Appearance:

His body tends seems thin due to his fashion choices, but he's actually very muscular. Standing 184cm tall and weights 67kg, his body proportions can make him a great model. Namshin has large and sharp grey eyes, with narrow eyebrows and long eye lashes.

He's really a diehard fan of hair dye. He loves to dye his hair into brown, blonde, silver, and even white, to match it with the color of his eyes. Other than that, he looks just like Minhyuk.

Fashion style:

For this dude, comfort is key. He prefers loose-fitting clothing (that sometimes made him seems thin and always teased by her sister for not being fashionable), with a pair of jeans or shorts, and some sports sneakers or boots. Any design and any color, but literally has black in it somewhere. Most commonly, he wears his favorite over-sized, dark red hoodie. And occasionally, he will also wear a beanie.

Personality traits:

(+) Enthusiastic, eloquent, dynamic, bubbly, loyal.
(=) Competitive, mischievous.
(-) Clingy, impatient, exhibitionist, vulnerable to critism.

Elaboration:

When he is interests in something or excites by it, he would spends time doing it or learning about it. He can get really happy and get really sad. You might even call him sensitive. You might call him crazy, but he is who he is. He’s excites to show up, loves to take part in things and would greet you with a level of joy mostly found in puppies. He want to be remembered for having passion, being funny and being the best. Those are the clearly defined goals for his life.

Namshin has a way with words, always has flair and poetry in his dialogue. He thinks carefully about choice of words and how to express the point. This means that he’s thinking about the meaning of his message and wants it to make an impact on the person he talk to.

Namshin has energy at his face or currently going on. He start talking immmediately to strangers and he talk like he know them for a long time. He take less time in adopting new situation and feel less resistance in going to a new place. He’s like moving bodies who doesn’t have inertia of mass at rest, always full of energy like an energetic puppy, probably borderline hyperactive, super curious and sociable.

Whenever he’s at social gathering, he’s the first person to say hi to everyone in the room. Always getting people to laugh, and always extremely happy. He’s excited about little things and always almost jumping when he is excited. The way the room moves around him is astounding and he always get along very well with almost everyone. His attitude is magnetic. He have a charm and charisma and he always talk.

He can accept someone as they are and doesn't leave them, wouldn’t betrays them or breaks commitments. He will always have their back. He wouldn’t follow them like a slave, but he has the qualities to see what their actions and beliefs really represent what he stand for, and accept all consequences of that, over the years, through good and bad times.

He like to stir things up, and even derive a sense of satisfaction from seeing things win or lose. Winning is a way to increase his self worth, and he gain more confidence once he win. He claim this as his motive, but usually it's just a way to validate his existence.

He likes to play and annoy with tricks, like setting up traps for people, and doing something even though he've been told not to. He’s a serious prankster, but not in a way that is intended to cause serious harm or damage. And the best part is, He never got caught. He know that he can twist with people’s emotions, and often end up thinking about different ways to get what he want. Sometimes he would did some silly drama, even cried at the end, just to get what he want (It was a little gift of him, crying on the spot), especially in front of his sister.

But no one is perfect. Namshin is a clingy person who has trouble abiding by personal boundries, or encroaching on personal space. He always seems to be looking to spend time together when you know you should be spreading your attention out to others. He won’t leave you along. He always try to invade others privacy and see what they’re up to. Being poked for no reason, being tagged in things just because they know you and the content barely makes sense. Leaning on someone for advice way too often, things like that. Borderline obsessive but not in the same psychotic way.

His impatience is initially a complete blind spot for him. He doesn’t know how impatient he is until it is pointed out to him. He constantly nagging, jaw-clenching, teeth-grinding, and swearing at the slightest frustration (Despite he’s the one who lazy and the messy).

Namshin need to hear and see a great deal of appreciation. If his efforts go unnoticed, he may start fishing for compliments, keeps saying things on purpose in an attempt to get reassurance of how much he is valued.

