PERSONALITY :　

Same as any other girls out there, Ryujin is a cheerful-outgoing girl who is hardworking in all the things she does. her parents taught her not to be spoiled and if she really wants something she has to work hard for it. Whether it would be having good grades in school or something else. She is a girl who is quite playful, she likes to joke around and make everyone smile but when its time to get serious ,Ryujin gets serious. Ryujin has a driven personality, Since she wants to be involved in the entertainment industry she was taught to be open minded in all the criticisms she will receive and use those criticisms to motivate her to do better. She would like to describe herself as a deep kind of person. This girl has a positive outlook in life, Ryujin can be seen as a deep kind of person and she doesnt believe in bad luck nor in good luck. If things doesnt go the way she wanted to, she analyzes first on what went wrong then she analyzes what did she do to make that happen; Before she makes a move to set things right.

She has negative side though. Being impatient is one of them. She has trouble waiting for people, she dislikes it if someone asks her to meet them and she will be the one to arrive early. Ryujin doesnt like it when things are in a slow pace, she doesnt like beating around the bush. Ryujin wants things to be done immediately, Unless it was a sunbaenim or a staff member she tolerates it. Her impatience can lead her to become anxious, which sometimes causes her to over think and make her feel worried. She is also a bit selfish when it comes to her favourite food such as tteokbokki,kimbap,and jokbal, especially dumplings or any personal items of hers, like clothes or make-up (She says its because of hygeinic reasons). Ryujin can also be quite clumsy as she may easily lose any of her belongings, she may accidentally knock off some things accidentally (such as water bottles properly placed on the floor, she sometimes accidentally knock them out of order ), or sometimes food falling on her shirt and ends up staining on the shirt.

Though there are also times when she gets a bit aggressive whenever she plays games on her phone or games in general ; she likes to beat her high score, She is quite competitive. Her being competitive isnt really a bad thing, She just likes doing her best in everything she does. Ryujin doesnt like to do things half-baked. She doesnt want to show that she trained for nothing. Despite being all smiles and optimistic, She can get really insecure, especially whenever she see someone who does better than her. She doesnt like to show it to others and burden them with her own personal problem. Ryujin sometimes like to lock herself in her room and cry it all out. To Ryujin the only person who is her true rival is herself. 
 

BACKGROUND :　Born on May 14 2001 to a small family living in Daegu, South Korea. As a child Ryujin really loved to perform as soon as she heard some music, Ryujin gets up on her feet and starts to dance around the room. She was around 3 when she started doing that. Ryujin never got proper lessons, she mostly just copied whatever she saw on tv.

With the minimal knowledge she knows she tried out for the school dance team at the age of 7. Ryujin was the only one who got accepted in her grade level, the rest were upperclassmen (around 2nd grade- 6th grade). The dance team that time was pretty much basic as they learned choreography from idol groups and simply just cover them to perform at school assemblies.

When she was at 6th grade, Ryujin was scouted by a small entertainment during a school festival. Her parents said she was still young to join an entertainment and declined the offer.
When she was 13 her family moved to Seoul as her father was asked to transfer there. As she is older her parents already allowed her to audition. She auditioned for small entertainments as she was pressured if she were to join a big entertainment. Ryujin auditioned for Music K, Pledis, and Brand New Music. Ryujin only got accepted in Music K and started to train there.

▸ Im Woojin / 45 / Father / Doctor / Strict, smart, witty / He works almost everyday, he isnt   that   close to Ryujin as he is always busy with work. He is very much   supportive   with Ryujin's decisions in life

▸ Kim Ryu / 43 / Mother / House-wife / Open-minded, caring , loving / She looks after Ryujin the most   as  she only stays at home. She is closest to Ryujin and is the most   supportive as she was the one who accompanied Ryujin when she went   to audition.

EX-IDOL/TRAINEE OR HOPEFUL :　She joined Music K entertainment on 2014, she was 13 that time. She simply went to the company and auditioned. Ryujin trained everyday even at weekends, The schedule wasnt really a flexible one and the company always focuses on their artists.In that company there was a slight chance in debuting, Early 2015 she almost debuted in the ark but the company removed her from the roster as they said she wasnt ready, she was too young and the image didnt suit her. In 2016 Music K added her to the roster for their upcoming girl group named white. Whilst training she had the opportunity to be featured at BTS Highlight reel as the girl with J-hope and Jimin, Big Hit didnt have any female trainees and they held private auditions for trainees from other entertainments to audition.  Ryujin left  Music K at mid-2017  before the company actually made any plans to debut their rumoured girl group white. 

Now Ryujin is focusing first on her studies and trains independently by taking dance lessons at 1Million dance studio.

what made you decide to audition? : 

▸ "I want to have the chance to perform infront of people, even though i may not make it in the final 13 this show will be a fun experience and i will learn from it." Ryujin said with a smile. 

what makes you special?  : 

▸  Ryujin thought for a while "Hmmmm... My age?" she joked. "I think what makes me special is that, I'm just being myself." She said before further explaining "Everyone is special in their own way, I dont want to pretend to be someone else because that doesnt make me special. In order to be special you just have to be yourself and people can see your uniqueness"

▸ Ryujin  stood in the middle of the room, slightly fixing her hair. "Are you ready?" The staff asked her as Ryujin nodded and gave a thumbs up in response before looking down on the floor. Ryujin danced to Taylor Swift's Look what you made me do.
