casual :Being obsessed with fashion, Nari can be picky at times of what to wear. Some of her clothes she designed herself in the past but hasn't had the opportunity to turn anymore of her sketches into reality since debut. She loves wearing skirts and dresses more than jeans, and loves patterns, lace, and flares as long as it isn't too much and is paired with simpler pieces. TRAINEE BACKGROUND [ ⋆ ]   As her modeling career was halted, Nari figured auditioning for Fantasia would be the next best thing considering her passion for singing. Trainee life was a completely different world though. The strict schedule, rules, and diets were slightly overwhelming for her at first, but she began adjusting better. 19 year old Nari was passionate about singing and always thought she was pretty good at it. She knew she was never the best out of the trainees, but thought she was better than the label seemed to think. They only seemed to focus on marketing through her visuals when there had always been much more to her. Clearly she'd also known that she was beautiful compared to modeling where the main point is appearance, something was different about appearance being the focus in the music industry. Unlike the typical confident Nari, when she'd been replaced and moved to second lead vocal she became slightly insecure and lazy in terms of her singing. Even knowing it was the label's decision she couldn't help but feel frustrated towards the other girl. She knew she had so much more potential but its being hidden due to the image of her best for the group. This is also why she can't help but emphasize how beautiful she is, the role of "visual" being the one spot that surely belongs to her.

// Beneath the surface of Nova's visual lies a typical girl with flaws and strengths seen most often by those close to her. Nari is known to be very confident on and off screen, constantly obsessing over her appearance as she's her own biggest supporter, but also being extremely well at ignoring hateful comments and articles online. Unknown to many she is very intelligent with knowledge on many topics that others would never know exist. Nari also expresses herself creatively through songwriting, though none of her songs have ever been used by the group before, as well as makeup and the artwork in her sketchbook. On the other hand Nari also tends to belazy at times which is an issue commonly debated about between the members. While she does try her best when performing, she's usually the first to complain about veing tired or annoyed during long practices. Being overdramatic is also a specialty of hers as she exaggerates often. She relaxes much more than some of the others which causes tension at times. Acting on impulse is also common as Nari doesn't think about the consequences of her actions at times but rather letting instincts take over. Her relationship with many of the other girls also isn't as strong as it may appear at times being that Nari keeps much of her personal life from the girls and the sisterhood aspect isn't completely there at the moment.

BACKGROUND [ ⋆ ] September 10, 1994 Nari's mother gave birth to their first child, a healthy baby girl in Gwangju, South Korea. Nari's family life was generally good growing up. Both of her parents provided incomes and she got a baby brother to keep her company and entertainment. The two were always getting into trouble as kids for breaking things, saying bad words, or not listening and while their father was easy in them and would explain to them why they were wrong for what they did, their mother yelled often. This didn't necessarily make them scared of their mother but they started being more sneaky about things as they knew she'd react negatively if she found out. Nari was always smart in school and was always considered popular since elementary school. In middle school and high school though she realized that the social aspect of the environment was much more intense. Some people hated her either because she was too y or because they were jealous, and others only wanted to be friends with her because she was popular. While she couldn't remove the labels from her, she lost trust in the people around her and became more introverted and less likely to let people in easily, her only close friend being Shin Hyojun, a boy a year older than her who seemed more laid back and honest than anyone she'd ever met.

When she was 17 she was shopping with Hyojun when a man appeared to be following them for some reason, before they turned around and questioned what his issue was. He claimed to be a scout from a modeling agency which took interest in Nari. Taking his information she returned home to discuss it with her parents when she was scolded by her mother for even taking the man's information as she wanted Nari to focus on only her education, this being the same reason why she'd prevented Nari from taking singing lessons or dance classes. Storming out of the home, the girl left to stat with Hyojun in his small studio apartment which he'd moved into after leaving his own family's home. The next day she returned mid day, expecting her parents to be at work though her father sat awake all night waiting for her. He explained her mother's concern, but told her that she had his permission to follow through with modeling. From here her modeling career began, though it only lasted a year and a half before she found troubles with her agency management as they weren't even making much of an attempt to find her work and she ended up leaving, before finding her way to Fantasia less than a year later.

They hugged, held hands, slept in the same bed and even kissed at times. She'd steal his t-shirts and hoodies and his camera roll was filled with candid photos of her. Now that they've decided to be an actual couple...things aren't much different. They still have to act as just friends in public due to their careers, though their relationship is no secret to his group members. The other boys treat Nari like a sister and help the two meet up and keep cover. The girls of Nova on the other hand are being kept from the news, Nari feeling that its not their business to know.

On good days, the two will either meet at his dorm or a more secluded area where many people would not recognize them. Everything is lovey as they are a very flirtatious pair and Nari is suddenly a fan of skinship when she's with him. More recently though, the two have had trouble in paradise. Its more difficult to meet up with all of the attention surrounding both the girls and the popularity of Monsta X. The pair is more distant than usual, and although they text and talk when they have the chance, its stressful to focus on a relationship as well as so many other things. Wonho sends Nari presents such as flowers and candy when he can to keep things sweet, but it seems that adding the labels of "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" have only taken the fun out of what they originally loved so much.

HISTORY [ ⋆ ] Nari and Wonho met through a modeling gig years ago almost instantly becoming friends. They started hanging out more, even helping eachother practice on spare time, their relationship growing as they became closer throughout the years and soon becoming attracted to eachother.

// As Nari's time on the show continues, she begins to realize the troubles of having a relationship as a potential idol increasing. The large camera crew watching the every move of the girls adds another obstacle to the already sticky situation of finding chances to meet up. When the two are together, the mood isn't right due to overwhelming work related stress, which translates into more bickering between the couple. Calls and texts become less frequent as they both now have more responsibilities than ever, and while they still care deeply about eachother, at the moment the attraction isn't the same as it once was.

// The two decide to call it quits for now as the fate of Nari's career is worth more than she'd ever imagine it would reach a year ago, and she'd realized that she'd rather not risk it for an imperfect relationship. With the leaking of photos of them hugging outside and the negative reaction from both her members and the label, the two had no other choice but also agreed on their own that things weren't working out anyways. The label discloses an apology statement from nari, as well as reporting that the two had broken up weeks before and were only meeting as friends at that time. She begins to spend more of her free time on extra practice, or trying to spend more time with the girls. She tries to get to know the newer members better and the girls notice the change from the more impulsive girl she was months ago to the more passionate and somewhat more understanding girl she became. The value of hard work and dedication became clearer in her mind though of course she still has a long way to go as she still has her diva tendencies and selfish moments.

ANY LAST COMMENTS [ ⋆ ] I hope this is okay, I tried to make this cute and I hope she's what you wanted for the plotline but I apologize if this haha. I took out the second love interest and replaced it with what I imagine the ending for their relationship to be as well as Nari's character progression throughout the story but please make any changes best for the story!
