— Hardworking- Karen is very hardworking, she doesnt want things to be handed to her on a silver platter. She wants to earn the things she gets for example she gets rewarded because she did good at school or because she herself saved enough money for her to buy the things she wants. 

— Cheerful- Karen is a very cheerful and bubbly kind of girl. You can always see a smile on her face, its very rare to see her sad. She tries her best also to be positive and spread happiness around. Karen believes that everyone deserves a happy life. Also she believes in the saying if you start your day with a smile on your face, all will go well.

— Open-minded - Karen is very much open minded to knew things and ideas. She is a girl who isnt afraid to try out something new. "You only live once right? Why not make the most out of it"- Karen.  She also doesnt mind criticisms since she knows its for her to improve. Karen is very strong willed with her beliefs and goals in life. If she wants something she sets her goal on it. She also is willing to fight for her or anyone else's rights, Karen wants to be the voice of the people who cant speak up for themselves. 

—  Playful- This girl is very much playful, you wont get bored whenever she is around. She knows how to set the mood. She isnt always playful, Karen knows when its appropriate to be playful and to be serious.

—  Competitive: Her being competitive isnt a bad thing, she just wants to show that whatever she worked hard for didnt go to waste. She doesnt want to do things in a mediocre level, she like to perfect things. 

—  Impatient - this girl can get really impatient, especially if one is beating around the bush. She likes it if people are just straightforward with things. Also if you ask her to meet up at a specific place and time you better be there on time because this girl doesnt get late (If she did she would tell you an hour before). If you get there later than 15 minutes without telling her beforehand she will leave.

— Selfish-  She can get selfish with food or makeup. Food because she loves food (who doesnt?- Karen) especially if its dumplings,pizza,or chicken feet dont expect her to share her food with you. Also make-up because of hygienic issues. 

—  Aggressive- She can get very much aggressive if she gets into a fight. She wants the other party to know what her point is in the first place. Its quite scary if you get into a fight with her because she has no filter.
 

background

— Karen was born in February 14,1998 in Seoul South Korea. She moved to Canada when she was only 5 years old, Karen pretty much grew up in Canada. Whilst growing up Karen had an interest in dancing, especially when she watched some upperclassmen perform in school. She started to learn dance through the help of youtube when she was 10 years old. She then joined the dance team a year later. 

In dance team, she learned different kinds of dance, She is flexible to any kind of dance whether it would be masculine or feminine. She has this androgynous vibe whenever she dances. She got into Kpop when she was 12 because of the addicitng music and the dances. She joined her love for dance and kpop by doing some covers and performing them at school during events. 

It was 2011 when there were korean entertainments having auditions in canada. She auditioned despite her mom not wanting her to saying she will never make it to Korea and she would be wasting her time. Karen proved her mother wrong by getting accepted to one of the companies. 

The company that accepted her audition was Cube entertainment. Though she didnt went for an audition but rather she sent a video of her both singing and dancing then the company accepted her and asked her to train in Korea. 

Karen moved to Korea all on her own, her mother wasnt really supportive but she still reminds her to not talk to any strangers except form people in the company. She moved to Korea in 2012.

Karen trained a good two years (2012-2014) but the company had to cut her off as she was slacking for the past few months. Luckily they suggested other companies who are accepting trainees and that's how she went to EM entertainment.

stage presence Karen is quite confident on stage and always give it her best though the crowd doesnt notice her as their choreographhy doesnt really show her true potential. Not only the choreographies dont show her full potential, she is also usually placed at the back since she isnt even a center and she only has a few lines. 

extra skills She is surprisingly good at beatboxing, She learned it when she was in Canada. Karen is also good at dancing to any kind of music, she is able to easily adapt to the music.

—  "Hello my name is Geum Junghee but more known as Karen, and I have been a trainee in EM entertainment for a year now" She said.
 

you are finally debuting in an idol group. How do you feel about that? 

— "It's kind of unbelievable" She said before continuing " I feel happy? and I want to cry at the same time... I just proved that i could really make it here in Korea... " She pursed her lips as her eyes start to water trying not to cry in front of the camera.
 

why did you decide to become an idol? and why em entertainment?

— "When i was a kid i really liked performing and seeing people's smiles as I perform. It makes me happy to think that my performance can give them happiness" She explained. "I want to perform not for myself but for others also" Karen added before continuing "I chose to transer to EM entertainment out of all the companies being offered  because not only this company has good reviews for good managements but we also have the same mindset. Which is expressing your vision's through music since nowadays music is a way to convey a message to other people" She explained. 

what do you think about your labelmates, mbx?

— Karen chuckled at the mention of MBX "They are a group of hardworking men" She said. "They may seem to be the type to be hard to approach at first but in reality they are very open and they always encourage us trainees to not give up and always do your best" She smiled afterwards. 

the 6 in 365 stands for skills. where do you think you're lacking, and what do you think your strengths are?

— "My strength is obviously dancing" She said before continuing "My weaknesses.... i think i like in vocals the most... i have a husky type of voice but i think its also good in a way since it could help harmonize the vocals.. well that's what our vocal trainer says" She chuckles.
 

the 5 in 365 stands for 5 girls. how do you feel about your groupmates?

— "I feel good about them since i trained with most of them i guess" Karen said as she was quite unsure with her answer. "I dont really feel anything bad about them but i guess im kind of nervous at the same time excited to get to know them more since we are in group, I aim to have like this kind of family closeness with them since we will be living together and such"
 

the 3 in 365 stands for making the crowd fall in love with you. do you think 365 will be able to do that?

— "Of course! It's possible" She said determined. "I will shave my hair if they dont... ok no" She joked. "The crowd should be prepeared with what we will show them" She gave a thumbs up and a wink.

— He is a person who is hardworking and reliable. Jihu thinks of others first before himself. He doesnt like letting people down even in the end it will hurt him. He is a person who is also reasonable and has common sense. Jeong can be quite playful and a flirt whenever Karen is around. Sometimes he lacks common sense making Karen wanting to tug her hair out of frustration sometimes.

 

love story

— Jihu has been a trainee at EM entertainment since 2013. He was one of the back-up dancers for MBX when they do live performances. He and Karen first met when Karen first transferred to EM entertainment after failing her monthly evalutation.Jihu is one of the best trainees when it comes to dancing, When Karen transferred he was the one who was tasked to teach her the choreography they are currently polishing. He was surprised that Karen was able to pick up the pace quick compared to other trainees who need to learn the choreography step by step and had to go through it a thousand times.

The two got closer when they were learning the choreography, Jihu was curious and asked Karen some questions as they were going through the choreography. Now they hang out during their free time such as breaks in between practice or during their rest days.

— They are quite close as they usually hang out during break time, as of now they are best friends but who knows maybe it could develop into something more.