Namshin is also vulnerable to critism. It can be especially challenging to change these tendencies because he is so conflict-averse. He can become very defensive and hurt if someone, especially a person close to him, criticizes his habits, beliefs or traditions.

Background:

Chapter 1: Early life

After a week of serving as a resident doctor at one of the hospitals in Incheon city, Lee Kangmin was already accustomed to hear emergency calls. He rushed to a room. There is a young woman with a weak body, who wanted to give birth. There was no one there. There was no family who came with her. She came alone with great effort. Kangmin didn’t have time to ask what her name was and where she came from. Her face was pale, but still looked beautiful. Her condition was bad. Her babies breeched. Before losing her consciousness, the woman was begging the doctor in charge, Park Kwangji, to save her babies.

When the caesarean section began, the room suddenly became colder. Snowflakes fell from the ceiling. Kangmin and Kwangji were confused. But they had to concentrate on saving the babies, so they kept their mouth shut.

They managed to save the babies. Fraternal twins, female and male. They look healthy and adorable. But they cannot save the woman. She died. Her body froze. The room was filled with snow piles. This doesn't make sense. Where did the snow come from?

The next day, a serious problem occurred. The woman's body was gone. Someone had taken her body away. The hospital also didn't know the identity of the woman, so there were no other families of the babies they could contact.

After negotiating with his wife, Kangmin finally adopted the babies. They named the baby girl with Yeoshin which means goddess, and the baby boy named Namshin which means god, because they were gifts from the gods to Kangmin's family.

Chapter 2: War Game

Yeoshin and Namshin grow up into adorable children. However, when they were 4 years old, they started doing strange things. Sometimes, when Yeoshin snapped her fingers, a flame sparked on her palms. Namshin once made the rain stop about an inch above his head, and pointed it to the other direction. Or worse, they said they will play a war game with Yeoshin as the villain, Namshin as the superhero, and some toys as the citizens, and what they mean by war game was, Yeoshin set all of Namshin's toys on fire and Namshin tried to save them by flooding his room with water from the bathroom.

Kangmin wasn't surprised at all of those odd things. Long before, he had expected that they were not ordinary children, just like their biological mothers. However, Kangmin's wife, Rayeon, panicked and yelled hysterically when she first saw it. Later Kangmin told her about a strange incident when their mother's caesarean section took place, how the room was suddenly filled with snow piles.

They kept those secret, pretending they knew nothing about odd things their son and daughter could do, as if it had never happened, and remind them not to "play" while they were outside the house, especially when there were other people around them. At home, they were free to "play" as long as they do not cause great damage.

Chapter 3: The Intruders

They haven't used their power often since entering elementary school. The eldest, Yeoshin, was more interested in studying and tended to be quiet, while Namshin careless about study and played more. He was very cheerful and talkative. He told her mother about every detail they did at school every day, sometimes accidentally telling stories about Yeoshin who accidentally burned one of her friends' lunch box. In such situations, Rayeon would pretend to not believe and scolded Namshin for telling a lie, and Namshin ended up getting a flick on his forehead from Yeoshin as a punishment for having told their secrets.

However, when they thought that no one else knew their secret, a group of people, dressed in all black, came to their house, claiming to be relatives of the twins and forcing to take the twins away with them. Rayeon recognized one of them as the homeroom teacher of Yeoshin and Namshin. Rayeon refused forcefully, trying to protect her children with all her might, until her life ended in the teacher's hands. This made yeoshin's blood boil and caused her to lose control, set their house on fire, burned down their house and the intruders who were still trapped inside. Namshin managed to take Yeoshin out of the house after struggled to make something in the form of a water shield. Kangmin arrived just as Namshin and Yeoshin managed to get out of the house that was already swallowed by fire.

