Same as any other girls out there, Haeryung is a cheerful-outgoing girl who is hardworking in all the things she does. her parents taught her not to be spoiled and if she really wants something she has to work hard for it. Whether it would be having good grades in school or something else. Haeryung has a driven personality, Since she wants to be involved in the entertainment industry she was taught to be open minded in all the criticisms she will receive and use those criticisms to motivate her to do better. Haeryung is very determined and is the kind of person who will pursue things they set their mind on. She would like to describe herself as a deep kind of person. This girl has a positive outlook in life, Haeryung can be seen as a deep kind of person and she doesnt believe in bad luck nor in good luck. She has negative side though. being impatient is one of them. She has trouble waiting for people, she dislikes it if someone asks her to meet them and she will be the one to arrive early. Haeryung doesnt like it when things are in a slow pace, she doesnt like beating around the bush. Haeryung wants things to be done immediately, Unless it was a sunbaenim or a staff member she tolerates it. Her impatience leads her to become anxious, which sometimes causes her to over think. She is also a bit selfish when it comes to her favourite food such as tteokbokki,kimbap,and jokbal, especially dumplings or any personal items of hers, like clothes or make-up (She says its because of hygeinic reasons). She is also a bit clumsy, she can accidentally knock over some water bottles by accident or sometimes just trip over nothing.

Though there are also times when she gets a bit aggressive whenever she plays games on her phone she likes to beat her high score, She is quite competitive. Her being competitive isnt really a bad thing, She just likes doing her best in everything she does. Haeryung doesnt like to do things half-baked. She doesnt want to show that she trained for nothing. Despite being all smiles and optimistic, She can get really insecure. She doesnt like to show it to others and burden them with her own personal problem. Haeryung sometimes like to lock herself in her room and cry it all out. To Haeryung the only person who is her true rival is herself.

Born on November 24 2000 to a small family living in Gwangju, South Korea. As a child Haeryung really loved to perform as soon as she heard some music, Haeryung gets up on her feet and starts to dance around the room. She was around 3 when she started doing that. Haeryung never got proper lessons, she mostly just copied whatever she saw on tv.

With the minimal knowledge she knows she tried out for the school dance team at the age of 7. Haeryung was the only one who got accepted in her grade level, the rest were upperclassmen (around 2nd grade- 6th grade). The dance team that time was pretty much basic as they learned choreography from idol groups and simply just cover them to perform at school assemblies. When she was at 6th grade, Haeryung was scouted by a small entertainment during a school festival. Her parents said she was still too young to join an entertainment and declined the offer. When she was 16 her family moved to Seoul as her father was asked to transfer there. As she is much older her parents already allowed her to audition. She auditioned for small entertainments as she was pressured if she were to join a big entertainment. Haeryung auditioned for Music K,Big Hit, and Maroo Entertainment. Haeryung only got accepted in Bighit and started to train there.

She trained a good four months in bighit before she was added to the lineup of their upcoming girlgroup.
