TRAINEE BACKGROUND [ ⋆ ]  She discovered idols in 2009 when she heard SNSD's Gee at a mall. Although she didn't understand what the lyrics meant at that time, she was instantly captured by the upbeat melody. Through random blogsurfing she managed to find out who sang the song and ended up watching all of SNSD's MVs at once. In 2010, SNSD released Hoot and Olivia decided to learn the choreography and record a cover, which she uploaded on Youtube. Over the years, she continued doing a few more dance covers. At the same time, she fell in love with several other idol groups.

Seeing how cool her idols looked singing and dancing on stage, Olivia wanted to be an idol like them. Right after her O levels, she sent an audition tabe to Cube Entertainment and was accepted. However, she didn't realise there was so much she had to go through behind the scenes, from diets to long training hours to restrictions on cellphone usage. Nevertheless, she thought it would be worth it if she eventually debuted. Cube originally planned to add Olivia to CLC for their comeback with "Like" but as the comeback approached, they felt that she needed more training and she was sent back to their basement. Olivia was planned as one of the members to be added to CLC for their "High Heels" comeback but narrowly lost to Elkie in the final evaluation. She was upset at first but was optimistic when she started training with the to-be members of G-Idle. However, due to a setback, she left Cube Entertainment in late 2015 and went back to Singapore.

While back in Singapore, she restarted her Youtube channel. As her mum is a K-drama fan, Olivia accidentally heard Rough during the interval before her mum's drama on TV and instantly fell in love with the soft melody which quickly became upbeat and the meaningful lyrics. She saw the announcement of the Rough cover contest on 1theK's Youtube channel and jumped at the opportunity to participate.

In 2017, Fantasia Entertainment noticed Olivia's Youtube channel and invited her to audition for them. She sent them a video of herself dancing to Cherry Day's "Cherry On Top" and was accepted as a trainee. Her trainee life in Fantasia wasn't really drastic except she was slightly stressed out about whether she would get to debut or would have to move back to Singapore and sell bubble tea again. She was exhilarated to be chosen as the lead dancer of Nova but was slightly disappointed that she wasn't the maknae as she had been a little sister and very child-like most of her life and she was shook that there was a girl who would potentially look up to her.

This scandal is true but she is totally not like Naomi at all.
// "Nova's Vivi dislikes CLC's Elkie??" Olivia and Elkie were both foreign trainees in Cube, and both were training very hard to debut. When it was found out that Olivia was a former Cube trainee, netizens speculated that she disliked Elkie because she was jealous that Elkie debuted in CLC instead of her and left Cube because she was upset at not being chosen for CLC. This scandal is false.

Her childhood and early teen years were very happy, even very comfortable, and her sister Naomi was her best friend. However, when Olivia was 14, Naomi wrote a blog post about the pain and loss of her first love and instantly shot to fame. Since then, Naomi's life started to revolve around fame and exposure, and her personality changed totally from a sweet and nice girl to a y attention seeker. Also I'm so happy that you used Yeeun again :) I kinda refined / redid the OC I applied for Villa with but I didn't think she'd be suitable for this story. (Her name when I applied for Villa was Arisa but I changed her name to Erika.) I'm using Yves as the fc for Olivia's second love interest for now since Yeeun's filler fc is Yves and I happen to have a picture of her in my photobucket.
