met he had to get to class and they didn't even catch each others names. This guy loves challeneges and Sohee loves them as well. The more mischievous the challenge is the better. They keept track of each others points when they challenge each other. It's what brings the fun in their friendship especially when there is a consequence. Other than the challenges, they do enjoy each others company and are great at energizing people(Syndicate make some noise!!!!).

 
Sly Gal that she sees in Syndicate|Dae Manhee|See App|3/10|Sohee has seen her flirting with a lot of guys which she finds odd to say the least. She heard rumors about her saying that she was a user and most of these came from boys. She just put two and two together and she got what they were trying to say. Though she doesn't know that this is 100% true since these were just rumors and she doesn't want to think of Manhee that way unless she actually sees/experiences this firsthand. She's heard a lot of wise cracks from Manhee everytime she passes by the said girl, some Sohee find hilarious and some just offensive. Manhee is mysterious to say the least since the students don't know much about her. Sohee chooses to see her as this neutral type of person as of the moment since she can't quite grasp what kind of person Manhee is though she is willing to be friends with her if she does approach her.

 
Energetic Friend|Lee Namshin|See App|8/10|Another bubbly and enthusiastic person she has come across in Syndicate. Sohee and Namshin got along pretty well since their personalities are pretty much the same. She finds his impatience hilarious because he acts so much like a child when he nags and complains. When ever they were finishde with ability control classes, all the students would be all sweaty and exhausted. Sohee would ask him to spray water on her faces just so she could get the sweat off of it. Namshin would be exhausted as well and would little control of his powers. He would accidentally blast a huge amount of water on Sohee getting her all wet. She'd chase him around for minutes until she either pins him down or she gets tired. Sohee, when she thinks about it, finds the scene that unfolded really hilarious.

 
Smart Friend|Lee Yeoshin|See App|7/10|She isn't as close to her as she is to her brother. She applauds Yeoshin for the smart brain she has and how she always performs with such precision and accuracy but the arrogance is still there and Sohee tries her best to deal with it. Yeoshin isn't fond of Sohee's affectionate personality since she dislikes being touched. Yeoshin is arrogant while Sohee is humble, how would this friendship work? Humor. Humor is the answer. It's what usually Sohee uses to get closer to someone. I mean who doesn't love a good laugh. They usually only exchange a few words but in time they'd be able to build it up to an entire conversation.

 
Gossipy Friend|Jung Aera|See App|8/10|Miss paparazzi over here shares the latest gossip and rumors going on in Syndicate. That's actually how they met. Sohee was going through her notes just checking if she had missed anything then Aera sits beside her introducing herself. Aera knew she was a new student and as the gossip queen she is, she had to know almost everything about her so Sohee was bombarded with questions just before class started. Sohee enjoyed the conversation she had with Aera. Never had she had someone ask her so many questions in one go. Aera was also funny during the "interview" which Sohee enjoyed. They got along well and became good friends. Sohee would ask Aera to "hit" her with the latest news she's got. Another memorable thing about Aera is how she would always fall from one guy to another. 

 
Fashionista Friend/Co-Worker|Bae Yeona|See App|8/10|Sohee needed a job so that her parent's wouldn't need to send her pocket money so she got one at a nearby 7-eleven that was hiring. She was assigned to the night shift since most of the day shifts were taken. She wasn't picky and agreed to work at night. Yeona was her co-worker and when she saw her in Syndicate, classmate as well. In terms of popularity, Sohee could say that Yeona was more known than her because of her friendly nature. Sohee sees her as the ultimate social butterfly, making friends left and right. She has no idea if Yeona had any haters but if she did, what was wrong with those people?

 
Reaper Friend|Bang Kyuleui|See App|7/10|Her partner in crime when it comes to mischief. It gets both of them in trouble but they have each other to share the trouble they got themselves in. It's all for fun and they enjoy each others company as well. Kyuleui's alluring aura is what drew Sohee in at first and that's how she got to know her. Skinship is also another thing they share in common. They would be seen in each others arms, one resting their chin on the others shoulder, and etc. She finds Kyuleui's love for fictional characters adorable and she can't judge her since she also finds some fictional characters more attractive than nonfictional guys. Kyuleui does keep some kind of barrier that prevents their relationship from progressing which Sohee doesn't understand but respects.

