Kihyun was the only son of a rich family in Seoul. Kihyun wasn't all for the etiquette and learning how to manage your many friends teachings given to him by several instructors. He was more into inventing and technology. It all started one day during class when the teacher announced that the school would be having clubs as part of their extra curricular activities. One by one the club representatives introduced themselves and what their club was about. None seemed to catch Kihyun's interest. That is until the final representative came in. He showed the students the robot he invented. A robot that followed commands through speech. Everyone was really amazed by it especially Kihyun. He immediately joined that club right after the introductions were over. There he learned a lot about the nature of technology and inventing. He started his very own project after a few meeting in the club. He became obsessed with putting his idea into reality that he even started skipping classes to stay in the library to read more on technology and programming. He'd been buying cheap parts from the junk shop frequently to form his invention. After a few months of hardwork he had finally created his very first invention. A virtual voice commanded cork board where in you could state what you want posted on that cork board. He showed it to his parents to see how they would react to it. His mom was very proud of him but his father on the other hand was the opposite. He told Kihyun that he wasted so much time just to create that stupid thing. His dad was also outraged by the fact that there were pictures of him coming out a junk shop which in the rich world was considered a no-no. His father also found out that he had been skipping classes which fueled his anger even more saying that if he wasn't going to create anything useful or amazing, then he shouldn't be skipping classes. This lowered Kihyun's self-confidence by a lot. He wasn't as confident in planning and creating his inventions as he was before. There would always be doubt and success was the only thing that boosted his confidence but when failure prevailed then it would just sadden him and remind him of his fathers words. He started to listen to the lectures about etiquette and how to be a gentleman teachings from the instructors because his mother talked to him about it. She wanted him to focus more on his studies and the lessons given by the instructors since his grades were getting lower and he didn't want another scolding from his father.

Though his father's words did leave a scary mark in his brain that didn't stop him from inventing. The next things he invented were weapons. He loved action movies especially ones that have a lot of cool weaponry like those futuristic guns and shields. He has created several and tested them in forests using plastic bottles as his targets. His vision had been getting increasingly blurry due to him staring at a computer screen for several hours coding away so he needed some glasses to be able to see clearly. His mom got him round framed glasses and also some contacts if ever the glasses wasn't his style. He ended up liking the glasses more than the contacts since the contacts were kinda irritating and a huge struggle to put on and take off. He noticed that his friends started telling him that he looked better with the glasses. That was a real confidence booster for him since he wasn't really the most attractive one in school, just one of those cute faces but now with the glasses he has become even cuter than before(based on his female classmates). The time came when the Empire had started to take up most of the cities and making it their own. Their household was no exception. They were told that they would have to leave before the Empire gets there or there will be consequences. His father was stubborn and didn't want them to leave. He wanted to stand his ground and stay even when the Empire started pounding on their door. Kihyun knew that they would be killed if they didn't leave but he also knew that his father was gonna leave anytime soon. The pounding on the door got louder and louder which meant that they were getting agitated. Kihyun ran up to his room and grabbed one of the weapons he invented which was a gun with additional features to it. He heard gunshots while he was running back down to the living room. He saw that both his parents had been shot and were dead on the floor. Angered by this Kihyun used his weapon to kill the Empire soldiers who had shot his parents until no one was left. He weeped for days and couldn't leave that spot beside his parents for a long time until he finally let go and moved on. Kihyun moved into the safer places not occupied by the Empire and found an apartment he could rent with the money left to him. 

One day while he was out on his usual troll in town, a lady cried out yelling and pointing at a figure which she says stole her purse. Kihyun pulled out his least lethal weapon, which was used to knock out the target, and fired at the criminal. The criminal fell face forward and out cold. Kihyun returned the purse to the lady who thanked him for his help and even offered to buy him some lunch for his trouble which Kihyun politely declined. Gongchan was there to witness everything and he knew weapons like that weren't on the market nor were they created by the local blacksmith. He approached Kihyun that same day and told him that he had talent, talent that Haven could use if ever he was willing to join them. After learning about Haven, Kihyun joined and was trained by Gongchan himself. His skinny body turned into one with a strong build due to the heavy training Gongchan gave him. Gongchan saw Kihyun's height as an advantage. Most of the members of Haven were tall and couldn't qualify for stealth whatsoever but with Kihyun, they had someone who could easily fit through small spaces and slip into the shadows other than Jisoo. He was taught by Jisoo on how to be stealthy and move through small spaces and through rooftops as well. Basically she taught him how to parkour and stay hidden. Kihyun currently is a soldier of HAVEN and also the inventor of the group who is constantly working on new weapons and utilities while scavenging for parts.