Chapter 4: The Trainer

Exactly a month after the incident, Kangmin decided to move to the United States after getting an offer from one of the hospitals there. They decided to start new life by forgetting about the abilities that Yeoshin and Namshin have, worried that someone else would come and take the twins away, again. But that doesn't last long. Their new neighbor, a man who seemed to be in his mid-twenties named Edward Kim, came to them and offered to train Namshin and Yeoshin, because he thought that they had the potential to create a major disaster if they couldn't control the great power they had.

Later on, they learned that Edward was a water user, just like Namshin. And according to his story, his late mother was a fire user just like Yeoshin. Since he shared the same powers with Namshin, he trained Namshin personally, while Yeoshin learned from the legacy notebook of the late mother of Edward. At first, Namshin was very enthusiastic to learn about his abilities, but soon hated it because Edward scolded him every day, reminding him to be patient and concentrate. Namshin was basically not a patient person and he found himself difficult to concentrate, so he was always looking for reasons to skip training. On the other hand, Yeoshin actively studied from the legacy notebook, quickly mastering several techniques of controlling fire, but never used it unless in a very urgent situation. She was still traumatized by the incident several years ago when she burned down their house in Incheon.

Edward not only trained them, but also filled a brother's role for them when their father wasn't at home. Kangmin could focus on working because he believed that Edward would take good care of the twins. For Kangmin, Edward was like his own son. He was very close to Edward, to entrust the security of his children to him.

Chapter 5: The New Math Teacher

After Kangmin's employment contract in California ended, they moved to Tokyo, Japan. Kangmin doesn't want to go back to South Korea because he was afraid that someone will recognize his children and try to take them away. He was also still traumatized of the incident that had taken the life of his beloved wife.

Namshin was the saddest person when they have to part with Edward. Edward had to promise to call him frequently and often visit them in Japan so Namshin would stop crying. Yeoshin also cried, and that made Edward stunned because it was the first time he saw Yeoshin cry after 6 years of knowing her. Kangmin suggest Edward to move with them to Japan, but Edward refused.

In the first weeks they lived in Japan, Namshin was having a hard time because he could not speak Japanese at all. On the other hand, Yeoshin learned quickly, but she was still difficult to adapt because she wasn't a person with a social mind like Namshin. As the results, they stayed in their house throughout the day, waiting for their tutor to teach Japanese to them, waiting for a call from Edward, and waiting for their father to come home.

It took at 2 whole months for Namshin to be able to know Japanese in a very simple form, and Yeoshin had to wait for 2 whole months so that Namshin could help her in adapting to her new neighborhood.

However, after a year of living in Tokyo and being able to adapt well, someone they thought had died in the incident 7 years ago appeared before them. Their math teacher was on maternity leave, so the math class will be taught by a new teacher. And to their shock, their new math teacher was the same person as their homeroom teacher in elementary school who had killed their mother. Namshin jumped to his feet, pulled Yeoshin's hand and intended to escape from the room, but it was too late, because she had attacked them first. The teacher also attacked a group of students who were jostling at the exit. Namshin and Yeoshin cannot provide meaningful resistance. Yeoshin was still in shock to the point that she didn't know what to do, while Namshin only focused on protecting Yeoshin and his other friends. Luckily, Edward was in Tokyo, and somehow he could arrive at their school on time and save them.

Kangmin was so shocked by this incident. He even thought of moving to a small country which was very far from South Korea and Japan, but Edward suggested bringing the twins back to South Korea. He knew one of the professors in Syndicate, a school that accommodates students with special abilities such as Yeoshin and Namshin. Kangmin was actually not willing if his children had to return to South Korea, but if it was for their safety, there was nothing else he could do other than agree with Edward's suggestion.

relationship

Twin Sister|Lee Yeoshin|Intelligent, strategic, decisive, organized, arrogant, quiet (INTJ)|10/10|
(Fc: Gugudan's Hana)

If there’s someone who know him better than himself, it must be his fraternal (older) twin sister, Lee Yeoshin. Their father work at hospital, so it was just the two of them at home (after her adoptive mother passed away). She cooked for him and even dressed him. Yeoshin is extremely overprotective over Namshin, that sometimes Namshin think she’s his mother. These two are so close, that they can finish each other’s scentences/thoughts. Even though they have completely opposites personality, they do have that certain twin bond that usually only identical twin would have.