 
Scholarly Friend|Im Chanhyeok|See App|7/10|Sohee could not understand how a person could enjoy studying so much like Chnahyeok does. It just feels unreal. She totally didn't befriend him just so she could get some help from him whenever she was stuck on a lesson, nope. Purely friendship. She finds his siblings adorable as well and actually gets surprised when they expose her thoughts and feelings. She doesn't get mad at the kids rather teaches them the value of privacy. She could understand that they were kids and that they were still learning about the world and how things work. Chanhyeok is thankful to have her as a friend since a lot of people avoid him and his siblings because of their powers. She really doesn't mind his powers and actually finds it cool that he can sense more than just someones emotions.

Sohee has the ability to manipulate vibrations through a medium of air, water, or the ground. 

Vibration emission : This gives her the ability to generate destructive shockwaves from the palm of her hands. The vibrations are strong enough to help her push heavy objects like a plane and even fast objects travelling towards her like bullets. Problem is she cannot control how strong these vibrations are.

Shockwave clap/stomp/snap : Sohee can produce large shockwaves by clapping her hands with a certain amount of force, snapping her fingers, and stomping her foot hard on the ground. Accuracy and precision are her problems her because she can't seem to direct the vibrations in a single direction making it so that she is also affected by vibrations.

Sound detection : Sohee can detect sound-waves, whether it comes from skies, the earth, or the seas. Anything that generates noise, sound, sonic waves, or vibrations, she can detect where ever the source comes from. Anything that prevents sound would block out this feature entirely.

Vibration attacks : Sohee can use her power of vibrations for melee and other various attacks. Basically if you know Yang Xiao Long then you know what I'm talking about, though they don't have the same abilities, they share the same destructive nature of it's effects. She can pound the ground with her fist and great a great shockwave that affects everyone within a certain radius. Though powerful, she still has no control over it and it could lead to her also being affected by her own attacks. Avoid being punched by this woman or else you'll end up in the hospital. No joke.

The main weakness she has aside from the need of a medium for her vibrations to function is that she lacks control over her powers. They would go off without her even activating them so she is prone to creating accidents. She could cause harm to those others without even wanting to. Using her powers requires for her to expend a lot of energy so using them constantly leaves her drained and if she overuses it she'll pass out due to exhaustion and possibly lead to her getting sick since exhaustion could lower ones immune system.

First Meeting: Sohee was out in the courtyard walking to where her next class was when suddenly it started raining heavily. She was exposed to all the droplets of rain so she ran as fast as she can to find cover. Her hair, clothes, and even her books were all wet from the rain. Great, such a nice start to her day. She heard the bell rang which meant that classes were about to start. She had no time to dry herself up so she dashed to where her class was. She made a sharp turn as she entered the hallway which made her bump into someone causing all the books she was carrying to fall. She looked up to see a guy with a pissed expression on his face. "Watch where you're going sticky bangs." he growled before kicking one of the books away from her as he walked away. Sohee wasn't having any of it. She stood up and shouted "Yah!" before send out a shockwave in his direction which he sensed and dodged. He looked shock as if he wasn't expecting her to retaliate to what he had just done. He walks up to her saying "You must have a ing death wish." Sohee stands up, despite him being taller and looking more intimidating than her, she keeps her head held high and says "That’s only a warning, you jerk. Next time you do such thing, I won’t hold back." before picking up all her books and running to her classroom thinking about what excuse she had to give for being late and looking like a total mess. She curses that guy for not even being an ounce of help when she clearly needed someone to help her pick up those books. 

Development: Ever since that incident, she'd been noticing him more often. Taehyun told her that they were childhood friends but something happened which caused them to drift apart. She didn't expect him to be such an when Taehyun was trying to approach him saying that he wanted to talk about their past, possibly trying to solve some conflict they had, but Haewoo just pushed him hard to the ground telling him to shut up. Sohee was pissed at Haewoo's 'response' to Taehyun's attempt in talking to him and so she had to stand up for her friend. "What's your problem with Tae?" Sohee asks him. He responds with "It's none of your business, duck face." Slightly taken aback by the duck face insult, Sohee manages to respond "It is because he is my friend!". He raises an eyebrow and asks "Why do you bother befriending a weakling?". What the heck was he talking about? Sohee didn't find Taehyun weak at all. She saw how persistent the other was to improve, how the hell does that make him weak? Does that imply that he sees her as a someone who is strong? Flattering but Sohee still is pissed with him. She sighed, "Look, I don’t know what happened between you two, but Tae mentioned you guys were childhood friends…" Sohee stops talking when she sees his face change it's expression to a less intimidating one. "As I said, it’s got nothing to do with you." he says then walks away. After this incident, it was back to just noticing each other in the halls, giving each other glares as they pass each other.

