Rarity's Baby Adventures

Hi everyone!

So, usually when I post about my now 15 month old daughter, it's usually Kpop related, but since her little adventure tonight, I decided to share some of the mischief she gets into.

A few weeks ago I was in the bathroom (and trust me, they wait for you to be in there before unleashing whatever they're plotting), and I hear a high pitched beeping. It was the carbon monoxide detector, which runs off of either wall or battery power, and we had it unplugged and left it sitting on a desk while we were reorganizing the nursery.

Well, I come out of the half bath of my bedroom to find that Rarity had found a way to get around the baby gate, and why was the detector beeping? She had the carbon monoxide detector in one hand while spamming the test button and a fidget spinner in the other and while running down the hallway with both above her head, giggling like a maniac.

And tonight she was with me in the living room and one of my cats, my Bangal/Maine Coon mix, Acadia, wanted some cuddle time. While he snuggled up in my lap, I felt my husband's armchair wiggle, hear a pop and then: rattle, rattle crunchcrunchcrunch. This happened a couple times and I got up and look behind the chair to find Rarity sitting there with a container of her blueberry puff snacks. She had grabbed the treats, snuck back there and opened the container by herself. She was munching away with a big, proud smile on her face like she was telling me "Look what I did by myself, mommy!".

I'm raising a mini me and my mother is having way too much fun with this. Children really can be a grandparent's revenge. XD