Namshin look up to her, even though he's a constant victim of her teasing insult when he says or does something stupid. They tries to protect each other with all their powers.

Adoptive Father|Lee Kangmin|Curious, observant, enthusiastic, friendly, emotional (ENFP)|8/10|
(Fc: Ma Dongseok)

He’s just an ordinary human without supernatural powers. He currently works at a huge Hospital in Tokyo, Japan. Namshin barely spent times with his him. He could only see him very briefly at night. He was always busy (even in the weekend), off to work from early morning when Namshin still adventuring in the dreamland and come home very late at night. By the time he got home, it’s time for the twins to go to sleep.

Although they rarely spend time together, you could say they are quite close. Kangmin frequently makes sure to call Namshin and Yeoshin every time he has a brief break. And when he has time off - which is rare - on weekends, he always takes them to go to the amusement park, the favorite place of the twins.

Trainer|Edward Kim|Optimistic, energetic, creative, rational, stubborn, insensitive (ISTP)|9.5/10|
(Fc: Vixx's Ravi)

He was Namshin's house next door and trainer during Namshin's days in California. It's not known exactly how old Edward is, and he doesn't get older at all in the 11 years since they met. Since he first saw Namshin and Yeoshin, he knew that they were special. He came to them and offered to train them. He taught the twins how to control their powers, which frustrated Namshin to no end.

He also serves as a brother figure to Namshin and Yeoshin, trying to make dinner when they feel upset. Even after they doesn't live in Califonia anymore, he frequently calls them and comes to visit them once every two months.

Close Friend|Kang Minwoo|Intelligent, creative, overconfident, mischievous, unforgiving|9/10|
(Fc: Monsta X's Kihyun)

His partner in crime. Minwoo and Namshin tend to get along pretty great, with Minwoo and him being evil pranksters in a lot of situations. To be exact, Minwoo is the brain of their evil plan. While Namshin never intended to do harm jokes, Minwoo always plays mean and pretends not to. They loves to tease other student or even some staff with their power, and with Namshin’s lack of control, they often cause disasters.

???|Park Sojin|Friendly, empathetic, observant, intuitive, secretive, vengeful, moody|?/10|
(Fc: Loona's Hyunjin)

TBA

Junior/Close Friend|Yang Yeejin|Empathetic, honest, intelligent, possessive, short-tempered|8/10|
(Fc: Wang Yireon)

Namshin and Yeejin are close friends thanks to Yeoshin. Namshin enjoys Yeejin's company when Yeoshin isn't around. He thinks Yeejin is cute, so he kind of wants to take care of her. He wants her to be safe and happy as much as he wants Yeoshin to be safe and happy because she makes his sister smiles and less quiet and he's thankful for her.

power   : water manipulation 🌊
Back-up : EArth Manipulation

Elaboration:

Namshin can create, shape and manipulate water, inorganic compound with liquid, gas (steam, water vapor), and solid (ice) states, including changing them from one state to other. By simply levitating a large mass of water, Namshin can move water anywhere he wish, even parting it under the surface of a lake or sea, allowing him to walk along the bottom of a basin without the need to swim. He can also use water as weapons, either by shaping them into certain forms, swung repeatedly at a target, formed momentarily into a razor-sharp edge that can cut through even metal, or simply dropped onto an opponent to smother them or put out a fire.

 Techniques:

Water Lock aaaaa.

Namshin has the ability to materialize a large circular mass of water, with no oxygen inside. This is used to capture enemies and incapacitate them by suffocation.

Icicle Rain aaaaa.

By freezing select areas of a body of water to sub-zero temperatures, Namshin is capable of producing razor-sharp icicles and launching them like missiles towards a target while submerged.