One day, Sohee sat down on one of the benches in the garden and started silently weeping. It happened again. Her powers went off and she hurt someone by accident. The student ended up being sent to the clinic to be examined. They assured her that he was fine, just a minor concussion is what he was experiencing. Sohee came to the school to prevent accidents like that from happening but the exact opposite just happened. She remembered the time when everyone around her avoided her, called her names, and practically treated her like an alien. She thought that it might happen all over again once this news spreads or if it ever happens again. It caused her to spill the tears she was holding back ever since she left the clinic. It wasn't until a few moments till she noticed that Haewoo was standing right in front of her. “What do you want?” She asks him in a croaky voice. Was he here to make fun of her cause she might not be able to handle another reason for her to feel bad. “Why are you crying? You look ugly.” Of course. Concern and then insult. Classic Haewoo. She rolls her eyes at him. “I wasn’t crying.” she tries to hide it by wiping away her tears but Haewoo wasn't an idiot.  “Well, it’s obviously not raining for your face to look like it’s been drowned.”. Irritated by his persistence she says “I already told you I’m not crying. I’m fine.” She has no idea what his goal was approaching her like this? Was he supposed to be comforting her because it isn't working at all. He stared at her for a few seconds before turning away “Alright then.” he says. Wait that was it? “I don’t get you. Why are you being thoughtful now?” Sohee asked. Though she didn't approve of what he was doing, it was still thoughtful of him to ask her why she was crying. He continued to turn away but responded "Whatever it is you’re sad about, it’ll pass and in time you’ll forget about it. Good things will come replacing the sad ones. So, there’s no point in bringing yourself down.” before walking away. Sohee was left speechless. She didn't expect such advise from him but he was right. Sohee found the advise quite useful and stuck to it. She wanted to thank him but since she didn't know anything about him, she did the only thing she could think of.

She went from classroom to classroom, scanning each one to find which one was Haewoo's. She got into one where the professor hasn't showed up in yet. Her eyes scanning the room until they landed on Haewoo who was also looking at her. The room suddenly grows quiet and the person talking to Haewoo also stops. She approaches Haewoo's desk, ignoring the stares the others were giving her. She grabbed the small box of milk she bought and extended her arm to him. He looks at the milk and then at her, clearly wanting an explanation for what she was doing. “A token, as thanks for yesterday.”. He continued to stare at the dairy product before him before mumbling “I don’t like dairy though.”. Sohee mentally slapped herself after hearing this. She can't even give her thanks to him properly. “Oh, I didn’t know that.” was all she could say. This was getting embarassing. She could only think of retracting her arm and apologizing before dashing out of the classroom but to her surprise he takes the box of milk from her hands and places it on his desk. Murmurs erupted which Sohee suspected was because he accepted her token. He accepted it despite him not liking dairy and there was also the fact that they weren't close at all. She smiled brightly at him, thankful that he accepted the token. He looked at her and said “Class is about to start. Go.” She skips out of the room waving at him before she left the room.

This is how their friendship started. She would constantly approach him to initiate small talk or just chill which surprises her friends. Taehyun tells her that Haewoo must have taken a liking to her since he isn't driving her away like he does to most people. 

Sohee noticed that Haewoo was interested in comics since she could see him reading them often. She herself had a lot of them since she collected them ever since she was a kid and knows a place where they sell it for a cheap price. In an attempt to try and get closer to him, she grabs a stack of comic books she didn't read that much and offered them to him. "I assume you like comic books too since I see you reading them often. I bought these a while ago but never got to read them and when I saw them I thought of you. Here." Though he didn't say anything to signal that he was thanking her for the gift she was giving him, his face did show appreciation which he turned into his normal blank expression once he noticed Sohee smiling at him.

