Same as any other girls out there, Junghee is a cheerful-outgoing girl who is hardworking in all the things she does. her parents taught her not to be spoiled and if she really wants something she has to work hard for it. Whether it would be having good grades in school or something else. She is a girl who is quite playful, she likes to joke around and make everyone smile but when its time to get serious ,Junghee gets serious. Junghee has a driven personality, Since she wants to be involved in the entertainment industry she was taught to be open minded in all the criticisms she will receive and use those criticisms to motivate her to do better. She would like to describe herself as a deep kind of person. This girl has a positive outlook in life, Junghee can be seen as a deep kind of person and she doesnt believe in bad luck nor in good luck. If things doesnt go the way she wanted to, she analyzes first on what went wrong then she analyzes what did she do to make that happen; Before she makes a move to set things right.

She has negative side though. Being impatient is one of them. She has trouble waiting for people, she dislikes it if someone asks her to meet them and she will be the one to arrive early. Junghee doesnt like it when things are in a slow pace, she doesnt like beating around the bush. Junghee wants things to be done immediately, Unless it was a sunbaenim or a staff member she tolerates it. Her impatience can lead her to become anxious, which sometimes causes her to over think and make her feel worried. She is also a bit selfish when it comes to her favourite food such as tteokbokki,kimbap,and jokbal, especially dumplings or any personal items of hers, like clothes or make-up (She says its because of hygeinic reasons). Junghee can also be quite clumsy as she may easily lose any of her belongings, she may accidentally knock off some things accidentally (such as water bottles properly placed on the floor, she sometimes accidentally knock them out of order ), or sometimes food falling on her shirt and ends up staining on the shirt.

Though there are also times when she gets a bit aggressive whenever she plays games on her phone or games in general ; she likes to beat her high score, She is quite competitive. Her being competitive isnt really a bad thing, She just likes doing her best in everything she does. Junghee doesnt like to do things half-baked. She doesnt want to show that she trained for nothing. Despite being all smiles and optimistic, She can get really insecure, especially whenever she see someone who does better than her. She doesnt like to show it to others and burden them with her own personal problem. Junghee sometimes like to lock herself in her room and cry it all out. To Junghee the only person who is her true rival is herself.

background —
On September 8, 1998 Geum Junghee was born in Texas,USA. Both her parents are full korean but it just so happens the two were in Texas during that time (because of a family affair). Her father is a teacher in an all boys high school whilst her mother is a simple housewife back in Korea. Junghee's father moved back first to Korea since he has to go back to his job. Meanwhile Junghee's mom started to work when she was a year old in America, she worked as a chef in a Diner whilst Junghee is in her grandparent's home. Junghee and her mom returned to Korea when she was about to turn five. The family then was reunited and stayed in a small home big enough for the three of them. Her mother decided to open a small diner as a family business for additional funds.

As a child Junghee is fond of performing, at first she wanted to become an actress when she saw windstruck of Jeon Jihyun but she changed her mind when a performance of Kwon BoA was shown on tv. Ever since then BoA has become her favourite singer and made her want to become a singer someday.

Her parents were pretty much supportive in whatever she wanted to do in life. When Junghee said she wanted to be a singer, her parents allowed her to attend singing lessons. Her parents even allowed her to join the school's dance team and that's where she learned how to dance. Junghee never had formal dance lessons.

She first auditioned for different entertainment companies when she was 13 but she didnt got accepted at any entertainments. Junghee decided to focus on her studies and further enhance her talent. Despite auditioning for an entertainment Industry, She was first streetcasted by SM entertainment. Junghee was a bit taken a back since she was on her way to school when she was casted. She thought she was being scammed so she ran away from the streetcaster.

She auditioned again for several companies when she was fourteen, She got accepted in Music K and Big Hit. She chose the latter as the offer was much better. 

She trained everyday after school and even during weekends. At first it was hard since training is harder than she thought it would be but eventually she got used to it. She had to live in a dorm with other trainees therefore making her live separately with her parents. She loves food but she had to give it up when they were told to follow a strict diet.

Whilst staying in Big Hit she trained hard in Singing, It gave her sore throat experiences that she even almost had to go to the hospital because of it. Junghee had singing lessons as a kid but it was only for a short while (around a year). 

She trained more for dancing despite not being a lead or main dancer material at first, It was because the entertainment said she has to learn much more technique and not just doing mediocre covers. She needs to be versatile and needs to have the technique if she wanted to debut. Junghee had a bit of trouble learning different styles of dance at first but now the girl can manage to dance decently though still lacking in some aspects.

Junghee was honestly surprised as she was chosen along with other girls to be part of the lineup for Big Hit's new girl group. Doesnt mean they are part of the lineup they are immediately part of the group, they could replace you anytime once you show you are slacking off. She is the moodmaker of the group as she was the hyper one and she managed to make everyone smile even if times are tough.

personality — Jungkook is actually shy and immature, compared to his feisty and y image on stage. Its true he has a hard time interacting with girls but he is trying his best. His personality on camera is the same off camera. He is playful and sometimes a brat to his hyungs, though if he is infront of girls he turns into a shy kid that you really have to talk to if you want him to not give you one word replies. He is also a type of person who tries their best and doesnt want to let other people down. Jungkook dislikes dissapointing people. Jungkook is also a man who sticks to his word, he doesnt like broken promises; If he made a promise he will do his best to fulfill it.
 

how they met —It was when shy Jeon Jungkook was introduced as their new classmate. Junghee finds it quite odd how the rest of the girls in their class were squealing. Maybe because he is an idol Junghee thought. They formaly met when both were paired to do an assignment. Jungkook liked it how Junghee wasnt the type that would squeal or fangirl around him. It was like he was treated as a normal person.

The two got closer as they were often paired for class activites. Jungkook and Junghee hang out whenever Jungkook is in class, The boy was surprised that Junghee is a trainee in Big Hit ('no wonder she was the only one who didnt squeal when i first arrived' he thought). It took them a while to be comfortable with each other. Out of all the girls in class Jungkook enjoys his company with Junghee the most since she doesnt befriend him because is he is a part of BTS. Soon enough they become good friends and Jungkook is added to Junghee's group of friends (Pinky and Sohee). The four students would casually hang out at school. The others find it weird that Jungkook is the only guy (or only girl like the girls like to say) in the group. If one were to describe their friendship it would be like siblings who bicker all the time. Junghee would often steal Jungkook's hoodie or food whenever they are at school. Jungkook would whenever she sneezes when she looks at the sun and also her love for disney. They even play overwatch together, They are teammates and even curse at each other as they play the game, both are very competitive.  Jungkook is the one of the few people Junghee can talk to about her own insecurities, the said boy would simply listen to her since that's what all she needs whenever she is gonna have a mental breakdown; Someone to listen to.  Jungkook likes how Junghee has no filter when they are hanging out, sometimes he thinks he is hanging out with a guy rather than a girl.
