STYLE ♡ Very comfortable with no heed for what others think of her style. Usually in a loose shirt with a pair of short and sneakers or even just sandals. Sometimes she puts on some overalls. The only time she's really dressed up nice in a dress or skirt is when going to church.

PERSONALITY ♡
I tries to see the good in every situation no matter how bad it is because I live by the words, 'everything happens for a reason'. I'm also energetic so a lot of people call me 'Heung Maerin' (a lot = 2). I may be young but growing up around my siblings who were 10 and 9 years than me, I grew up to be significantly more mature than other kids my age. And speaking of siblings, I love them and my parents a lot. A lot of people say I'm a homebody but I just enjoy spending time with my family (and I'm lazy). Of course I love my friends and spending time with them too though. But I'm kinda (very) lame so not many people get my humor except the 'special' people. I may be on the mature side but I'm also very sensitive and easily hurt by people's words. I would say I cry a lot more than the regular person. I'm also stubborn and short tempered which surprises quite a number of people who never seen that side of me.

PAST ♡ As a child I was socially detached from pretty much the entire world apart from my family. Many people even thought that I was mentally ill and needed a psychiatrist but I was really just that much of an introvert at the time. Yeah, surprising considering my current self. It was a spiritual journey getting to this point to be honest but music has always been apart of my life and even in those dark times I found solace in music. Not just singing but dancing too. Even though I was an introvert I still sang and danced my little heart introverted heart out and wished to be a singer one day. Weird dream for a kid who couldnt even face her relatives without bursting into tears. But I grew up with music and grew out of my old self with it too and that's how I've been participating in choir throughout my school years. Now, in college, show choir!

ARE YOU IN ANY CLUB(S) AT COLLEGE? (ASIDE FROM SHOW CHOIR) ♡
Contemporary dance club

WHY DO YOU WANT TO JOIN SHOW CHOIR? ♡
Growing up my real dream was to be a performer but my Asian parents deemed it impractical and so I went for second best. That being social science in my case.

HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE CLUB? ♡
I can choreograph and play basics on instruments. If all else fails, I can be the choir's energy pill. 

HOW GOOD IS YOUR MUSICALITY? ♡
I have confidence in both singing and rapping. I like to believe I'm really versatile and can sing various different genres. Some fit my vocal color better than others but I can still change my voice slightly to fit that certain genre. I may need a little practice but after time I have confidence in vocal runs, riffing and adlibs as well. While my voice in itself is not fit for a main vocalist I doubt my skills. Although its not perfect, I can add harmonies to pretty much any songs. I make mistakes here and there but with the ear for it I can also mend and fix the wrong bits. (I tried to say these things as confidently as possible xD)

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU CAN MUSICALLY IMPROVE ON? ♡
Everything. I hate to be this, but I really am - the jack-of-all-trades but master of none. I can do everything but I'm not excellent in any one thing. That leaves a lot of room for improvement in every aspect for me.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SINGING/RAPPING? HAVE YOU HAD PROFESSIONAL TRAINING? ♡
I've been singing and rapping for as long as I can remember honestly. I've never had any professional training because I couldn't afford it so our choir teacher in school was as good as it got.

HOW MUCH MUSICAL KNOWLEDGE DO YOU HAVE? ♡
I am good with musical terms but I still cannot differentiate voices (head, chest, mixed) and I am only a beginner at instruments I play (guitar, piano, drum). I may lack in musical knowledge but I'm always open to learn. Although I do make covers, I don't get any professional feedback or the sort.

WHAT IS HIS PERSONALITY LIKE? ♡
Calm, caring, hardworking, stage present, loyal

Timid, forgetful, hesitant, oblivious, gullible

 

I'm a very collected person with little to say but when I do say something I always make a point. I am not very open to people I'm not familiar with and I'm rather hesitant when it comes to making a move or decision in anything. Some people call me oblivious because I tend to zone out and can be rather gullible.

WHAT CLUB IS HE IN? ♡
Soccer club

WHY DID HE JOIN SHOW CHOIR? ♡
Because I wanted to apply what I learned in my performing arts somewhere and improve my vocal skills.

HOW GOOD IS HIS MUSICALITY? ♡
I play the piano at an above average level and have been expanding my vocal abilities for the last 3 years.

HOW MUCH MUSICAL KNOWLEDGE DOES HE HAVE? ♡
My musical knowledge is average. I'm able to differentiate voices and etc. but I wouldn't say I'm a great vocalist as my specialty would be dance.

ANYTHING ELSE WORTH MENTIONING? ♡
I can choreograph dances and can do several different genres of dance. Being versatile in my dance styles I can choreograph to any mood and go up to difficult levels of dance.

FIRST MEETING TOGETHER? ♡
Taemin takes a minor in Social Studies for extra credit but he ends up hating it. Maerin happened to be his seatmate and they became on talking terms, slowly developing their friendship as they got paired up for pair work in class. It's his least favourite subject and he considered changing his minor but it was the only class he had in common with Maerin so he decided to stick it out and Maerin would also help him with things he didn't understand.

HOW IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP TOGETHER? ♡
After getting to know each other they both clearly express their fondness to each other and both know they like each other. But neither of them make the first move to confess and they end up in a 'some' relationship for the longest possible time. Both of them being hesitant makes their relationship very ambiguous and even the people closest to them never realize. The only person who ever got a hint was Taemin's best friend (can be anyone in show choir) who then shares with his girlfriend (or any other person in show choirs close to him). Their relationship only progressed when they finally got to go on an actual date as Taemin's friends pushed him to ask Maerin out officially - very slice of life xD

SCENE SUGGESTIONS ♡
Maerin being spaced out a lot because she's always thinking things over about their stagnant relationship and people around her notice she's been very quiet.

Taemin and Maerin being so not obvious that people instead start shipping either one of them with other people and they get jealous (so lame)