During their break time she spots him on a tree branch by the school garden reading one of the comic books she gave him. She interrupts him by asking "Can I climb up?”. “I’m not lending you a hand though, ponytails.” He agrees. With hardship, she manages to climb up herself. “What a gentleman you are.” She squirms until she finds herself a comfortable position beside Haewoo. They spend the entire break time in silence with Haewoo reading his comic book and secretly glances at her from time to time and Sohee just gazing up at the sky. 

When asked why she became friends with Haewoo, a guy hated by many people because of his personality, she simply stated that it was her nature to try and make friends with even the toughest of people. That's what she told others. That's what she told herself. But was it really her true intention when she approached him? She sometimes dwells on this question but hasn't come to an answer yet.

When he starts being direct with her, a.k.a dropping all the obvious hints that he wants Sohee to be his, she is somewhat oblivious to it. Some say Yeejin and her are connected for not noticing romantic cues immediately and mistaking them for kind gestures.

Interactions: These two don't get along in the beginning because of how their personalities clash and how Haewoo naturally treats Taehyun and others. They'd both glare at each other whenever they see each other in the hallways. They would often get into arguments and one way or another someone is gonna walk away leaving the argument unfinished because they either "have better things to do" or "lalalalalala I don't wanna hear it!" You take your guess on who is who. She honestly thinks that under all that tough guy exterior is a guy who just needs someone. That's a reason she tells herself whenever she questions why she kept approaching him.

They do eventually become friends after some time but they still have arguments from time to time since their personalities will always and I mean always clash. Sohee is aware of what people say when she spends time with Haewoo, they would murmur, whisper, and just give outright dirty looks at them which she completely ignores. What was she doing wrong? They've told her countless times that she was just asking for a death wish when she hangs out with him. They always say that he was dangerous and could easily hurt her if he wanted to. She could understand why they would see him that way but they haven't seen all of him yet so they can't judge him from just observation. She finds herself defending him whenever others talk trash about him.

She has noticed that she has some type of effect on him. Haewoo was always pretty tame whenever he was with Sohee opposed to his usual "back off" aura that he emits whenever he was with his friend Younghoon or just alone. She also notices that he doesn't scold her when she does things he wouldn't let others do. Though as oblivious as she may be, she knew that this meant something. 

When someone finally explains to her that Haewoo was dropping obvious hints that he wanted her to be his, Sohee's mind just went blank until she was sent back to reality. She would scold herself for being so dense but now she wishes she just stayed that way because not only Haewoo but also Taehyun are after her and she had no idea what she was going to do.

First Meeting: Amelia was the one who introduce him to her. Sohee was waiting for Amelia in the canteen for lunch and she came back bringing Taehyun along with her. She introduced Taehyun to Sohee and they exchanged greetings. Sohee asked a little to loudly while trying to make it a whisper "Is he your boyfriend?" The two immediately clear up what misunderstanding Sohee had. Taehyun did most of the explaining and the way he explained everything was just adorable to Sohee. "Wah you're really cute." she blurted out. Seeing that the other got flustered she apologized "Sorry." she smiled regretting what she had said. "No it's ok." he said as he continued eating his food. She took notice of his timidness and found it incredibly adorabke. The way he acted, spoke, and the way he looked was all just adorable to her. She of course learned that she had to take him seriously when he was talking.

Development: Though one was quiet and the other was noisy as hell, they became good friends. Sohee learned of his goal to becoming stronger and beating a certain student who was also enrolled in Syndicate. Sohee admired his perseverance to become stronger and strongly supported him. 

Sohee could not express how grateful she is to have him around. Her powers are super unstable and would go off whenever they want, luckily Taehyun was there to put a force-field on someone or in front of whatever the blast was gonna hit to avoid any injuries or damage to the school. She talks to him about how she wishes that her powers would be something else, something not destructive. Taehyun tells her that her powers are really cool and that she just needs practice and training to control them. The reassurance was enough for Sohee to start believing in what he said.

Whenever Haewoo would call him names or hurt him, she'd be there to stand up for him and give that guy a piece of her mind. Something Taehyun was afraid of because he knows that those kinds of things would set of Haewoo and with his destructive powers, who knows what he could do to Sohee. He talked to Sohee and told her that she didn't have to stand up for him and that he could handle himself. Sohee told him that he was her friend and she wasn't gonna let anyone hurt him. She swore that she would protect him in any way she can. 