Water Nebula aaaaa.

Namshin can creates two columns of water, which rotate around each other and forms a helix that pushes the opponent with huge force, causing massive damage. This is used primarily for long distance attacks against a single opponent.

Water Slicer aaaaa.

Namshin has the ability to shape water into a super-sharp edge or point for a split-second, making a slash that can cut trough whatever they may encounter.

Water Bullet aaaaa.

Namshin can bends a large amount of water and sends it in a forceful blow toward their target. It is similar to water nebula, but This is basic yet useful because it takes little time to perform and has a significant effect on the target.

Water Shield aaaaa.

Namshin is able to freeze water in front of him, creating a protective shield of ice. Although usually protective, the shield needs some type of compression or else it will not be effective.

Water Pavor aaaaa.

Namshin can cool the hydrogen molecules in the air to create water (or fog) to blind people vision.

aaaaa. Not At All Dangerous

aaaaa. Moderately Dangerous

aaaaa. Dangerous

aaaaa. Extremely Dangerous

Before came to the Syndicate, Namshin was trained to control his power by Edward, who live next to his house when they lived in California. He taught him various techniques in combat, from techniques that were completely harmless to deadly techniques. He has been trained for years to master his power, but he still can't control his power most of the time. The problem is, none other than his patience. Controlling and manipulating water requires patience, concentrates on flow of energy and focuses less on strength. Namshin gets bored very easily, especially when practicing. Namshin never wants to practice more than 2 hours a day, and doesn't want to practice every day, especially if his sister is not around. If his sister is around when he is practicing, he will pretend to practice seriously only to get praise.

He made a lot of progress after come to the Syndicate. Rules and discipline in the Syndicate kick him in the . He can no longer play around or pretend to be sick. As for now, he is still poor in his water shield technique. His water lock technique? He can create it within seconds and it's perfectly effective.

 Weaknesses:

♣ Maximun range is 25 meters.
♣ Controlling  and  manipulating  great  bodies  of  water  over  an  excecive  periods of time is
exhausting, and he would starts to feels week or/and even faint, and  be  left  unconscious  for
  hours.
♣ Namshin’s powers is connected to his present emotional state. If he lose his temper, his powers
force is intensified, but in turn, control is lost.
♣ The moon's absence during a lunar eclipse results in a complete loss of Namshin’s ability (he
gain power from the moon, with his powers at it zenith during full moons).

 Comments:.

Collaborating for twins character is harder than I thought. It took 2 whole weeks debating about their powers and (especially) background. We matched the layout and our character's backgrounds will be 100% same. ~~~ Hope you'll like him ~~~

 Scene requests:.

♣ Yeejin thinks that Namshin is kidnapped or something because he didn't appear since morning, and there comes Yeoshin and says that Namshin is sleeping soundly since last night and will not wake up despite a tsunami occurs. They then asks if he is fine, and with a grin, Yeoshin replies that he is more than healthy and told them that Namshin had even slept more than 24 hours in a row.

♣ Yeoshin accidentally lost her favorite thing, and goes to look for it barefoot. Namshin shakes his head at her behavior, but still follows her, carrying shoes and a sweater for her, worries that she would catch a cold.

♣ I would be very grateful if you let Namshin sets a trap on new students and end up got caught by a professor and get punished.

♣ He grabbed what he thought was zucchini at the shops and fly into a rage, even suddenly masters his icicle rain technique when he realized that it was cucumber.

Password: “I suspect they are experimenting on a very strong beast, which might have abilities that are a combination of our abilities, with no limitation.” Namshin scratched his neck and continued, “Or maybe not. I think I'm reading fiction books too much. Please don't let Yeoshin noona know about this.”

Keira’s Opinion: I think they are experimenting in making very strong creatures, which can handle all kinds of forces that exist on earth by studying the data on the strengths and limitations of each student, and it might be a bad news. (It seems like the one that overdosed with a fiction book is NOT Namshin, BUT me XD )