Sohee was serious when she wanted to support him in his quest to become stronger. She would call on him to spar with her and push the limits of their powers. She would send out her attacks towards him in his force-field while he would increase both the strength of the force-field and its duration. It was a win-win since both of them were improving. They would be all sweaty once they were done sparring. Sohee would call Namshin who was also sparring to spray her face with water to get all the sweat out of it. "Are you sure? What if-" Namshin's warning was cut off by Sohee saying "It's fine! Now g-" A beam of water was blasted at Sohee as she was moving her arms in hopes of deflecting the water. Namshin, realizing that it had happened again, stopped his powers and was about to apologize when an angry looking Sohee started chasing him. "Get back here you fire hydrant!" The scene in front of Taehyun was hilarious and he couldn't help but laugh. Sohee stopped when he heard him laughing. This was the loudest she had heard Taehyun laugh and she couldn't help but smile. "Why are you laughing?" she asked. "The way your bangs are positioned makes you look funny and cute." he said in between laughs. Slightly embarassed by her wet bangs, she fixes them immediately then remembers what he said. "Wait, cute?" she asks with a smirk forming on her lips. "I-i uhm..." he stumbles and doesn't finish his sentence rubbing the back of his neck in embarassment. Sohee approaches him saying "Hey it's fine. You can call me cute." she jokes in which Taehyun lets out a breath that he was holding. "But still, you're way cuter than I am." and there he goes again, all shy and embarassed. Truly adorable in the eyes of Sohee.


Interactions: They get along really well and enjoy each other's company. Taehyun is very helpful and always asks Sohee if she needed help when he could see her struggling with what she was doing. She'd gladly take the offer and then he'd start helping her as best as he can. Taehyun handles Sohee's childish personality well since he doesn't find her annoying at all. They do get into small conflicts but they resolve it in a civil way. Whenever Sohee got into trouble for doing something mischievous, he'd be there to somewhat talk to her about it and ask her to try and refrain from getting herself into too much trouble. He understands that she does these things because she finds it entertaining despite them getting her into trouble if she is caught so he doesn't tell her to stop directly but to lessen it to a degree where she wouldn't have to be scolded by the professors. She is thankful to have someone like him who would put her in check when she would do these mischievous these things.

Taehyun has been seen as a weakling by many of the students of Syndicate. This lead to some bullying verbally. They'd be there calling him a 'weakling' and Sohee would be there to stand up for him and blast the living out of anyone who dares tell them to spare their words for when they actually have the right to talk to someone like that. 

Sohee is naturally an affectionate person and she displays it to all her friends. When it came to Taehyun, she'd notice that when she'd wrap her arms around him, he'd go stiff and move almost like a robot. This always happened whenever she would initate any form of skinship with him. Sohee could only wonder what happens when she falls asleep on his shoulder. 

Taehyun would be subtle when it came to dropping hints that he was interested in Sohee but boy the more subtle the hint, that harder it is for Sohee to know that this was a sign saying "I LIKE YOU!!". Sohee thinks of his subtle hints as kind gestures but then again, he's never done these kinds of things so she thinks that there was something to it.

Someone finally got sick and tired of her not noticing that Taehyun was clearly trying to court her and finally told her exactly that. Sohee felt so dumb. She wasn't the type to instantly recognize romantic cues, somewhat similar to her friend Yeejin(I swear these two could be a great duo), so she had no idea that Taehyun was trying to court her. Now that she knows of this, she has no idea what she should do. Two people are after her, Haewoo and Taehyun, and she still hasn't sorted out her feelings for either of them.

-He'd walk her to the 7eleven when it was time for her shift and use the excuse "I was gonna buy something so I might as well go with you"
-The word "Cute" is what Sohee would describe everything Taehyun does.
-She would patch him up whenever he had a small scratch or injury
-Whenever she was about to sneeze, he would prepare himself and look for where the blast was going to be sent. It became some form of training for him which improves his reaction time.
-She'd ask him if he could tie her hair for her when she gets lazy to do it herself
-She'd get a little too close when she adjusts his cap when it tilts too high or too low
